If Eric Ten Hag was a good coach I wouldn't bother about any players leaving the team. But this is a man who gambles every game leaving the entire work to the players discretion and when he looses he makes excuses. To me, Bundesliga this season does not concern Bayern Leverkusen in any way. Allowing Xabi Alonso to leave was a big mistake on the management side even though I suspect that Xabi Alonso saw the team collapse and wouldn't want to destroy the reputation he has built for himself; and no one rejects offer from Real Madrid anyway.  Loosing by 5 goals to 1 against flamingo was a good indicator of what is to come and that was his first game.

More players might possibly leave by January when they can't cope with his style of play. Anyways, the good thing about him is his trophy mindset, he will always find his way around it and I give it up for him.

Bundesliga teams are mostly using their players for business deals and not really for fighting to win trophies and be amongst the best teams in the world, that is why till date we haven’t really seen them progressing and be really feared by most teams in Europe especially when they meet in European competitions they’re both participating in. Bundesliga to reach the top of their forms, they need to focus more on building formidable squads and not make compulsory selling off their best players when a good offer comes for them. If other top teams that are dominating now follow in their footsteps, they’ll most likely end up like them.

The problem with Erik Ten Hag is , mostly it looks good and nice and after some time all breaks down.
After the last test game they got against Flamengo there are already some loud noices , and to be honest Leverkusen wasnt good in this game.
For me and in my opinion he will be not making something there in Leverkusen , but who knows.

It's hard to defend Ten Hag when there's already a match in between that made him look really bad, We all thought he was going to shine in that game, but instead what he got was a humiliation, It's alarming I think Ten Hag will be given a maximum of 10 matches to prove himself , If he doesn't do anything, I think the most logical thing would be for them to leave the services he offers and look for a much more capable coach.

The Bundesliga shouldn't be underestimated. During a period when Borussia Dortmund wasn't doing well in the league, they reached the Champions League final and put up a great fight against Real Madrid. They could have won that trophy, but their luck wasn't on their side. If they had, they would have been crowned the Bundesliga's most recent Champions League champions. However, as we've seen, there are still negative opinions about Bundesliga teams. I believe Bundesliga teams are always best suited to win the championship and achieve further success in this competition.

I suppose Ten Hag should have learnt from his experience with Manchester United for him to accept to take a job for a team that management has no intentions of equipping the team for him. Perhaps that could have been what Xabi Alonso foresaw that made him accepted Real Madrid offer. How do a club sell out their key players and ain't replacing them to ensure the team make a good performance in the coming season?

To be fair they needed the money when they couldn't win the league. You can't expect Leverkusen to fight against giants like Bayern Munich, when they do not have the same income as them. Bayern can afford to pay anything they want for players, which they do because they have the income, they make much more money than all other teams and when you do that, you end up with best players in the league.

Leverkusen do not have that income, so when the chance comes for them to sell a player for a 100+ million offer, they can't just reject that because when will they ever get that chance again? The difference is, after Xabi won, he was expected to do great last year. ETH is not expected to do that great, I would honestly consider a top 4 finish as a great success for him, but if he ends up being out of top 10 or something, that has nothing to do with the squad he has.

Better to stay off for a while without having a coaching job than to be in a situation where you are left with what might not give you an impressive result to your CV. That's a more bad record than going off the radar. Moreover, coaches take a leave for a year+ just to have sometime of rest away from the troubles and stress of the job and later return to business.

Leipzig is a selling club they focus more on selling players, so that is why we shouldn’t expect much from them, a club that sells players every summer transfer, they seems to be always interested in offloading there talented players in the teams, so we shouldn’t expect any improvement from them, selling players is one thing and replacing them is also another factor, so the player you’re using to replace them, are they good enough to do the job for you and it might definitely take further season ahead, I really don’t see how Leipzig would compete for the title right now because Bayern Munich is far far ahead of them so their is no way they would fight for the Bundesliga Tittle, None of the teams looks strong to give Bayern a run for their money, Bayern Leverkusen would have been the perfect team to give them a run for their money, but they are trying to rebuild after selling there best players in this summer transfers window.

Xabi Alonso was a savior for Leverkusen, but Alonso also had the option to embark on a very different journey. I don't think Leverkusen will go back to the old days after Xabi Alonso because Xabi had a different tactical perspective and he had a good frequency with young and dynamic players. With the arrival of Erik ten Hag, I think Leverkusen will have a completely different structure, so Bayern Munich will once again dominate the league like in the past.
