Little gamblers like us can not make gambling for them profitable in long term and always loose sooner or later.Only professionals make it because they get money from their sponsors. We can not use professionals as example as they don't represent the majority so it is not profitable in the long term at all.

Professionals do not make money because of sponsors, professionals play games like poker where there is no house edge or sport betting which is skill based aswell, that's why some of them can make a living out of it but it's extremely hard.

Yeah, i know some of my friends that do gambling very professional with high profit everyday.

Yap, also many people here do  gambling and get a big win. But not all to survive for long time.
Just people a profesional in gambling always survive.

There are professionalists, that can survive in gambling world, years or even decades - they are called casino owners Wink

and you forgot the cheaters and exploiters Grin they're much better and can earn more than owners Grin

I think what you said extremely lucky may be one or two times should be OK but not every day. If one want to make a profits for long term then he/she should be lucky for every day so I think it is not possible for any one to make profits from gambling in the long run. One should use gambling only for fun activities.

you are wrong. professionals make money from sponsors on top of cash prizes. that is what happens to all the sports players and game players. and in case u dont noe, some professional gamblers also target table games like roulette where there is house edge but they just know how to make profit out of it. not all the time but most of the time.

It can profitable as well as not. If you play against bots (programs) then you should not expect profit for a long term because they use algorithm and generates random numbers which will then depend on luck

But if you play against peoples then you might because not only luck is used there but our skills too. If you become professional then you can fool newbies and gain profit

Of course it can be profitable.

Let's say you got an certain amount of money that you bet and you win double. The next day you can go in with the same amount of money that you started with and leave your winnings on the side. Just don't use that.

There's a chance you'll win double the amount everyday just as long as you leave your winnings at home.

If gambling can be profitable in the long term, casinos won't even exist or make a profit. Even if you're disciplined and don't let greed take over you, you need a huge luck to have more wins over lose (if you're flat betting). Strategies wouldn't work due to the progression.

Just people a profesional in gambling always survive.
That is called betting on a set game or better to call it betting on a fixed match which can be a crime in some countries. there is no gambling where you can be sure unless when it is fixed match.

Yeah, i know some of my friends that do gambling very professional with high profit everyday.
Everyday making profit can be there , but with good odds thats difficult until it is a fixed match.

yes professionals make money from sponsors , but when you compare it to what they have actually won in order to be a celebrity you would know that their sponsorship is just extra money for them
professional gambler may play roulette , cause he is a human being at the end and sometimes he wants to try his luck even with -EV
the only poker player who beat the casino was Phil Ivey playing baccart , and then two casinos took his wins cause he was so smart and their cards weren't perfect , it was easy for him to know the card without marking it

As long as you win more than you are losing then yes that's a profit.

But you should still be carefull. For some people it's hard to stop and really addictive

You just can't win from gambling --'
You can  win if you gamble against people but computer algorithms are too good to be fooled by humans, you just can't win on the long term.

Computer is not smart than human, that super computer algorithms made by human. So if you know what exactly are you doing to gamble you can make it profit in long term.

I'm in 400,000 euros debt , dont help me , i rather die

I think so, but whit work rith? Because if it without work I can't afford that. Because working as IT I can earn 50 USD a hour.
So yeah if I gamle with work I am sure that is profitable in long term.

Its depends on the player to control yourself and should know, when to stop play it if you got huge win.

I used to be addicted to it too that's why I quit for awhile, I needed to take some time to learn to control myself. I still have it that I feel the need to keep playing because there's always a chance that I can win. I try to stay away from it as much as possible but it's really tempting for me.

it wouldn't be for long term because if you win today it doesn't mean you will win again tomorrow
and no guarantee if you do a gamble you can earn profit everyday

There is always the possibility to win money in the long term, really small one. Imagine you have been gambling at dice for the past 3 months and you lost around 1 bitcoin until now. You deposit your last Bitcoin to the site and go crazy, you bet the whole bitcoin on 50% chance and boom, you win 1 bitcoin, now you are at 0 profit, you do it again and with some luck you get another bitcoin, now you have 1 bitcoin of profit, you could call that profitable in the long term, then again, it's all about luck.

i dont think that it is possible for gambling to be profitable in a long term if you are playing a lot of gambling games then you will most probably end up without having any money in your pocket
