They beat Bayern Leverkusen in their opening match, beat Borussia M'gladbach from behind in their second match to record 2/2, I'm sure if it were not against Bayern Munich today, they would have probably won. This team is really doing well and they are not acting like a team that just got promoted into the lead.

I don't know if I am the only one doubting Bayern Munich this season; they are not a stronger side this season. They are supposed to be stronger this season compared to last season, but from the performances we have seen so far in the Bundesliga this season, Bayern Munich has lost form. They have already dropped two points in the league so far and it was not against a bigger opponent. They have now given room for Dortmund to try their luck this season because they already won their first three matches, and from their performance, they are also set for the season.

I was expecting Bayern Munich to score at least three goals, but they were only able to score two goals, but they did the job by winning against Elversberg, who have yet to lose a single match until this one. They are a very strong side and can try to qualify to play in Europe next season.

Keep calm, Bayern Munich will still sweep the league and win it with more games to spear towards the end of the season. It's maybe one of those games where top teams do struggle to win. Some games are like that but regardless, I just love the way this newly promoted Elversberg is doing in the league, if they can come up and give the big guys lots of trouble in the league, it will be wonderful but I know it won't really last, just at Hull City in the premier league, they have so far not lost a single game, they went as far beating Manchester United and drawing Chelsea. It's good now but we know when the time comes they will start dropping points. These teams don't have the tendency to maintain playing toe to toe with the big guys, it's a pattern I have come to realise and notice.

Bayern Munich wins the league easily and not just this season, but in others as well. We are simply going to see a repeat of that this year. They did manage a surprise draw, but that doesn't matter; they still succeeded in taking all three points in the Elversberg match. I had expected an easy victory and a comfortable win from them. Even though it didn't play out exactly that way, they still secured the three points, and that is what mattered. Yes Bayern Munich have seriously started the season very late but should we all agree that fatigue might be the cause since most of their players were in the World Cup plus in this game they were up against Elversberg who have been flying ever since they got promoted. You might be right on this, but this is the third match of the season, what if his rotating his squad to see how they will perform going into the season which is a good idea. Knowing the strength and determination of your squad early cannot be over emphasized, there are weeks you will have to play difficult opponents back to back and you need your players to be ready for such a task instead of risking these particular sets without proper replacement incase of any unexpected injury. Not using your main players all the time will give them enough time to rest and also recover to carry on the season. PSG has performed well in the champions league by resting players, maybe as you have suggested that his trying to rest some key players.

Bayern Munich is a good team capable of doing anything but that of the champions league this season is what i don't think can be easy for them to fulfill this season. Last season would have been the perfect time for them to rewrite history  but failed because of reason best known to them and doing it this season is not going to be an easy task for them.
Although they would have done it last season if not for the mistake they made when they faced PSG, but correcting it this season cannot be possible because there are alot of teams working towards that path of victory this season, so given the glory to any team now won't be possible as know  one can predict what the outcome would look like.

The whole situation is just a fair tale and no one is underrating them if you ask me, they are just temporary placeholders in that position. All they are doing right now at the top is just to warm up that number one position until the rightful owner comes to take it. Bayern will come back to reclaim that top spot when they are joking around. So let the Freiburg fans enjoy the temporary ride at the top while it lasts. The season is still fresh.

I saw how offensive Elversberg can be but playing against a dominant side they just have to sit back and rely on counters. Elversberg defended well too, but Bayern got more serious after the equalizer, they pressed even harder until they got the winning goal. Honestly Elversberg won my heart, holding off Bayern and losing narrowly was really impressive. At least a draw would have been another motivation for them.

Hamburg was a walking disaster last time also, not surprised at all, but at the same time one has to think: they might be last but who did they play against and it was Dortmund and Leipzig, so basically number 2 and 3 last season, so in theory their only actual chance was Mainz and they screwd that up big time.
Yup, the score is worse than anyone could have tought so but them getting beat 2-0 instead of 5-0 wouldn't have changed much.

I was going to bet against the top teams but I always got carried away with other things and never managed to get a schedule on it.
I need to look more at the odds on goals, I don't think Bayern can keep up what they did last season, so going against them here might be some value, but again, I need to actually make some time to check those damn odds before the games thoroughly.

In fact I think they likely won't even be able to challenge for a top4 spot Champions League qualification, as Leipzig and I think even Bayer, despite their slow start to the season, will eventually overtake them. As for the leader, even Bayern have already drawn one match and Borussia Dortmund have nine points, I believe that by around Matchday 10, Bayern will already be ahead of everyone else in the standings.
