He has done better than Thomas Tuchel and Julian Nagglesman for Bayern Munich it seem but this should be nothing new,  what is most important to the Munich fans is making sure they they win the Champions League competition with this good form they are having. Kylian Mbappe has recently tried to play physiology on them but they will have to show working when they meet themselves,  I do not see Bayern Munich getting knocked out

I do not think Liverpool will be a good destination for Xabi Alonso considering how he got messed up by Real Madrid, I think he should just take a little break for the moment at lest to help him get himself together before thinking about taking up another job

I think they will actually rest some players as we approach the final lap of the season, this is because of fatigue and the international duties. But i actually understand what you mean by typical Bayern Munich pattern of not resting players even if the league is won. There are two reasons to that;

1. There are many derby games and also games against arch rivals and this games are usually considered dear to the clubs regardless of how the table is shaped.

2. They do not rest the players because they feel like the weekend games makes the players stay sharp for the mid week games.

And in this situation the coach is definitely helpless in taking that powerful steps which helps the team to improve their performance. Literally, it seems to me that even though Vincent Kompany failed to win the Champions League for Bayern, the team will not relieve him of his duties as head coach as we have seen him lead his team to the quarter-finals of this season's UCL. To be fair, Bayern doesn't really win the UCL that often either, I remember that six trophies year but aside from that god knows when was the last time they won. So it makes sense not to fire him if he loses at UCL, but there is also a chance that he might.

I get that it may not be a high chance, but it's a chance and it may happen. We are going to see him do a fine job here.

Agreed, Kompany needs to rotate in the Bundesliga when facing weaker teams or when his position is already advantageous, after his team is ahead by more than two goals, he needs to rest some key players to maintain their fitness and prevent injuries because Bayern Munich still has a busy schedule. The Bundesliga trophy is almost theirs, now it's time to shift focus to the Champions League, which is more competitive than the domestic league.

That is one thing I like with them, once they are in a better form they continue to ride on it and never pardon any team they come across and that is the only thing they can maintain and which is okay for a team to develop.
