The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

hi, is 1.2.3 recommended for those running masternode too ?

It is for everyone, but is not mandatory. It is a maintenance update. Below are the new things added as features.

8. First altcoin with Dynamic DNS Masternodes. This is for people who can't get a static IP from there provider. Released 4/2/2016
9. First altcoin with GUI for creating masternodes. Pic: https://i.imgur.com/BqLuvmJ.png Released 4/2/2016

Edit: Here is a list of what was done, posted by infernoman.  Grin

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1203975.msg14409746#msg14409746

A broken down list for Bitcointalk.

The newest addition is the masternode manager. which has been re worked to use the masternode.conf. Now when you create a masternode in the wallet. it automatically gets added to the masternode.conf And makes for a much easier interface to manage all of your remote masternodes. There are still a few things that need to be done with it. But it works much better than it did before. and i'm hoping it will be a bit easier for users to make use of.

 @Infernoman   Changes to accommodate Android QT
 @Infernoman   Store transaction list order in memory rather than compute it every need
 @Infernoman   Don't process transaction's we already have.
 @Infernoman   Apply Bitcoin patch for miniupnpc 1.9 VULNERABILITY PATCH
 @Infernoman   Remove donation addresses from MM since they aren't working.
 @Infernoman   Add main-specific node state
 @Infernoman   Per-peer block tracking, stalled block download detection, orphan pool limiting
 @io-eightyeight   net: change max outbound connections to 12 (from 300)
 @io-eightyeight   trim: remove redundant scrypt files/references
 @io-eightyeight   Merge pull request #1 from io-eightyeight/trim-scrypt
 @Infernoman   fix secp256k1 build hack
 @io-eightyeight   win32: use a more modern API call in FileCommit()
 @Infernoman   Watch only addresses in AvailableCoins
 @Infernoman   Remove coin selection by coin age
 @io-eightyeight   Set TCP_NODELAY on P2P sockets
 @io-eightyeight   parameter interaction: disable upnp if -proxy set
 @io-eightyeight   compat: fix errors/cleanup
 @io-eightyeight   rpc: disable SSLv3 (in favor of TLS)
 @io-eightyeight   doc: add SSL instructions
 @Infernoman   Changing LockedPageManager to use a managed instance
 @Infernoman   Fixes when compiling in c++11 mode
 @Infernoman   Add support folder
 @Infernoman   Uses FixSpentCoins to fix PoS reward wallet corruption.
 @Infernoman   Cleanup compiler warning.
 @Infernoman   Move core implementations to core.cpp
 @Infernoman   Fix compiler warnings.
 @Infernoman   Fix linux build's

Yes my apologies. We are only supposed to post in threads that had no block explorer with a live coin. Post deleted.

Again, sorry.

Vegas

I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed Smiley https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

I'm having problems when trying to compile the wallet on Windows 7.

First of all, I had to build secp256k1 libs (it is not said in "BUILD WINDOWS" guide). Secondly, I'm getting these interesting errors:

I'll be updating the instructions and the windows build environment with the release of the next version of the client. I was working on it a bit more last night and finally got my Windows VM setup correctly. So i just need to get my ubuntu machine up and running. and my mac machine.

happening any time soon? ...

i have now - tanx ... Wink ...

though very brief instructions - the windows build is always the most difficult ...

which windows are these instructions based? ... windows 7 8 10? ...

fully installed windows or a vm? ...

ill delve further into this this week - as im still settling in to the new place and still unpacking ...

looks reasonably easy ... but as with anything windows based - looks can be very deceiving ...

Hey crysx it's been tested on both windows 7 and windows 10. And should be reasonably easy to get through the instructions. But as always if you have any issues I can try to help you through them. Everything to build has been provided including QT 5.6. Just make sure everything is unpacked to the C drive. instead of unpacking it to a folder on the C drive.

Something needs to be done to spread the coin out to more users. Something also needs to be done to keep Transfer coin FRESH in the minds of everybody.

If infernoman had a whitepaper that top DEVs can criticize, then we get some exposure.

If it is possible to update all the wallets, in my humble opinion, I would suggest a 10,000 block session in the future, where block reward is temporarily increased from 1 TX to 10 TX.

We could get the thread busy, with Developers coming back, if we are allowed to vote for this temporary phase in the future.

This bonus 10k block period will force members to stake, sell and buy Transfer coin. It will also create awareness and attract more members.

Of course, we have to allow the community to vote on this, and we need to give members at least 2 weeks advance notice before the BONUS BLOCKS begin.

Actually I like that idea.. high stake period would be awesome.. TX is an exceptionally under valued coin considering it's superior tech

Lol a Trump fan  Smiley our politcal circus in Australia is bizzare but thankfully not as bad as the US, your elections seem to run for years. Keeps everyone distracted I suppose.

If a bonus block period was to come in people would need heaps of notice. like a good month or so run in to it.

TX takes a long while to mature. and I was staking 60-70 times a day and the with new wallet decided to resend it to myself to get all coins in one block,

That was 3 days ago and still now only getting 5 stakes a day..

The longer the run in time the more we could get out and spruke it as well. I would happily troll Yobit for a month  Smiley

If it is to hard to do with hard forking and so on required I am sure there are other ways to bring attention to the coin, I dont mind a quite time for next few months, I'm still 25k off my target, These prices are good to buy a few more every week  Wink

Wbb got away on me 8k short of my target. still bites me...
