probably not but if it can be as a big as mastercard or in the third spot with the overall global volume, i would be satisfied enough, no need to replace fiat, for saying that bitcoin was successful

No, and we shouldn't want it to be number 1. If it remains an alternative to the fiat currencies it can remain strong, pure, and independent from government. If it becomes number 1 then governments or business will seek to control it for their gain  and that will lead to the same manipulation we see with fiat currency today.

I don't think it will ever replace fiat.  I think of my grandparents and I don't see them using bitcoin ever.  And fiat cash they will continue to use.

I do think it will grow.  I consider I believe digital money will grow hopefully a lot, and I could be wrong.  But right now BTC is king of the digital money.

For replacing fiat, my answer is "no". But bitcoin can, in my opinion, fully or partly replace Paypal, Western Union, bank wiring, credit cards etc.

Most likely it dosen't need to be number one , beside I don't see how the value of bitcoin will be calculated to USD or Euro or Yen etc if Bitcoin replace fiat  Huh It wouldn't make a lot of sense .
So we just need to go mainstream and replace the famous payment methods like Paypal , Credit cards , Visa etc ... (Bitcoin is basically best of them for what comes for the speed or fees or anything else)

Bitcoin doesn't need to replace any Fiat currency out there to be successful. Remember that! Governments would probably never even allow this to happen, since government will start the war before it loses a total control over the money.

Bitcoin can and will find its own place in the world financial system and will work side a side with the Fiat currencies, while getting a part of the market or few niches market and will serve them well.

Even this scenario for Bitcoin would be huge!

I agree. And so many factors that will affect bitcoin as a number one currency. But it'll be better for online payments method like paypal, payza, PM, etc.,
still having the future for bitcoins.

Replacing fiat is not on the line next to where bitcoin is. In the future it may grow even more and can be used by many more people but as long as not everyone in the world uses this or know what bitcoin is then probably not.

i surely believe bitcoin has a great future, but i am realistic enough to know that it will never replace an existing fiat currency. bitcoin is a great alternative, bitcoin doesn't need to replace anything.

Yes, I believe in Bitcoin. We don't even use paper money anymore, almost all transactions are handled by credit cards. I'm sure Bitcoin will replace this high commission system in the future.

do you believe with bitcoin in the future can replace fiat as a number one currency?

the question here is, why people will need fiat if everything could be done with bitcoin? Tongue

nah seriously, the fight here is with governments and that they will do everything needed if bitcoin becomes more stronger than now, the key is what they will do.

The reason is some people will fear and not want digital money.  There are some you just cannot convert into BTC believers.

As far as fighting governments I don't see that happening on official currency.  Most likely I don't see any countries dumping fiat as official ever.  I just don't see it happening.

It's not hard to buy bitcoin, and sometimes it's not full anonymous because when you buy bitcoin in exchanges they require too many documents.

No I don't think so.At least not for the next 50 years. Fiat money will still exist however only in digital form.
But Bitcoin will hopefully find it's place in this world and make us all a bit more independent from the incumbent.

Personally I believe that fiat won't be the number one currency in 20 years. I think that rare commodities will be the #1 thing that will be valued as I believe the world (or atleast I hope) will go back to the gold standard and dump fiat all together. But the likely hood of that happening is almost close to none, because of the fact that rich guys in suits (i.e. Rothschilds) will prevent it at any cost to keep centralized banks #1.

But overall with BTC, I believe that it will be #1 for the next 10 years with others coming close to it's price but not topping it. Other cryptos will become prevalent due to what they provide. Monero might be one that comes to mind when talking about ultimate security and anonymity. LTC might become prevalent when it comes to fast transactions.. and so on..

But that's just what I believe.. I really don't know much about the crypto world in the first place, just hear stuff from friends.

Firstly, I believe in Bitcoin and I want to make it easier for newcomers and less Internet-savvy based users.
Secondly, you have to admit there are parallels with TCP/IP, email.. to me it seems like a sensible gamble to think that Bitcoin will become very mainstream.

No!
i believe that bitcoin is going to become so much more popular in the future and be used worldwide. it can be accepted by a lot of different businesses all over the world , a lot of online shopping can be done with bitcoin in the future.
but i don't think it can replace fiat completely, fiat is going to always stay number one currency, and it might become more evolved that what it is now but it will never be replaced.

Yeah, as for the crypto world I believe btc will be used for mainstream online stores, monero will be used for underground markets and anything that privacy is the #1 goal, and probably fiat would still be used for day to day transactions with businesses.  Maybe at that point in time though they would have BTC debit cards or something like that if the person has a lot of their funds with BTC.

As much as i want to see bitcoin grabbing the number one spot and replacing it, the thing is that fiat can still exist alongside bitcoin. There are areas where fast over the counter purchases might be more convenient if we just use fiat to pay but when it comes to money remittance, that is where bitcoin would help.

No the devs can add more decimals if needed, so that is not a problem. Bitcoin can easily replace fiat, but its time has not come yet.

We need to wait 2-3 more years to see some results big!

It's not about decimals also the fiat mostly is traded in cents and not further. But bitcoin has a good future if nothing against bitcoin happens.

Fiat is always needing a much higher decimal bracket because its inflating.

Bitcoin is deflating so it needs more decimal places eventually. After 1 sat= 1 million $, i doubt you will pay 1 million $ for a bread.

No. I dont think it will outright replace it in fact i dont think theres enough of it to completely replace it 21 million spead between everyone in the world never! unless 0.000001 was worth like a million dollars

No the devs can add more decimals if needed, so that is not a problem. Bitcoin can easily replace fiat, but its time has not come yet.

We need to wait 2-3 more years to see some results big!

It's hard to believe that 1 sat will be 1 million, you make me to save some satoshi Tongue, but yes it is needed to be more and more decimals but time by time or all in once ?

I think the 8 decimals are ok for the next 10 year, but after that we might need like 16 just to be sure.

Fiat will be worthless soon, so not even 100$ bills will be worth anything when 1 trillion $ bills will be printed.

I think you look so far, like 10 years from now. Like your opinion Smiley i think Fiat recovered itself by e-banking by buying online so the competition with bitcoin will need more and more decades.

Bitcoin will take a lot longer because it relies on people understanding how it is secured. People don't know/care how credit cards or banks are, because they're insured and it doesn't matter. Bitcoin is in a completely different boat.

Well at the moment from now 10year looks a bit to far, but yeah it's all about security and the new debit cards make bitcoin very useful.

80% of all fiat is already digital only (doesn't exist). It's not a secret -- we are using a fractional banking system. And fiat was using digital money in this fashion long before Bitcoin was even dreamed of, :p.

do you believe with bitcoin in the future can replace fiat as a number one currency?

it is hard to tell. bitcoin is still in its early stages and is considered practically a toddler.
so bitcoin needs more time to grow and fixed different problems that it is facing then it might be side by side of fiat but never replace it .

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

Yep bitcoin was am embryo the last years, but it already been born and now its a toddler.

Funny that the news sites already consider it dead when it was still on embryo phase.

Now its a weak toddler, but very well nourished by the community, hopefully grows to be a strong muscular entity Smiley

The news sees it dead/dying because they think the government is going to kill it off (which they could do if they wanted). At this point it's hard to tell what's going to happen for sure, but the government seems to be moving more and more towards accepting it, which is great.

there is nothing wrong with bitcoin being just an alternative to fiat currency. if we can manage to see a bitcoin balance alongside our fiat balance in our bank account, then it can be considered a huge milestone.

Yes, but its like a hydra, if you cut 1 head off, 2 respawn in its place.

But bitcoin wiki also says that for bitcoin to exist there needs to be atleast 1 free country left on the planet.

And since all countries start to fall into tyrrany, I have no clue, but if bitcoin beats the system faster, than the system beats bitcoin, then we can have a bright future.

If people were being arrested for using BTC and all banks became hostile, there would only be a small group that uses it. When you can't transfer money in/out of a system and can't even talk about it without getting in trouble, the majority won't take the risks. This whole "hydra" thing is asinine -- Bitcoin is absolutely not bulletproof.

yes i believe it,
but in my opinion, bitcoin need more time to replace fiat, because because not many people know what is bitcoin, how to use them, how to work. it all takes a long time, and need the support of various countries and communities to use bitcoin, for now there are many who do not understand what is bitcoin

I also believe it. Because Bitcoin is not controlled by any government or central bank nobody has their hands in the pot. And without anyone with their hands in the pot the transaction fees to send and receive money are virtually zero. This represents an efficiency in the marketplace I believe consumers and merchants are already demanding.

You clearly don't pay attention to what you're responding to and the context in which it's posted. That's like saying "you can't kill someone with just one hit. On, you mean with an axe? Well, that's a bit extreme..."

it wont really replace the fiat form.

but the technology itself will be used in the finance industry sooner or later to make it valuable to those who are holding it.

The technology isn't tied to BTC, though. Any currency that uses the blockchain can easily take over BTC's spot. It takes a couple lines of code to change a site from accepting BTC to LTC, for example, or any other currency.

I do believe in future of bitcoin. It is a long term investment but it can't replace fiat as number one currency since fiat is physical. Maybe bitcoin will adopt in many country but not as number one currency I think.

I don't know if Bitcoin will replace Fiat entirely. But I believe it will substitute a lot of payments methods. And even if Bitcoin, the currency dies, bitcoin the protocol will always stay and it can be used alongside with Fiat

Bitcoin has all the property one can have full faith within it. I strongly believe on bitcoin. On a decentralized digital money system who will issue the coins. So, it's automatically generated. It's simple point to show the fairness of bitcoin. We all can believe bitcoin.

I think asking this question here is not a fair place for anwser.  It's like going to an apple release and ask if they like apple products... your results will be skewed from being at a pro apple place.

In this case the most popular bitcoin forum.. . will chances are believe more then just a random sample of people.  For example go to my grandparents they will not believe currently.   I think age partially effects it aswell.

But you need to find a more even place to ask this.

if dollar startrd to die (which is nearly impossible) the US goverment will do anything to prevent dying
but in bitcoin people want something and others wants something else (block size by example)

We'll need to wait until the demand for Bitcoins rises. Until then, sit tight and enjoy this growing global community.

No, and we shouldn't want it to be number 1. If it remains an alternative to the fiat currencies it can remain strong, pure, and independent from government. If it becomes number 1 then governments or business will seek to control it for their gain  and that will lead to the same manipulation we see with fiat currency today.
If the government wants controll they will buy hence pump btc and make users richer so no loss.

That makes no sense. If a government wants control, they simply make it illegal in all forms, and release their own version that is legal to use.

bitcoin does not belong only to one country so that a government can control it if they wish to. besides the only control they can have over bitcoin is to make it legal or illegal and also take taxes from anybody who uses bitcoin for business and that is all.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.

That's the bitcoin.org page, recently updated for how many confirmation needed to act upon receiving a bitcoin payment. It's must be noted for business people who take bitcoins and need to decide how much risk they can take while accepting bitcois. Thanks for the URL.

i surely believe bitcoin has a great future, but i am realistic enough to know that it will never replace an existing fiat currency. bitcoin is a great alternative, bitcoin doesn't need to replace anything.

You kinda need to narrow down. Some fiat is worth nothing for some reason or another.  Look at ebay you can get large amounts of useless bills to collect.   So technically BTC is better then some fiat.

But you are right compare to USD, Euro, etc.  BTC will never take over in any of these markets.   I do think BTC will be used more and more and have more people adopt using it.  But people love fiat money, and it does have some security to it (such as us FDIC in banks) that bitcoin's cant really do.

Bitcoin can, but most of here says no and I agree with that because if bitcoin will be the number one and replace fiat currencies. I think Government and others will control it to take advantage to manipulate. Never be number one for bitcoin for me its okay to be number 2 and bitcoin is the better than Paypal, credit cards etc.

Commodities are too difficult to use, though. You want to take silver to McDonald's. "That's be $7.32." "Okay... sec, let me shave off 0.03 ounces of this for you." "Okay, let me weigh this to make sure it's right."

Yes. Bitcoin can be trusted to transform world economy into new level. For this reason I also believe in bitcoin. Believing not just in bitcoin but into the core technology which makes bitcoin possible. So, blockchain technology is the reason makes me to believe in bitcoin.

I think it's a little unfair to say all government fiat currencies are corrupt.   Some governments they help their fiat money remain valuable.  Other countries are "bad" or corrupt and their fiat will have massive inflation.

Bitcoin really needs government acceptance to last long term.  You will see exchanges registering with governments to do business.  If we want mass acceptance we also want government acceptance to a point.  If a government tries to block bitcoin or go against it that would not be good for value.

Government support is no longer needed when everything is available for bitcoins. Because exchanges need to handle both fiat and bitcoin of users. To handle people money we need government approval. But when everywhere bitcoin is accepted there is no need of exchanging into fiat. End of exchange as well as Government intervention.

Bitcoin is anything you want it to be. If you want to use it for buying and selling stuff, online and in real life, then it is a currency. If you want to keep a certain amount of fiat into Bitcoin then it is a store of value.

At this point it can't compete with real fiat currency, and that shows as governments still haven't fully banned Bitcoin as they don't see it as competitor for fiat currency, yet. If the time comes that Bitcoin is getting too close, then governments will play it hard to ensure Bitcoin stays small.

Yes. Bitcoin can be trusted to transform world economy into new level. For this reason I also believe in bitcoin. Believing not just in bitcoin but into the core technology which makes bitcoin possible. So, blockchain technology is the reason makes me to believe in bitcoin.

But for me I'm not agree bitcoin will be number one and replace fiat currencies. If that case bitcoin will be replace fait currency in the future for me I don't want government take control it and manipulate it as you can see in real world there is always a corrupt. that is why I don't want bitcoin to replace or to be number one Fiat currencies . just saying

This would require EVERYONE to accept it, from farmers/material fabrication to transport to manufacturing to warehouses to utilities to (insert endless list here).

I strongly believe that would happen very soon. People already have lost their faith with fiat currencies just due to the situations happened in Greece. Everybody wanted to save their wealth most securely for next generation. Bitcoin will help them to help itself to reach the number one position.

Bitcoin is now almost 6 years old. What else we need  from a technology other than it's survival. If one thing lasts over time means it has something to prove us. Without reason, on one long lasts. So, for a reason bitcoin was created and still existing. We need to believe in bitcoin.

I believe that bitcoin will be more popular in the near future.
At least a +100% of the price in the next few years.
I expect a good jump at July of 2016 when the block reward is 12.5BTC

It's hard to say what having will bring.  I'm hoping we see increasing.  But if it stops a lot of miners from mining I'm not sure what will happen.

It's all kinda speculation since the having is a little while away.  If we do get increase likely before having we would see it, not sure how far before though.  I will be holding my coins though hoping for decent jump hopefully.

Can you remember what happened the last time when it dropped from 50BTC -> 25BTC

Has it increased or decreased the price, i think that if bitcoin price will increase then the mining farms will continue their work.

Also i highly believe that the difficulty will change as not all miners will continue their journey if their profit is 50% less.

The price did not double or anything. It was on a uptrend however, but it was very slow. The biggest difference for miners will be the reward dropping and many miners dropping. We might see -20 to -30% difficulty when that happen. But all in all, it will be much left profitable regardless, for quite a while.

Will this history happen again in the next July of 2016.
Based in this not a huge jump will be happening at that time.
But i think that miners know this, and a new generation of mining rigs will be produced probably!!!

But, no one can be sure exactly what would happen on this upcoming halving. History may repeat or will repeat on next halving.
It's a inter dependent cyclic movement....
Step1. halving--->less profit--->Less miners--->Less difficulty===>Price unchanged or +/- 10% change
Step2. buying bitcoins easier than mining--->price raise--->More profits to miners--->New miners--->Difficulty Increase
Step3. New higher price is target for many bitcoin hoarders ---> Sell bitcoin--->Less price--->Less miners--->Less difficulty--->Go to step 2.

That's the good explanation how the upcoming halving will impact on bitcoin prices. I too optimistic that price will return into raising side just because of mining costs. Hopefully the 2016 would be the year that every bitcoiner is expecting.

I am very excited to see what will change at that day when the halving will happen.

Of course that the price normally should change a bit but i like to see the bitcoin price higher.

The block reward goes down from 25BTC to 12.5BTC which makes the miners uncomfortable.

Even the not believing people also started to use bitcoin like my boss. He said that bitcoin seems like a ponzi, but now he pays online using bitcoin. He explains that there is no point in believing bitcoin to use it for your regular daily uses. I guess only investors need to believe.

If your boss pays on bitcoin for the whole company is it counted "Tax avoidance"
Or it is normal as paying the salaries through the bank, which should pay some fee.
Bitcoin price is increasing too much and now it is around ~280€ pretty high.

Bitcoin still need much development in order to replace fiat but it's impossible to happen. It will take many many years. Rather than thinking bitcoin to replace the fiat, be contented to what bitcoin can do today.

Btc can and will evolve slowly, its us who have to accept the changes, after bitcoin is better adapted and people better informed they can do nothing.

I my view oth regular spenders as well as people who are all hoarding, both has faith in bitcoin. Bitcoin's success is based on the number how many people are using it and how much volume it occupy in daily transactions.
So, bitcoin would be a successful regardless of people believing or not.

Of course I do believe in bitcoin. The fact I am actively participating here on this forum is one reason I believe in bitcoin.

Bitcoin is also our future, bitcoin helped me a lot these days and definitely will help me more in the near future. There's no reason for me not to believe in bitcoin. I always keep my faith on it Smiley

the litecoin halving did nothing to the price, so I prefer to don't hear who says that with the btc halving the price can rise. It's an unknown answer
Maybe litecoin has nothing near BTC volume and demand, id say that ltc is much more speculative than BTC. But BTC is involved in many more markets than ltc. So i believe that since many interests BTC can make the difference.

No it wont replace fiat. However it may in the far far future. Now or in five years? It's a no. Because fiat is so popular right now that noone will accept to use bitcoin and using bitcoin to buy small thing like a candy bar or a snack is like in hell (unless you got QR code or something) as there are to many numbers in it while fiat is easier (a candy bar is $0.32 for example while bitcoin is 0.001abcdef) and if bitcoin replaces fiat, value of everything will be calculated to bitcoin with some freaking numbers that noone can even remember it. Thing's really complicated I think ( just want I can think of right now, I know there's more)

If USD crashed so hard and gold is not stable at that time, guess what is the likely candidate for a global reserver currency? Cheesy Bitcoin may replace fiat in the future if the dollar keeps crashing and declining in value.

I would not count on this hapening.  If we have a USD crash it will not be good for bitcoin I don't think.  We really want strong fiat in countries to buy BTC.  And stong BTC values to.

So we want both I think.  I don't see if USD loses value most jumping to BTC. I think gold/silver would jump dramatically as most would go for it.  But this is fiction I don't see it happen.

why? if usd crash the euro will take its place, or the third strongest fait, i don't see bitcoin overcome this unless all fiat system collapse, or at least all the strong ones

The recent price appreciation has many reasons behind to it. So, always there are lots of possibilities for bitcoin to hit higher and higher prices in the very near future for that one main reason would be the halving.

I do believe in Bitcoin's future, but I do not think it will replace any fiat currency. The technology behind Bitcoin will definitely change the world at some point in the future. Banks and governments will notice that this is the best technology that they have seen for sure.

I do believe in bitcoin but it replacing FIAT currency.... maybe in 100 + years but not before that...

The reasoning :

People believe in fiat...

when u want to sell a service u charge in fiat currency and then convert it to bitcoin...

..cuz fiat has a fixed price and bitcoin doesn't...ofc there is inflation but not great changes to it's value.. $1 = $1 but 1 BTC = $300 or 1 BTC = $1000

I do think that it is possible, however in order for this to happen, there needs to be "banks" which can charge a fee for something in order to be able to make this work.  With BTC, there is little needs for banks to be there so they will need to make a reason to be there, which means they need to find a way to charge a fee.

When our generation is the last (computer generation) we will accept it fully.
But even tho many people i know would use it if it would be more stable. And many people are still confused what bitcoin really are.

I do not believe that Bitcoin will replace fiat in the near future. The reason for this is that people fear digital money, and think that because it is virtual, it is dodgy. Now I don't believe that, and think that it is the best online currency. It is the best, and will continue to be.

Nope.  0 chance of that happening unless the elites that currently own all the soldiers and high-tech weapons decide it needs to happen and basically hoover up (either via purchasing or by force) the vast majority of it first.

I do not think so. Bitcoin would be more stronger after another 10 years. Bitcoin will become as a replacement to gold in international trades and for individual online payments are fully dependent on bitcoin alone.

If bitcoin replacing fiat as number one currency I think that is possible, but that is still far from happening, but to make that happen, people really need

to adapt with gadget and internet, and in my opinion I think its really cool to buy something using phone

I really hope this is happening because when this happen its mean we can do transaction globally with only 1 currency

Yes initially just like how some people says even I used to think Bitcoin is not stable it keeps fluctuating but now nothing stable even the paper currency is keeps fluctuating so better I will invest in Bitcoin itself which can give me much more appreciate rate and higher return on investment.

I agree with you sir, If they can adopt or how to use internet or gadget bitcoin can't be replacing to be a number one currency. And bitcoin is only running in network as of now. But when the time comes bitcoin have free internet all people have gadget maybe bitcoin can.

That's why i don't think there is real difference between Bitcoin and the other currencies

Reading all the comments I agree staying #2 to fiat so it stays independent would be better.  If we could leave the government out and make it #1 that would be best. I believe cryptocurrency will one day be at the top though it might not be bitcoin.

We can't say at this time, that bitcoin can replace fiat as a number one currency because many of the guys don't even know about Bitcoins. And how to invest properly. So trust ,knowledge and belief is required.

Not for quite some time that it will be anything like money Fiat. It could be second or third, like Visa and Mastercard now is.

It may be a third option for people who don't want to carry Fiat and don't, again have a credit card.

If science fiction has any factual basis, I believe that BTC, or something similar, could probably eventually, probably in the near-distant future, completely replace fiat currency. In many sci-fi stories, currency is commonly referred to as credits or such where all transactions are completely digital saying the least. However, until the Older Generations die off really, there will always be people (and probable fanatics) that will reject digital currency for primary trading, decentralized or otherwise..  Undecided

I think Op created unnecessary thread here. Without believing bitcoin how he can earn bitcoin. Bitcoin users are believing bitcoin and bitcoin is cen percent will become a future currency of the world and It will replace USD's Value in international market a powerful currency.

i think that bitcoin might possibly replace fiat after a few decades if people will be interested in it

Hopefully not and let just bitcoin system what it is today. Many people will adopt bitcoin even it will not replace fiat system. Didn't you know that if bitcoin will become centralized we will not experiencing now the freedom of bitcoin transaction today as it will be under Central and World Banks legal term.

if i would not believe into Bitcoin for the future then i very likely would not been here and would not stake any Bitcoin. i guess most here are believing in the future of Bitcoin.

I think Op created unnecessary thread here. Without believing bitcoin how he can earn bitcoin. Bitcoin users are believing bitcoin and bitcoin is cen percent will become a future currency of the world and It will replace USD's Value in international market a powerful currency.
might be OP just curious how many people do believe with bitcoin in this forum so he create this thread

Yes, I think fiat will become an additional service that the world will rely on things like bitcoin.

That is my feeling as well. The bitcoin will grow stronger in the future. The fiat such as US dollar will devalue all the time.

Bitcoins will never replace fiat but I do believe that bitcoins will be recognized and become legal soon with some restrictions which is OK till it is still volatile. Fiat is an offline payment mode while bitcoins is more like forex where we trade currency pairs and only only a virtual currency.

Bitcoin is both an investment and a currency. That is the beauty of it. Gold is just an investment. We cannot spend it easily.

bitcoin can only be used online, but I hope bitcoin can buy everything in online.

Interesting how people are so obsessed with bitcoin.
Why not paypal? Just because you're paranoid about not having your payments traced?
Maybe you should not buy illegal stuff. IMO.

Many more billions are obsessed with paper that is printed out of thin air and is totally worthless, why are they not obsessed with wrapping paper? I am sure there are many reasons from many people mine is, nobody controls it and it is decentralized. Nobody has a license to print billions of btc's. No body is in control of my funds and limits what i can and cannot spend or freeze my btc should they wish. I could go on but i think you get the gist if you have a brain cell. None of the above is for buying ILLEGAL stuff. To answer original post will it be the number one currency-No i dont think it will but it will along side all currencies which is just as good.

I believe in bitcoin and it has survived various backlogs over its existence and in the lead when compared to the cryptcurrencies that are found in the market. The bitcoin will be the only cryptcurrency that is to last for generations.

I am glad you see my likes of btc and that you see the sense and the big difference over the current system. Yes you have to be very careful with bank accounts, luckily nothing has ever happened to mine but ido have friends like yourself who have had problems with them. People are always saying btc is dead i think about 90 times and each time it comes back stronger. I will continue to believe and have faith regardless what some trolls think.

So you believe in wishful thinking the price is going to be ridiculous high but not the tech and possible future of the blockchain etc, i see some disappointment in your future.

You believe 1 Satoshi to be worth $1 at some point in the future? Seriously? That will make 1 whole Bitcoin cost $100,000,000. Keep dreaming.

Bitcoin or not, this type of decentralized monetary system will persist. There has to be a way for people to have financial freedom and not have banks and governments weigh on us and surveil our every move.

Lol it's impossible. Can you image that if one satoshi price will be $1 ? how about faucets ? they will pay you 0.00001 satoshi per faucets maybe. it's more hard to count that decimal from satoshi to bitcoin. lol.

faucet claim amount can adjust but if you imagine 1satoshi becomes $1 in value, so we need to pay atleast $10000 as miner fee for every transaction if that happens? i dont think so. bitcoin price is possible to reach very high but not like that. and if you compute 1satoshi to $1, can you really imagine a bitcoin will worth $100m in the future? thats impossible IMHO

Anyone who thinks they are going to get rich off current faucets... is nuts.  It's pretty simple.  You will make cent's per hour and I can't believe how many actually do this.

Compare time spent on faucet and amount you make.  In most cases you would be better off buying 5 dollars worth sit it on a paper wallet for years and it will be more then almost all faucet use.  And Bitcoin is not get rich quick.  To many think that it is.

When somebody has nothing to do for a period, they can get some bitcoin from faucets. That is better than gambling, at least he will not lose money.

It has already reached every corner and its value is well known. Many are pitching into this forum and starting their career with it. This is the sign of its immense growth among everyone. One who know bitcoins is not just stick with his/her self. Everyone is sharing the benefit of bitcoins with their friends especially who are unemployed. This really takes away the unemployed and makes them feel really thankful. Even i too felt it. I have just started my career and waiting for the payment which will make me feel that the btc is too supportive.

Thats right, believing in bitcoin is good but having that big expectations is not something practical i guess, it is nearly impossible to have the value of $1 as just one satoshi, in that case we would all be rich if stayed alive, because even if that happens it wont happen so soon that we can see it.

I believe in Bitcoins that it would never go below $500 again, but I don't believe currently that it could replace fiat that easy because it is actually needed for us to take the advantage of trading this asset and gain profits and live our life more freely... Wink

do you believe with bitcoin in the future can replace fiat as a number one currency?
Obviously as a real bitcoin lover I believe in Bitcoin and it has a great future.Bitcoin is the best online currency.I don't believe that it could be possible replace an existing fiat currency.BTC is a great alternative,Even bitcoin doesn't need to replace anything. So In my opinion there have no chance bitcoin replacing fiat.
