In as much as you may not want to consider Dortmund as a contender for the German title, they are the next best contender after Bayern Munich in that league, only that the point difference is just much and they may no longer want to chase it but that second spot in the table is a good one they will want to maintain so it can be stressing to them having  these series of games to play in a multiple at a time.

I don't seem to understand what you mean by Champions League being an "unexplored territory" for Bayern Munich. If I recall correctly, Bayern has been playing the UCL since 1969, and has been qualified many times after, so what is the experience lacking here? You see, being a local champion doesn't mean you are international champion, which is what is playing out with Bayern when they compete externally. I believe the local league is too easy for them, which makes it look as if they are unstoppable.

As for Bundesliga, I hope they do not relax too much this season, Dortmund is closing in faster than thought.

While I am not the one you responded to, from what I understand we can say that Bundesliga is easy for Bayern Munich to win whereas UCL isn't. Sure they have been there all the time, but they won it rarely, they won the 2019-2020 one, and did not even reached finals since, and before that the last time they won it was 2012-2013 season.

So it is safe to say that there is a big gap between winning Bundesliga and winning UCL, and it's harder to win UCL and Bayern Munich rarely does that. They can still do it, there isn't really a way that this could change, but for the time being we can safely say that Bundesliga will be theirs but most likely that UCL won't be and that is what he was probably talking about on the message you replied to.

Dortmund is already a strong team  compared to atalanta. Dortmund has been performing well for a while now and has been able to  continue its winning streak . They won the home match against atalanta 2 -0 . So it will not be very difficult for them to qualify for the round of 16 . dortmund will try to draw the match in the second leg..

Hoffenheim still continue to impress people by the way. Even though they were destroyed by Bayern Munich 5-1 they continued like nothing happened. They just beat Freiburg 3-0 home easily last week.  

Technically there is an easy match ahead against Köln this weekend. However the odds are quite interesting... Hoffenheim have odds like 2.00+ for the win. They lost to Köln home earlier in the season but I don't think it will happen again.

Dortmund are in good form now. They have continued  their winning streak in the bundesliga. The players are also  very confident. At the moment, their best chance of winning  against atalanta is in the home match. There is no reason to think that Atalanta's performance is  too strong.

The passes of that team were also not  more in number and these were 437 in this match. Hoffenheim playing well to defend top fourth position standings after destroying by Bayern Munich 5-1 and wake up last match by defeating Freiburg, the current standings Hoffenheim has 3 points remaining with Stuttgart and 6 points left with Dortmund at second standings. Next games against Koln should be easily match for Hoffenheim seeing the standings position of opponent team at 12th place and loss last two matches in a row at Bundesliga.
Seems not difficult for Hoffenheim for winning the next games and has bigger opportunity finish at top fourth position, based on the matches left in Bundesliga this season only has two difficult matches left for Hoffenheim by facing Dortmund and Stuttgart.

With the way they are currently performing, they are doing everything possible to stay consistent and keep closing the gap in points between them and Bayern Munich. Signal Iduna Park the 28th though. That crowd. That atmosphere. I've seen Bayern buckle there before and I'll believe it again until I am done. If Dortmund win that game... Everything changes. Mentally more than mathematically.

Despite the fact that Bayern Munich has lost one game in the entire competition to stop their unbeaten run of the season in an aim to break Leverkusen’s record, I never see any team that appears as a threat to them in the title race this season.
I know how Dortmund had also improved, and I know the points gap is not more large because it’s just six points, I don’t think Bayern Munich will lose the league to Dortmund because Vincent Kompany won it last year and I am very sure they can win it ahead of Dortmund.

Vincent Kompany is here to make history for Bayern Munich, he can do the same as You Pep Guardiola did at Manchester City, I think Kompany will do that in the Bundesliga because no much competition as it is in the EPL and maybe Laliga.

Because bayern Munich are more better then Dortmund this season and I don't really expect if Munich will be losing matches in the league back to back, if Bayern Munich lose today game there next game they will definitely do all there best to achieve the victory, so to think Dortmund to top the league table he won't be a easy task for them this season. So, don’t be carried away and think they will overcome Bayern Munich’s performance this season, that is not the aim of Dortmund, and Bayern Munich’s dominance will continue till we have another serious coach like Xavi Alonso, as he did to Bayern Leverkusen then.

If maybe any other season then probably Dortmund would still stand a chance at the toilet but for case like this I don't think Dortmund stands a fighting chance at the title because Bayern Munich have already clinched the league, I mean it's something that almost every football fan actually saw seeing how they actually started the season with lots of dominance and winning streak which went for a very long time before they lost to ausburg unexpectedly but even at that they have still managed to keep things well in check.

Correct! you literally understand the pattern of Borussia Dortmund because that is exactly what they do almost every season by making sure that they develop players they can sell in the transfer market rather than aiming for a trophy and this has been a long term pattern and it seems they are just comfortable making their money through transferring their key players to other big teams. Let us not be fooled by the consistency of Borussia Dortmund because we know how they will end by the end of the season. I even have a thought that Bayern Munich could be deliberately losing points in order to make the league a bit competitive since a lot of people have been complaining of how the league is becoming one sided since it has mostly been dominated by Bayern Munich.
