The real gem in IOTA’s repertoire is Tangle, their Directed Acyclic Graph system that works differently from traditional blockchain ledgers. There’s a lot of buzz about this technology, as it promises to scale infinitely and offer no cost transactions.IOTA has taken a clever strategic position by being the only main player in an emerging industry like IoT. It is certainly a coin that is going to see wide-scale adoption and revenue generating partnerships in the upcoming years. For this reason, it remains one of our analysts top cryptocurrencies for 2018.

What are your forecasts for growth in the value of IOTA in 2018?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

My balance is 0. First and last time used my wallet to deposit the original amount in July. Followed all instructions known to man but still nothing.

Use this instruction - https://forum.helloiota.com/588/Help-My-IOTA-balance-is-zero-steps-to-help-you-find-your-balance-v253

Clearly you did not read my post.

According to a message of Dominik yesterday, he says

#general channel on IOTA Slack:
"we've just finished all the preparations yesterday, and are beginning to reach out to people (KYC) and we're investigating a few different issues. The first payment will *definitely* go out today."
-Dom (December 29, 2017)

What does Know-Your-Customer (KYC) in this case mean? Is there a process needed to get the reclaims? It is a little bit confusing.

Please only answers of users which do know, no FUDster and newbie account which only spreading false information.

Only Dom knows for sure. Sounds like more delays “ investigating a few different issues “

The legendary creator member here in this forums has threatened to keep people’s money, that have spoken out against these thieving devs. So, if they ask for your seed or any kind of address verification, they’ll be keeping those funds :-)

I wonder how they can execute kyc without having actual contact info of all the affected users?

Probably the most in-depth analysis article about IOTA

https://steemit.com/crypto/@ipa-news/iota-analysis-in-details

I hope you appreciate the quality: you can’t find this exhaustivity anywhere else.

Please share this article if you like it Wink

The KYC thing is about the cases where multiple reclaims where made for the same seed (possible scammers/ hackers). Regarding the reclaim process, did you succesfully use the reclaim functionality in the latest iota wallet?

Thanks vaddi,
I got the quoted message from the thread you have posted. I claimed only 2/3 of my funds which are available for me. But for 1/3 I forgot to claim and I was not sure what Dominik meant with KYC. I only claimed once for my remaining stake so I think it does not concern me. Thanks for your explanation.

Very, very bad PR... The worst. It's like you purposefully want to turn people off from investing in IOTA with the replies like this one.

You'll get your tokens in due time, don't worry. For now I'm helping you to play the victim card. People like to look as victims.

Does anyone know that if I have some pending transactions under my old seed which haven't moved in a month, will mess with the reclaiming?

I don't want to bash IOTA but it's getting kind of frustrating that I haven't been able to move my IOTAs anywhere from my wallet for over a month now.

I just wish I could get my hands on them again and sell them to someone who appreciates them more.
