We need to scream these points out loud (copied from the OP):3. I will setting up the Rokos flavor on my Raspberry Pi 2 and will run a masternode and stake 30 k coins form the same wallet. I will hook it up to a solar mini solar system. Stay tuned for updates.

I'll let infernoman explain the technical aspect. But basically, this option will allow you to identify the bad one(s) and ban your wallet from connecting to them. As they can cause slow sync or delay connecting to other nodes on the network. It also allows you to unban the nodes. You will be able to tell from the ping times column in the GUI what which is a bad\rogue node. High ping time the node is a bad\rogue node. Then you can just ban the node from the GUI and your wallet will not try to connect to it. In the same respect you should be able to choose the nodes with the best ping time and only connect to those nodes. This giving you more solid connection to the network. Hope that helps, that is pretty much how I understand it. |
