If Rodman can join the Bulls, why can't Durant join the Warriors?

The Pistons and Bulls were practically blood rivals, but the Bulls traded for him because he filled a NEED...
Not to mention the Bulls had three 20 point scorers on the perimeter( Averaged 20/6/5 in 94 with the Clips)

MJ was ruined by Rodman and the Pistons many times. Yet he signed off on the trade and welcome the rebounding champ with open arms.

MJ new needed more help after choking the year before. 96 Finals proved that.

Not the same situation as Durant.
Stop comparing durant to MJ because MJ is a great player and the best players in the world, durant hasn't prove himself yet and I will only believe he is legitimate when he can win a championship ring.

we can say he is a great player he can't be an mvp is he doesn't winning a ring also doesn't mean he is not a great player but we do have same sentiments no one can compared to the one and only Airness of our life. he is only one and no one can de thrown him NO ONE! lets see and give kd a chance it is just maybe the way he wanted to have a ring so he needed to choose gsw to make it much easier for him coming from the many help from their line up.

Durant is nowhere near the caliber of MJ. He might surpass him in the All-Time scoring list, but that wouldn't be enough to overshadow the legacy that MJ has made. MJ did not switch teams during his prime and stayed with Chicago even though he was having a hard time in his earlier years. He did not win his first championship until he was 28 years old. Once he tasted how it was to be a champion, he pushed himself and his teammates further to make it three in a row, twice by the way.

Everyone seems fine with older guys like Ray allen leaving a bad
team and joining a winner to get a ring

Why cant durant just skip that step and try and get a ring earlier
in life. I actually applaud Durant he would take less money and care
more about winning.

I hate more when a big star goes to a scrub city knowing he cant win but
wants a huge paycheck.

Durant is a type of player that you will bring players around him not the other way around. And they have high expectations for him thats why they critisize him a lot. But his decision is ok for me.

Kevin Durant Left to Oakland But He Really Wanted to Go to the Los Angeles Lakers.

He didn't leave to the Lakers
Not just because they weren't good enough, but also because he spoke smacked about Steve A .Smith opinion, sources and integrity. He really wanted to go to L.A. Lakers, and perhaps he would've gone to the Clippers, but for that the Clippers must've had to move Blake Griffin, which means the team wouldn't be good enough.

So he always was planning on leaving OKC. If he decided to go to the Lakers not only would that have proven Steven A. Smith point to be right, but he'd be in a losing situation. So he moved to the next place available
closest thing to L.A. Oakland California.

Rumors: Blake Griffin to Boston Celtics?

Well for me, sounds good as young Boston Celtics roster must be accompanied by a monster one. And it doesn't hard to play along with Griffin since he has only sole territory and that is the paint in both offense and defense.

It is not like Ray Allen was in his prime when he joined the Heat. And also, Boston was always willing to let him go, as his name always appeared in trade rumors. In short, the Heat gave him more value and assured him that he will never be traded. In return, he gave the Heat that tying 3 point basket and eventually another ring.

As with Durant taking less money, I am not sure about that, not unless $27 million is small for a player who choked his way through Game 7 of the WCF.

Not the same situation as Durant.

Prior to Rodman coming to the Bulls, they were already 3-time champs consecutively. I'm not sure if we can call the 95 playoffs choking, I think it is more of out of shape because he came back during the later part of the season playing the last 17 games without having enough time to have chemistry with the rest of the team and plays. They eventually lost to Hardaway and Shaq tandem. They probably thought that they need someone to replace Horace Grant in the PF position that can rebound like hell.

Even Duncan retired San Antonio is one of the contenders in West. They built franchise on Kawhi Leonard and Lamarcus Aldridge. We can say that Duncan - Parker - Ginobili era is officially over.

I would agree that that specific area is over but Parker is still one of the top PG in the league.

Spurs also signed Pau who is a better player than Duncan AT THIS MOMENT. So they improved there.

Duncan is the best PF ever played. There is no doubt about it.

iam sad is Tim duncan retired, is legend era twin tower david robinson and duncan, is trio duncan-parker-ginobili
but duncun is over year old, is old duncan same is kobe bryant, and kobe is 2 year later is retired

well that is inevitable. And i think its time to admire the legacies they made. There maybe new players but there will never again be a Duncan and a Bryant. Both are dominant in there positions.

Many new players are also making there way to stardom. Most overrated player now is LBJ and Curry. Mostly because of the NBA Finals moment.

About the spurs. I think i would agree that kawhi and aldridge are the new supertars for the team. And maybe new loyal members.

I somewhat agree but it is not like Durant is not getting paid much because if I am correct he gets 27 million Dollar.
So he is getting paid much and I believe that he is going to get a championship.

Probably Not a Good Thing for GS that LeBron is in Their Best Player's Heads

Well that's until the finals, than Curry becomes the 5th best player on the team. Durant is LeBron's western conference D-Rose. Literally The King's very own toilet. GS is going to have Him in the back of their minds all season.

Lebron James is the main reason KD joined the Warriors. Last year In OKC, He realized that even if he got by the Warriors, he gets Rekt by LeBron..

Yeah you can say that Lebron has always been the better one when it came to it during games but to be honest I also think that Lebron always a a better overall team then KD.
Even tho that is no excuse because the OKC where always a championship contender.

This sounds straight up BS but if you think about it, this could actually be true.

Durant: Admitted he's always second to Bron
Thompson: Bron hurt his feeling.
Green: Still dream of Bron's groin
Cuckry: Still having nightmares of Bron staring him down.
Iguodala: Have flashback whenever he attempts a simple lay in

No one can question the skill of lebron and his heart for the game thats why he is successfall player that can brough up a team to win a championship wherever teams he belong and KD have another skill set and the only one he proves and achievements is to become the scoring champiob while lebron got almost overall award as nba player.

Any teams is championship contender and all matters at the couch how he select a fit player for certain plays he wish to execute.

You can day that any team is a championship contender but we all know that some teams are just not at the level then some of these other teams so you cannot really say that they are competing for a championship.
