The Lakers had a big start, but despite that, the Warriors were able to take an early lead. However, the Lakers came back and did not give the Warriors another chance to lead. It looks like Game 3 will be for the Lakers, as there's no way the Warriors will be able to come back from an 18-point deficit after the 3rd quarter.

Looks like the Lakers are all good when they get their momentum early and are able to protect their lead. their defensive strategy was working well and Curry was only shooting bricks on the tree point line throughout the game. If they can execute such a great performance in their next game, the GSW will have a hard time recovering and that's why LBJ and Davis were resting when they got the juicy lead earlier because that's the kind of game they don't want to miss and they need to fully ready and rested for it.

agree here, Warriors started good, but Lakers turned the game and won easily in the end
now up one win in series, and win in next match would close it out for them, since 3:1 would be a hard one for Warriors to overcome, can't see them playing good in strike

On the other hand, the big 3 of the Lakers scored 20+ points to lead their team to win the game, and lead the series as well 2-1. I guess the main key why the Lakers won is they limited the Warriors on threes. The Warriors made 21 three point shots in both games 1 & 2, but in this one, they only made 13, and has a lower attempts as well. The 2 Green who scored 15 & 11 points in Game 2 is almost non-existent on this one scoring only 2 points each.

Davis joined Shaq and Kareem as the only Lakers in NBA history to have 25 points, 10 rebounds & 4 blocks in more than 1 game in a single postseason.
Lebron on the other hand moves to 5th all-time as he passes Kareem in all-time playoff rebounds.

The Lakers need to defend their home court one more while the Warriors need to steal one on the road so that they can tie the series. Let's take note that the team who are up 3-1 wins the series 95% of the time, so it's a must win game for the Warriors, but wait... they also did the almost impossible when they defeated the Thunder back a few years ago when they're down 3-1.

Too much dribbling happens whenever he receives the ball, most of it is prone to turnovers. I don't like that kind of attitude of him and he is playing like they are not in the playoffs. He has the Finals experience he should know better that those dribbles don't give them a score. Also, Poole was supposed to be the third brother in the Splash Brothers but it's not seen yet. Inconsistency.

Anthony Davis is damn good whenever he forces everything in the paint. He should stick with that kind of performance. No one can really block him there and he can dominate the Warriors on both offensive rebounds and scoring in the paint.
What I don't like today is the officials' nonstop whistles, it became a free throw fiesta in favor of the Lakers. I think they forgot this is the playoffs. I like the game 2 more when it comes to officiating.

He has become a liability now with the Warriors, not sure what happen to him, but it seems that he is no longer trusted by Steve Kerr specially in crucial situations, turnovers and some bad decisions.

And they now are down 2-1 against the Lakers and it seems that the Lakers is now the favorite to win this series.

But the Warriors has still that championship DNA in them, so maybe this could extend into another game 7 series but they will have to win the next game on the road.

Personally I do hope the series between GSW and Lakers will go in 7 games because so far both teams are playing amazing basketball with a slight advantage for Lakers in my opinion.

Tonight , 76ers vs Celtics should be one hell of a game with Embiid probably being able to play and he is coming after MVP trophy and I'm expecting 76ers to win. If Embiid won't play...then Celtics will finish this series pretty early.

No disrespect to you, I agree with your points but I just want to point out how surprising we consider Lakers' basketball good now. In this topic or media or even among friends, Lakers were ridiculed a lot this season and last season. Westbrook played great after he left Lakers but he was terrible when he was in Lakers. Also made the team terrible. Especially without AD, Lakers were terrible. But now, not only they reached playoffs, but they are doing great and even have a chance for the title for some people. 2-3 months ago, I wasn't even expecting them to made the playoffs. Similar thing can be said about the Warriors as well. There was a lot of times they were terrible this season but not they play like their old champion self. Surely it is a great series to watch but I don't expect it will reach 7 games. It will indeed be great to watch if it reaches 7 games though.

And up to this point, game 3, they are now leading the defending champion. The funny thing is that the Warriors made that comeback against the Thunder in the 2016 Western Conference Finals, but then the Cavs, led by LeBron, made the exact same comeback against the Warriors in the Finals series. So if the Lakers continue to perform as well as they did in the last game and win the upcoming game 4, it's unlikely the Warriors will be able to repeat the 3-1 comeback again, especially against LeBron.

Jordan Poole is already playing horribly at some games way back in 1st Round of the Playoffs against the Sacramento King therefore why has just now been the focus of adjustment? As a result, Steve Kerr limits his usual playing time and starts shuffling his starters. As I noticed, when Poole is playing for less than 20 minutes on average, he is not performing well. He even claimed that he deserves more playing time like when Kerr put him on his average playing time in Game 1 against the Los Angeles Lakers.

But if we look deeply at the Warriors' situation, is Poole really the main factor? is Poole the one to blame for why the Warriors are not consistent?

Let's give credit instead to Darvin Ham's good strategy last game shuffling players on their defense possession. He was able to take note of what Kerr did on the Warriors' offensive gameplay in the Game 2 win and worked out a good countermeasure. The Warriors are playing horribly last game because the Lakers make them behave like that.

Russell did great in the first half and the other guys on their bench also helped out to claim this win. But what matter is their consistency. Can they do it again in Game 4? Because as I see it, they are on and off and the Warriors will probably beat them if they won't forget to hustle on both defensive and offensive end.
But what makes it interesting is the Warriors have the same problem. Klay Thompson not on his best game and I cannot see the Draymond Green who is also aggressive on the offensive end like what he did against the Kings. They will probably tie again in Game 4.

Gotta give some love for D'Angelo, he did well and he's on fire for the game 3. But there's no doubt that AD was a complete beast on this one.

Dominated the scoring and points and as well as the rebounds. While LBJ also did a lot of points and help as well. I would love to credit also Dennis for having that 12 points.

While the other bench scoring players also, only a few of them didn't contributed. Overall, they really did great for game 3. Two more wins and this series ends.

Warriors have been horrid all year on the road.  If they lose game 4 that might be too big a hole to dig out of.  The Lakers are too strong at this point to lose 3 games in a row.  Crazy how much different the Lakers are after the trade deadline moves.  At this point I'd rather see them vs either the Suns or Denver winner than golden state.
