True and that is what I am trying to explain to some of the newer more enthusiastic members here that have seen their money double or triple basically overnight. DO NOT FOR A SECOND BELIEVE THIS TREND WILL CONTINUE INDEFINITELY. Too much too fast is not a good thing I would have rathered a slower growth pace but hell TX does deserve a bit of a boom phase. Just be prepared for the inevitable bust phase.
Completely agree here, Set some buy orders, make sure you guys set them at a reasonable price, I was extremely surprised when I woke up this morning how high the number of masternodes has rised and how high the price has been. Remember guys we do have cross sending too, So at some point during the day you should get your sells filled. If not move them up slightly on day 2.

Socal's TX Trading Tips to Reduce the Chance of REKT
1. Never EVER spend more money then you can afford to lose. That means don't mortgage your house to buy TX.
2. Find a profit margin you are comfortable with and STICK TO IT, DO NOT GET GREEDY. I personally try for 100% so when/if price doubles from my entry point I sell half, make back what I spent and free ride the rest.
3. Set buy orders in conjunction with market buys. You will ALWAYS pay more by market buying, making it harder to profit. Be patient wait for buys to fill.
4. NEVER dump your whole stash at once. Sell off a bit at a time to maximize profit and reduce the chance of crashing the market.
5. ALWAYS spread your buys and sells between exchanges to mitigate your average buy price and maximize average sell price.
6. NEVER put all of your coins onto just ONE exchange. Hacks can and will happen. (Ref. Mt. Gox, Cryptorush, Mintpal, Cryptsy, etc.)
7. STAKE STAKE AND MORE STAKE.
8. HAVE FUN.
Hope this helps you new guys.

That's right. Just don't touch the original 10k.

Just a quick question, is the masternode staking at a higher rate when the rewards are compounded? i.e. You start with 10,000 and after a while you have 11,000 say, will it stake and increasing frequency or does it just stake on the basis of the 10,000?

I think we could become very popular if the android app is updated. More optimization is needed - i cant read half the app from my g3 Better looking product = more consumer trust

I'd say this price increase has been from a relatively small amount of BTC flowing into TX, the Vol is still razor thin on Bittrex (but improving) to about 2.4 BTC/24 hrs. In fact I am inclined to think that it may have even been a false positive of current TX holders buying on the speculation that price will increase later, which pushed the price up relatively high with such small volume, which led other TX holders to panic buy thus continuing the cycle. Once volume starts reaching more appreciable levels theres no way to determine with any amount of certainty how much price growth is "organic" sustained growth from new investors or "artificial" short term booms from current investors seeking to increase their speculation holdings.
I am not advocating to buy or sell, do what your bank account can handle. I am merely trying to reign in some of the over confidence of "TX to 250k+++++" because I have seen time and again whenever that mind set prevails it is that much more brutal when a downturn does occur both psychologically and financially.

I don't believe compounding does anything for masternode staking or regular staking. Your wallet is going to stake from all addresses compunded anyway. masternode payments are done by work performed on the masternode. 66 masternodes online right now. Awesomesauce https://chainz.cryptoid.info/tx/Edit: Plus you can stake and masternode at the same time. The regular stake just ignores the 10k transaction for the masternode.

In fact I can only name three alts that have gone over 250k sats and maintained that standing long-term and those three are DASH ETH and LTC (I know there other alts over 250k but I'm talking big cap, heavily traded, widely distributed coins with proven viability)

Using a masternode.conf in your data folder will allow multiple masternodes with just 1 wallet open https://dashpay.atlassian.net/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=1867877Theres a dash guide, it should pretty much work / give you enough info to adapt to TX, you can go straight to step 2 for the masternode.conf info

Unfortunately I've been taught better by my peers than to do a project like that. Which could introduce more scams into the crypto scene. (if it isnt a scam in itself) Sorry about that ozboy. I know it may be a very popular subject and everyone wants to create their own coin. BUT not everyone should have one. It takes a lot of time, dedication and knowledge. Especially to keep everyone and the network secure.
