So the question is, who is going to guard him from the Lakers, Dennis? Austin Reaves, D'Lo? For me Warriors are going to be a bad match-up for the Lakers. They have Wiggins to guard Lebron. And then Looney/Green against AD in the paint.

I hope you guys have realized that the Lakers ranked number 1 defensively since the trade deadline and AD just dominated the 2023 DPOY JJJ. The Kings defense is way below than the Lakers. The Lakers could actually put their normal rotation as is, they are not only defending Curry, but the whole GSW team. This is not a 1 on 1 match, it's a team match - so we don't technically analyze 1 on 1 match ups here.

Nevertheless, this is going to be a good series. Some might have said that the Grizz were a better team than the GSW, but I don't believe that either. The Grizz are so inconsistent offensively, If they can't make their shots it was an automatic L for them. GSW is a much better team than the Grizz actually and they are a much experienced team as well.

The Lakers might've been a better team post-trade deadline, but we are talking about the Warriors here. One of the best three point shooting teams currently, and to back it up, the Lakers are very wide open to their opponents when it comes to shooting threes. They're allowing their opponents to shoot 36.5 attempts on average (25th), and their opponents are making 12.5 threes on average (20th). For sure the Warriors will exploit this problem of the Lakers. Expect them to shoot more on threes than in twos.

Anyway, like you said, it will be a good series, and it's a classic one because we will see Steph and Lebron matching up again after that 4 consecutive Finals match-up. It would be a good series, and I hope that the fans of both teams will be enjoying watching this one. Curry Vs. James Round 5.

However, LeBron knew very well what the Warriors are capable of so it would be up to them how are the whole LAL team are going to adjust with the current opponent who's offensive fire power are greater than the previous one. 
The reason why I brought the Lakers' defensive rating is that, MAYBE they are capable of pulling up another defensive strategy that works for teams like the Warriors.

I believe the winner of Celtics - Sixers series will be the champion. Sixers got a huge advantage by winning the first game. Harden played one of his best games in play-offs and they won without Embiid.

Yes, his performance tonight could be one of the best this playoff, together with Jimmy Butler against the Bucks and then Curry dropping 50 versus the Kings in a game 7 elimination game. That dagger 3 though, to give them that lead was very ice cold.

And there are basketball analyst that is writing off Harden and saying that he is old, but he shows that he still has the bounce and could really explode just like when he was still with the Rockets.

This is just one game though, so many things can still happen in this series, for sure Celtics will have to adjust in game 2. But what's scary is when Joel Embiid is going to play.

A real bummer that the Kings weren’t able to win game 7 against the Warriors. I thought they were going to light the beam and end the Warriors legacy but it just wasn’t in the cards. Steph Curry showed why he’s one of the best of all time and they live to face the Lakers. That should be a great series to watch!

That goes to say that even if the Sacramento Kings are playing like elites, they are still an unexperienced team compared to what the Golden State Warriors have endured throughout the years to be like what they are now. It was not an overnight success for the team, they also had some moments being at the bottom and under the radar. I believe soon enough, the Kings will be as strong as the Warriors if they will retain their cores but I think these days, that will be too much too ask as there many factors that needed to be consider first.

That's why Draymond Green wanted them the Kings to be their first opponent in the playoffs. They might be the 3rd seed, but their experience in the playoffs is close to none. Who're the players who played in the playoffs in the Kings' roster? I guess only Barnes with the Warriors.

Overall, it's a good learning experience for the Kings, and to know that they battled the Warriors for 7 games is already a big achievement for them already. With this, I don't expect them to exit early again next season if the roster will still remain intact. As for the Warriors, it will be an easier opponent IMO. I think that the Lakers are an easier opponent than the Kings. Lakers might've been better after the trade deadline, but their coach is inexperienced. They might have 2 all-star players, but the Warriors have 4. Warriors IMO have better role players than the Lakers. Nevertheless, it would be an interesting match-up to watch with, but like I said the Warriors find this one easier than the Kings.

If only Mike Breen is the one commentating that game, I would've heard the word "BANG!!! BANG!!!" when Harden hit that three in the final seconds of the game to regain the lead by 2.

Harden might've played his best playoff career game in years, but still without Embiid, they will not win against the Celtics. There are instances where Robert Williams is just bullying people inside the paint, and getting easy shots, and if Embiid will not play in Game 2 again, they might abuse this one. On the other hand, this road win by the Sixers might've be a big advantage for them. Just look at the Heat, and the Lakers when they won in Game 1. Heat won in 5, and Lakers won in 6. This one road win for the Sixers might be a reason for them to win in this series in 6.

TBH, I would love to see the Celtics going into the NBA Finals again, but they're facing an MVP this season in Embiid (hopefully), and a former MVP in Harden. 2 MVP's in the same team, and if only Coach Doc Rivers will not choke on this one, I pick the Sixers to win in 6 games.

if how they will adjust tailing all the shooters and make those shots a tough one to release.

I think LeBron as the main alpha here will help not only playing the game but also designing their offense and defense to make

Boston vs Philly surprised me, just as anybody else. Without Embiid they were a huge dog, I think the spread was around 10-12 points. Even with Embiid back for game 2 (maybe) I don't see Boston losing again, this was just a fluke.

It’s because many of the GSW fan hated this guy to the core. Many said he is the one who carry GSW to championship but he is struggling so much on any team that he goes after GSW even though the team that he join has a very good roster even on Thunders, Nets and Suns. KD is really good but he lacks the skills to carry the team in the end without relying to other player that can score when he is not in good shape like Curry and Klay.

KD is getting older so I’m sure that he will request another trade again since he is now close to GSW. Fans of GSW will surely celebrate when KD lose to Nuggets while the team continuously climb to the championship round. KD will have a better run if he is not too full of his self expecting that he can carry any team to championship.

I see that point and there are always critics we can't remove that fact, even KD is a good player, but with how he jumps from one team to another
that is something that the fans are not liking him.

With the expectation that he will add good chance for the Suns in winning the title might be spoiled since Nuggets
is really giving them a tough time leading 2-0 in their best of 7 series.

We will expect more critics as some of them are just riding with the issue to gain attentions especially those so-called sports analysts.

We are here again in the battle of the goat shooter and the Goat (Still debatable), this really makes me butterflies on my stomach once again because Lebron James and Stephen Curry will face in the playoffs once again. I am GSW fan but the new roster of lakers is such a different team compared to their team before the trade deadline, so I think this would give us a great fight, but still I believe to GSW to take down the lakers maybe at 6, especially if Kevon Looney will continue the way he play just like how he play against the Sacramento Kings, he became the hero of GSW this playoff next to Stephen Curry, and if GSW will win this season, Stephen Curry can go up to top 5 all time for sure.

In the meantime, I am really shocked on the 2-0 of Denver against the Suns, I hope KD will stand out next game, they really need them, only Booker is consistent in their team, this is my second team so I hope they may comeback from 2-0.

But the problem with the Phoenix Suns is their chemistry because they are now with KD and they were not playing that long they are in the stage of building some trust, especially in the playoff games like this. If they cannot handle it well, they will gonna blow this chance and might gonna be swept by the Nuggets because right now they are completely at the different level because of jamal Murray.

We will see. Eastern Conference Champion? High chance. NBA Champion? There's the Nuggets or the Warriors. I am not convinced yet as both teams (Celtics and 76ers) have their issues. Celtics had a problem against the Hawks and the 76ers did a great job at sweeping the Brooklyn Nets but Embiid being hurt is something they should worry about. Health will be a big factor to win the NBA Finals.

I am predicting the Nuggets will win this championship this year. The option for their offense is wide, they have good backcourt defensive players too with KCP and Bruce Brown, plus what Aaron Gordon's doing against Durant seems to be working.
I wish I will not be like Sir Charles that is like a curse to predicting winners.

By the way, these two teams faced each other 4 times during the regular season, and the Lakers managed to beat the Warriors 3 times. That seems like a reassuring fact, and I think the Lakers might have a good chance of winning this series if Davis and LeBron can dominate in the paint, grabbing as many rebounds as possible.

I was bummed out to see the Suns lose to the Nuggets last night. I was really looking forward to seeing LeBron and Durant face off in the playoffs but I’m not so sure either team is going to make it to the next round. Darvin Ham's fresh mind will surely be needed in this game and I believe he got a better understanding on the team now and what's needed to be executed so that they can keep up with the Warriors offense and of course, defensive tactics is as important as the offense because they can't win a game if their defense is not that tight.

As of now, Basically everyone around the NBA is picking the Warriors to beat the Lakers, so, once again the Los Angeles Lakers are in a tough position where they have to prove their roster once again because they are now getting tested by the defending champs.

^ I’m not sure I'm part of the Warriors will win camp. I’ll have to see how they do in game 1. The Warriors struggled against Sabonis and Lyles playing the Kings, so if Anthony Davis is on his game the Warriors don’t have a man on their roster that can do anything about it. They Lakers will also show they can defend Steph and Klay. If AD goes off and Steph and Klay aren’t getting open shots, the Lakers should be able to win easily. That’s a big IF though.

And he will be a laughingstock again if in-case the Denver Nuggets sweeps the Phoenix Suns in the second round, which is by the way not that impossible to do especially if the whole Nuggets roster are all healthy. They better do something in Game 3 because the Nuggets already had a 2-0 advantage against them.

And I wonder if that happens, will CP3 remain, or will he force a trade? Not Kevin Durant because I know that Phoenix Suns will not grant his wish because they literally gambled just to get him.

Durant could be accepted this time around though. The warriors move was a weak move and disliked by many, but this one wasn't really like that. Sure Suns is an alright team, but back when he moved to Warriors, that was a team that won the cup one year prior and previous year they had the most wins of all time and lost from 3-1 on the finals, so they were already dominating the league and up until his last year when he got injured, they won every title.

This is why Suns is not the same thing, in order for that to be the same thing Suns had to win at least one title, or even at least finish the league at the top, they didn't do neither of those this season. So all in all I think this one is a bit more serious and could be accepted as a normal trade.

A healthy Murray provides an extra help for Jokic and the rest of the team, with how Murray distributes the ball and how he also

If Suns will push this one to an upset, they need to start now. Losing 3 straight games will surely put them into a place where they needed to bring impossible things to happen.

We still can't conclude this series as there are still games that can change the tempo of a possible outcome. Let's all enjoy both teams' performances.

The second game between Denver and Phoenix was played at night. The first and second period passed with mutual baskets and Phoenix closed the first half ahead 40-41. The 3rd period of the match was again contentious and at the end of the 3rd period Phoenix had a 70-73 superiority in the score. Denver dominated the game in the final quarter. He managed to win the match 97-87 after establishing a 27-14 advantage in the last period. Nilola Jokic was the game's top scorer in Denver. He made a double-double with 39 points and 16 rebounds. In Phoenix, Kevin Durant and Devin Booker were top scorers. The next match will be played on May 6 at Phoenix's arena. I think Phoenix will easily win these two games.
