Trading is risk and risk is not for everyone, not everyone can handle that so I can understand this decision. If you want to be successful trader you have to put a lot in that and be determined to succed and make profit. This also brings a lot of stress and disappointments so many people quit.

Yes trading is not for everyone because some of us always wants an easy money earning field and they think that trading is like that but they didn't know the risk of trading where they can easily lose their money if they are greedy in choosing a coin or investing in altcoins. If you want trading then determination and hard work is a must.

Trading is for the people who have passion on it, I like to be a successful trader also but I know how hard the journey to be successful. I believe if we will work hard we can learn to master trading and the good thing with trading is when you will be able to master it already, you are gonna make constant profit, unlike in gambling that you are relying on your luck most of the time.

Yeah ,it is so hard to become a successful trader as it requires big patient to acquire skills and good knowledge .Skills and mastery how to trade for you go along with those any movements in trading will that can make you profit small or big it matters .

In some cases Learning is not enough for us to earn profit in that thing traders have big difference .We must apply what we have learn .If you dont apply ,you may end up always losing and thinking now to quit trading.

Application of the knowledges that you got in trading is a must because it will help you to master those skills that you learn from studying the market. Quitting for good is your decision. Theres no guarantee in trading. We all know that trading is like gambling and also risky. If you dont know what coin you are holding better prepare yourself to be rekt and get hurt.

i do not think that trading is as risky as gambling. to me i think gambling is more risky than trading. in trading we use our skill and experience while in gambling we mostly depend of our luck.

yeah trading is really not risky because people are earning bitcoin in good amount through trading because bitcoin price is going to higher value and a lot of people buying bitcoin with low price and then hold it for high price .

Well, anyway if I were the OP I would take half of that and convert it into his local fiat currency in order to be prepared for anything that happens to bitcoin. The rest I would invest and see what happens, or maybe buy something with it.

Trading is not that much risky, and It is very easy and simple. Buy coins at a low price and sell it on high price that's it. for this we don't need to take any class. But the thing is we must know where we will get coins at a low price and where we want to sell our coins for a high price. If we are aware this trick, then it is easy to do trading

Actually I think the decision he made was right. Trading should not be done full time because it is not a stable job. If you can't balance your time

between the two of them it is a wise decision to give up the other one to give way to something that should be prioritized and that is his offline work.

Personally, I don't think that you should get or be ready to lose. As I understand it you should think more about winning, not losing. You are ready to lose, you have basically already lost. A winner doesn't think about losses since thinking about them will move them closer to you. When you are ready to accept the losses, you will likely do less to actually escape them than when you think about winning

So guys, after 2 years of trading i am going to stop. (unless i have full time to trade, which i currently don't)

I have calculated all my trades on the various platforms i have used in the last couple years.

Deposited: 47BTC (roughly)

Withdrew: 40BTC (roughly)

Overall i am happy with the results, i would pay 7 BTC anyday for what i have learned so far.

Now the question is: what the fuck do i do now with my money.

managing finances is essential that you know how much profit or loss may be that your mistakes in manage so before taking action to sell you should calculate how much the price is right for the profit.

It is why he wants to quit trading because instead of calculating profit, he is calculating his losses and he is more afraid to lose.

op just to quick to move , if i am not wrong back in september 2015 the price of bitcoin are around $220 means 47 x 220 = $10,340 , he has lost 7 bitcoin means 7 x 220 = $1,540 . if he still hold bitcoin until now , all of it won't be a loss , but still a profit as today bitcoin price around $1,200.

40 bitcoin left means 40 x $1,200 = $48,000. he is not in loss , he is on completely profit more than 400% !

It dropped slightly, but not enough to make current price a good buying moment. Especially if you take into consideration that we are far away from seeing Bitcoin finally scale. In that regard, expect the price to drop more than has been the case already. Only good thing about this situation is that the market is going through some decent ups and downs from time to time. It's indeed a perfect time for traders, but not so much for the average Bitcoiner. Yes of course if we stop trading we'll stop earning those  high profits but all the experts can't simply trade and earn profit as you need timing and sometimes the timing won't be suiting us and  it becomes really stressful to trade. Sometimes money is not the only thing just remember to gain momey most of the time we have to sacrifice something.

To trade and also earn money easily then you need a lot of time to sacrifice in able to get knowledge that you can so the timing will be not a problem for you because you already know what to do next and what are the things to consider in doing your future trades. Money is not a normal thing and we should work hard to get that because if we have money then we can literally get almost we want because in the world, money is like a boss and if you got money then you can be and get respected like a boss.

What you are saying is sad but also true. We are in a world were people have forgotten that there is something called family , something called to enjoy and not just run after money all the time. As a trader of course we obviously know what to do next but the timing is bad. For example i knew that dash is going to increase soon but i was still waiting for perfect results and i finally bought dash at 4 am in night. I did get a really good profit in long run but because of trading i was getting daily headaches and anxiety. I did take a break and felt way better.

yes i also think that it will be a right decision. as the price is still trading below 1200 USD therefore it is still good time to trade bitcoin and secure a good position. because the price can go increase at any time.
