Bundesliga is a well fierce league where the best survives. Bayer leverkusen would have done more but a scale draw is not the confident you need to beat Arsenal next week. Bayer leverkusen couldn't squeeze a win with 10 men Bayern Munich. This is not good because they've been really competitive this season. Leverkusen would have been able to win today's game but what did they do with their chances? Absolutely wasting it and this trigger Bayern Munich to settle for a draw.

Not with 10 men, but towards the end of the match, Bayern Munich were down to nine men because Luis Diaz, who had scored a goal against Leverkusen in the match, was also sent off due to a red card. Even more unfortunate, Leverkusen's goal in the 90th minute was also disallowed for offside, making the draw inevitable for Leverkusen after a fierce first-half battle. And for Munich, they are clearly not disappointed with this result because they can still get one point to add to their advantage as the current top of the Bundesliga standings.

Nicholas Jackson struggles with discipline, this is exactly how he gets unnecessary bookings which affect the game they play when he was with Chelsea, he should control that else he will be dumped.
That is not the only area he struggles, he has literally struggled with converting the little chances that comes his way. He might not get too much created for him so it is best he learns to make sure he seals that ones he has into the back of the net.

Vincent Kompany should bench Nicholas Jackson as his punishment for making them not to win the game against Bayer Leverkusen because he can't be that reckless a a professional and not expect to be sent off in an important match he should be dumped so that he can learn in a hard way.  Maybe lack of playing time is affecting his confidence that could be his the reason why he struggles with conversation of chances but the coach should make him learn before starting him if not he should be kept them other good players be used so that when he is ready to improve he will be brought to play.

It just proves how damn awful the Bundesliga is on average. Leverkusen had +1 and then 14 minutes +2 players and even the ball possession didn't go in their favour. It's so embarrassing and I bet they wouldn't beat Bayern if they started with 10 players and then played the second half with 9 players. I don't understand how that is even possible? They are all pros, Leverkusen is so much worse now. They are dropping like a rock compared to last season...

The moment Kane took that shot after the goal I was like no way!!!!, in 10 guys they are beating Bayer.....if they had managed to score once in those 3 occasions they had after the goal it would have been awesome. I still believe if Diaz hadn't have done that, they might have managed to score once more, if not 2-1 it would have been at least 2-2 but with an even better game!

And if anyone thinks this is a chance for Dortmund...my god, some are delusional!

I think Bayern Munich are good at keeping their players focused and motivated, because when you are always winning, it is not easy to stay motivated. For example, in France you can see that Paris Saint Germain seem to have less motivation in Ligue 1 compared to the Champions League where they have same level opponents.

Bayern Munich lost two players at the same game, it's good enough to have just one point out of this game, no need to see anything like this. I do agree that they are going to not have any issues on the long run, it's still a good one.

With a lot of drama in this match clearly shows that Bayern Munich still can't be defeated, if only a quick goal at the beginning of the half was not obtained by Bayer Leverkusen maybe they would not be able to score a goal, because they managed to steal it made them able to hold on to a draw, the goal that was annulled was natural only this did happen to both of them it was better, but even though it was 2-2 it didn't change anything in the end it only ended in a draw, when in fact if Leverkusen was able to take advantage of the opportunity because Munich players were less because they were out it would be different in the end result, just not that easy to conquer Munich which is very strong at the moment.

For me I expected Bayern Leverkusen to actually bury the man after Bayern Munich got a red card because they were now the team with the whole advantage to actually turn the game around but they failed to do so and it's even more disturbing knowing that the red card was actually two and not one which turns the tie to be 11 men playing against 9 men of which would have made it clear victory for Leverkusen although they did score but the goal was cancelled out by VAR.

They're 9 points away from Borussia Dortmund and it would be tough to catch up with Bayern Munich.
 It seems that early goal Leverkusen scored coupled with Bayern's red card really affected them cause it took them long to equalize, maybe if they had equalised in the first half and Jackson didn't concede a red card maybe they would've won. They really tried to draw with ten players.

Even with the advantage that Leverkusen got based on the reduced number of Bayern Munich players, they literally got nothing put of it, Bayern Munich still remains really strong and will most likely continue to top the table for the longest, till the season ends I do not think there will be any suitable rival against them in the Bundesliga this season.

It's definitely incredible to be 1-0 down, and then get a red card, and still find a goal to make it 1-1 and then get another red card and still do not lose that game.

Bayern Munich is miles better than all the teams in the league, Leverkusen suppose to be one of the better teams in the league, sure they are 6th but there isn't really a situation where Leverkusen isn't where they want to be, but they are still a good team, won just a year and a half ago. So, we have to realize Bayern Munich is just unfair competition for this league and they are super talented for sure.

Jackson is ruining his career like a play. The complaints against him are increasing, and what he did to Martin Terrier is unprofessional. I love the referee's decision to upgrade the yellow card to red after reviewing it with VAR. That infraction is too high to overlook. If not with players, it will be the dissent with the officials. I only see him as weak; he is not just mature. Regardless, Bayern still showed superiority despite two of its players being sent out. That is relieving enough.

Bayern faced an easy team at UCL too, that was their luck, a 6-1 victory on their first leg is just insane and I think it's quite obvious that they are not caring about even UCL, they are doing wonderful everywhere anyways. Next series could be better, quarter finals, because there they will face Real Madrid probably.

I mean we can't know because City could win and go ahead but it will be Real Madrid probably but that doesn't mean that we are going to see Real Madrid and Bayern should be able to go up and do a lot better on that series as well. It's really going to be shocking whenever Bayern loses because they look like the best team in the world right now to me, and I can't see any of these teams beating Bayern, so whatever happens, it has to happen because Bayern didn't play that good.

The match featured numerous cancellations, VAR, cards, and questionable refereeing. I think Diaz's red card was unnecessary, and yes there was simulation, but in that case, a verbal warning would have been sufficient. Bayern is clearly stronger than Bayer, but I don't think one draw will prevent Bayern from becoming champions, and sometimes matches like these are needed to entertain the crowd.

If Munich still played with 11 players in the second half, the situation could definitely be different. The current score is 1-1 and it seems that there will be no change. We can see that Munich has played quite well even while playing with 10 players on the field. The second leg of the Champions League against Atalanta might not be too burdensome for them. They are already ahead, but in this match, they suffered a setback with a red card.

I also believe in that. Bayern Munich could have won this game without a red card. Even with 9 players in the last minutes they still didn't concede. There was a goal disallowed by VAR for Leverkusen though.

Actually, there were still quite a few mistakes from the referee, for example, Leverkusen first goal, I think Leverkusen player fouled Diaz first and Bayern equalizer from a free kick. Was it really a pure handball? In the rules, when the hand is not active or completely unintentional, isn't it not a handball? I think it would be a good step for Bayern to appeal this match.

With Munich's performance, Dortmund certainly cannot catch up in points. Munich might lose points in a single match, but not consecutively and willingly giving way to Dortmund. Munich is strong enough at the top of the standings right now. What Dortmund can try to do at this point is perhaps play as best as possible to avoid losing points, even though their position in the standings is not threatened by any team.
