ALL OF MY IOTA HAVE VANISHED FROM MY WALLET?!

I opened my wallet for the first time today in a long time and my wallet was empty. I tried to reattached my address to the tangle to see if that did anything and nothing. So I've searched the tangle for my address and this is what it says?

As far as I'm aware all I have ever done is transfer my IOTA from Bitfinex to my wallet back in December and have never touched it since.

Does this look like my wallet has been hacked and the money stolen?? Or is there something I'm not doing right to access my funds?

Don't know if you noticed, but almost every ICO/new project has on its website some DAG/Tangle background, even if most of them are ERC20 tokens. Does it say about the future ?

that's definitely the future ^^
almost every single new token got that background.
and if you know more about tangle, you should know it's advantages over others technology, specially fit for paying transaction.

Hey guys, with all the bitfinex news regarding tether I would prefer storing my iota on a wallet. Is there a reliable wallet available yet? Or do you think no need to worry regarding bitfinex?
Thanks!

If those 10M going out are what you are looking for, then possibly. Did you use one of those seed generators?

CONCLUSION
IOTA is definitely at the forefront of cryptocurrency. With its state-of-the-art Tangle technology enabling instant and free transactions, it’s the main candidate for the emerging IoT market. Having partnerships and use cases in the real world serves as a proof of concept for IOTA’s vision. As the amount of smart devices increases every year, the number of use cases for IOTA will only grow, so it is natural to assume the currency’s price will also rise.

Yeah, I wouldnt say all coins. There are a lot of shitcoins in top 100. Still I think IOTA had a great 2017. We'll see what the future holds

Great coins, it goes beyond block chain technology, and is the extension of block chain technology. The price will not fall too much, high quality coins.

Regarding issues on Bitfinex, Any chance to get Iota on other exchanges ? Any possibility to withdraw Iota from this exchange to send it on a wallet?

I have iota, but every time I enter my wallet, I see this coin below, which has passed apart from the bear market, is it advisable to have it yet?

Generate one or more addresses on "Receive" and button "Attach to tangle". The balance should be shown again. Since there was a snapshot this step is necessary. I recommend to follow the blog in order to receive such information.
Also you can join IOTA discussion on Discord to stay up to date.

Don't know if you noticed, but almost every ICO/new project has on its website some DAG/Tangle background, even if most of them are ERC20 tokens. Does it say about the future ?

The blockchain has proven to have big problems with scalability, so now many are introducing dag based projects .
2018 is considered as the year of the dag.
I don't think so, tangle is great technology, but it just apply for paying something, as a paying purpose coin.
I think they just like to use the background to show people the relationship of everyone when join in the network
and more over, dag'll become reality applycation just when price of the coin is stable.

Is this hypothetical or are you currently experiencing problems?

If hypothetical, I've never had problems with Binance. Transferring funds from there usually works fine, sometimes its been congested and withdrawal takes a day or so.

So use Binance if you can get an account ( if you are US citizen I think they have restrictions)

PS. As always - NEVER use exchanges to store any coins long term, thats what wallets are for  Wink
