Yea true leverkusen had far more control than Newcastle in the match, they dictated the tempo for long stretches and showed more intention in thier build-up play. They way they handle transitions stood out for me; newcastle rarely had the space or rhythm they usually rely on at home. The only thing that let leverksuen down was the final touch, for all the dominance and territorial advantage they created, the finishing simply did not match the quality of their gameplay.
