The same complain across other leagues. We have had one case or another in other leagues too. In La Liga a lots of people lost their bets thinking Madrid will win Real Betis but what later came out of the match was otherwise. The same thing we saw in the Saudi Pro League where the favorites Al Nassr was defeated by Al Ittihad and the same thing over here too. Schalke essentially won against Bayern Munich in what I would describe as a twist of fate for the Bundesliga champions but again, it has shown how we should take a back seat for now and watch the games for the next two weeks until most of these teams gain more balance then you can begin with your bettings

Perhaps Schalke earned their most valuable point. Bayern Munich, contrary to many predictions, didn't win by a large margin, they didn't win at all. Before the match, everyone thought Bayern Munich would score at least three goals, but surprisingly, the game ended goalless.

It was as if the whole big teams that are suppose to dominate their games during the weekend had a meeting not to perform well, what a way to shock the fans and viewers. Bayern Munich did the unthinkable by playing a goalless which I wasn't expecting because of the history the two clubs have, but looking at it from another angle, Schalke 04 did well to hold Bayern to a draw because they are the underdog in that encounter and getting a point is better than losing the whole 3pt. Who knows how this draw will transform the way Schalke 04 will be handling their remaining games, for Bayern I'd say is disappointing display maybe next game they'd try to cover up for their mistake starting with their champions league game.

This game definitely ruined a lot of people's ticket, Bayern is a team that has never had an issue with scoring goals as Overs has being the best option to play in a Bayern match and be rest assured that it will win. Schalke really pulled a stunt there by securing a point against Konpany's team, nobody could see that coming.

The last time Bayern failed to score a goal in a match was in club World cup 2025 against PSG, that's about 14 months ago. You could say that Schalke has done something that even the most popular clubs could not do, it ended in a draw but it was a win for them.

What a crazy weekend of football in the Bundesliga. Schalke 04 only managed a 0-0 draw at home in Gelsenkirchen, Mönchengladbach lost 3-4 at home to small-town club Elversberg, Hamburg got absolutely smashed 0-5 at home by Mainz 05, and Frankfurt embarrassed themselves against Augsburg and also lost 1-4 at home.
I could imagine that someone who put €1,000 on these games could have made a good few hundred thousand euros if they got all the picks right.
Now I’m curious which club will be the first one to sack their manager.

Getting a draw with Bayern munich was a thing joy for the schalke 04 team and a sad moment for Bayern munich team, there is this joy in a team after dominating a match and wins it, Bayern munich dominated the match but still didn't win but got a draw. I think schalke 04 targeted a draw instead of losing so their strategy was to play defensively by ensuring that no matter what they will defend till the final whistle by the referee. Bayern munich is going to win their uefa champions league match because that is where they will have more focused on this season because for the Bundesliga title i think they don't have any rivals to challenge them for the title.

What even makes it crazy is looking at all the effort that Bayern had to put into this game that did not yield a single positives. 15 clear shots with a 6 shot on target and 74% possession and yet they could not convert one to a goal. that was actually insane and it looks unlikely to see Bayern that are beast in scoring at least 3 goals per match struggle to getting one and eventually not even getting it at all. you just have to applaud schalke for a thorough work done to stopping Bayern.

Are they the only European team that's failed to win against a newly promoted team this season? If you research you’ll find out that the answer to my question NO, so your feeling that is a fixed match isn't valid. Some of these newly promoted teams do act tough at the early stage but might lose form on the long run due to lack of depth, fatigue and injury.

See how Hull City is acting in the EPL, they won Manchester United and drew Aston Villa but i doubt if they’ll maintain that energy for too long, when injury start hitting players it would affect the performance of such teams. Playing from home also helped Schalke get the motivation to draw, i was equally disappointed too cause it ruined my bet.

At first, when looking at this schedule, I confidently said that Munich would definitely win. But shortly before the match, I noticed some differences in Munich's starting 11. It seems Kompany was quite confident in fielding some other players. This made me somewhat blame Kompany at the start, although Karius, Schalke's goalkeeper, did perform very well. Many of Munich's chances failed to become goals because of his actions. Many people probably lost money by betting heavily on Munich. This result of course affects Munich's record of always being at the top since 2024 over 67 matches. Maybe if Olise, Kane, Musiala had started from the beginning, the outcome would have been different.

You just suspected something, which does not make your suspicion true, although I did not make a research on this, but ask, is that the first time such thing is happening, to me, I do not see any hidden agenda in that match, Bayern played as they can but was unlucky to score any goal, my bets were washed off because of that match, reason being that I bet Bayern to score 2 goals, but I will have to face the fact, there sometimes when we expect outcome of games to favour our bets, but it happens differently, that does not mean that the game is fixed, it happens, we do not control football outcomes, irrespective how strong a team is, they can draw to face defeat from an underrated team.

Yeah. It's pretty normal for people to think München would win by more than 3 goals because in the last two matches München won by big scores. So against a promoted team like Schalke people also thought München would win big but in reality the result was a draw.

But in my opinion, this draw was purely because Kompany underestimated Schalke by benching players like Olise, Kane and Musiala. Maybe Kompany thought this match would be easy to win, so he saved players for facing Bodo in the UCL tomorrow. But in reality, Schalke played very solid in this match. Bundesliga teams always defend when they play against Bayern, but this is the first time Bayern couldn't break through and got stuck in scoring goals. Schalke was insanely good, especially their goalkeeper Loris Karius, who also performed really impressively. Loris Karius was the best goalkeeper when he was at Anfield, but unfortunately, he dropped after the Champions League final and never fully regained his confidence. But seeing his performance with Schalke he seems to be back to his old self.
