Chart update. Aeon is still good as long as the price is in between those 2 lines. If the price goes up the upper line it is overbought, if below that it is oversold.

I see that there are some Aeon holders who are expecting much more than this present price increase. Do not be discouraged, there is more to come but it will take longer. Aeon is not a pump and dump coin.

It is always same greedy bunch of people.
They would sell their mother for a pile of AEON.

I bought first tranche of AEON @ 30k sat today. If it will dump much deeper I will buy more.

This is the only real competitor to Monero imho, because AEON allows only one zero mix transaction per block.

This coin is really from the monero devs? I can not find any information about this. Do you have a source? I think it is a real competitor, but there is no information which makes me think that Ricardo or his people are involved there.

Do your due diligence.

The ANN thread for this coin was started by a Monero Dev.  He leads the project.  (Also note he posted 3rd on this thread...)

You could take a peek at Smooth's GithHub history:
https://github.com/iamsmooth?tab=overview&from=2017-04-01&to=2017-04-30&utf8=%E2%9C%93
Or read a bit more about history of Monero and the part Smooth has in it:

No not really. I'm one of the Monero core team members and I took over maintaining this coin when the original dev abandoned it.

It obviously has a lot of connection with Monero due to: a) being based on the same code, b) significant overlap in the community (including some investors). However that doesn't mean 'monero big investors' will necessarily ever want to buy into it.

Do your own careful homework before putting any money into this or any coin.

I speculate the Bittrex pumper is also Monero's famous man of the high castle as someone here in the forum called him. I reckon it was Spoetnik, and he was alluding to the infamous Reptilia.

Maybe reptilian accumulating, he is hanging out in a nut house so anything could happen.

I know it's not exactly any of my business, but what happened to that guy?

I used to lurk in the CryptoKingdom thread and remember it seemed like he was suffering from some kind of mental illness.

Mental illness is NO JOKE! If you suspect yourself or anyone you know to be suffering from any kind of unusual mental wellbeing, please seek help or reach out to those in need.

I wouldn't say "only" ... the ideas at the center of it, I think, are why it will succeed. Monero is a different coin because of its basis on a different (but similar) set of ideas. Think ubuntu vs redhat etc etc

Bitcoin as well was ridiculously overpriced at 25 cents once, and people wished some of the leviathans of the day would dump to get the price down.

But....why?  Aeon is one of the best forms of money our species has ever seen.  Why should someone get rid of it for your benefit?  Will you also give away large chunks of your Aeon once it's worth $30 and $80 each?

Remeber how Monero started. For a good part of 2016 it was trading sub 1$. in 2015 it was trading as low as .25 USD. Why oh why didn't I buy then? Well look where we are now, Aeon is at .25 and Monero at $25.00. What do you think will happen here in the next year or two? Its a gamble but I think its a good one. I'm in with 1/2 of my BTC waiting for the rise. See you all in a year I'll be driving my lambo.  Grin

Bittrex has a large number of coins that are not being maintained by their staff.  Why are these same coin wallets working on other exchanges?  This is really nuts.

Given the memory requirements otherwise, you will need LMDB first, before you can support 32bit clients.

These new accounts hyping Aeon in the thread might mean two things. That they are farmed accounts trying to increase their activity in the forum or they are the people who bought at 40k satoshis and above and are now presently bagholding.

Welcome to Aeon.
