The standings in both conferences after the recent games:



Rockets are immediately into the play-in area after a series of losses lately. Only 1 win in the last 5 games... This is worrying for their future in playoffs also.

They started to make me feel like they won't progress much further again.    I hope I get wrong. Udoka had better find a way to fix this. They have KD and I would like to see them competitive in playoffs for this reason especially.

Relax there's still 30+ games left in the season i doubt they will not win 20+ more games, i think they would finish like 5th or 6th position at the moment, there are few things that contribute to the record but its alright since its too early, only 34 games there are like 40 games left so safe to assume they will not be in the play-ins if they are that's a problem for other teams, and i want them to face OKC that will be a spectacular match up i think, because of the stars that will collide.

Houston lost to Kings again. This team is going down, maybe they will fall below the 7th seed now. Losing to Kings and Blazers two times each... the team chemistry is totally broken. Also, when Adams goes to screen for KD instead of Alperen, the ball stays with him. Then KD and Alperen get boxed out easily. I think Alperen and the team's shooting is very bad lately. Because of this bad shooting, teams can trap KD in the paint more easily than before.

They had a very simple way of playing, and they are changing that right now. It was usually one more person in, and Alperen posting up, and KD and Sheppard or whoever else as shooter was outside, that way when Alperen posted up, and there were Adams or Smith or whatever else also inside, he could either make a move and score, or one of those perimeter defenders had to come for help and then Sengun could dish outside and KD or Sheppard or whoever else would score.

They did not try that too often, because Sengun is coming back from injury, and they played a very ISO heavy game. With terrible shooting nights, that's a bad way to go and they need to switch back to how they were playing before Snegun got injured, they were pretty good back then.

There are still 46 more games to play for Rockets of course. There is no need to be worried about their regular season placement by the end of the season.

They can finish in top 6 anyway despite these ups and downs to qualify for playoffs directly. The real deal is the playoffs performance.

Will they put more into it this season or not? Kevin Durant has been signed to play more seriously there certainly. I would like to see them doing it.

The surprising thing to me is that the Kings did this to them without Sabonis. When I saw the score I immediately thought that it must have been a result of Sabonis locking Sengun out of the middle, but Sabonis didn’t even play… Houston has some issues to fix and I think it is mostly the result of losing their PG before the season started.

I don't really know how they calculate this, but I won't believe it. He is the 3rd player with the most scores for the Utah Jazz in that game, and the others above him only have -28 below. His stats ain't that bad too.



I think someone is trippin', or they are using previous stats to compute it. It was a bad game for them, and was defeated by a 50+ deficit. They say that ain't a reason to be blown out like that, but they are starless and didn't really have anyone to rely on. Shattered confidence.
If there's one to blame, I think it's the Jazz management.

Ja morant although there are lots of controversy, is more valuable in the market unlike Trae, so for 2 seasons now the griz has not yet announcing they are trading him, maybe there are no best offers at the moment but for sure they want the best of it, since they contending this year, maybe they want a almost same value or better pick position offers which is valid, MPJ seems to be betting on himself not sure if the league has started investigating this players but, were not sure if its true there are just rumors, which players are already given penalties.

If you add Ja, defenses won’t know who to focus on anymore. Ja is crafty, he can create his own shot, attack the rim, and make plays for others. That alone would make life much easier for Giannis. Honestly, the Milwaukee Bucks deserve to have someone like him. He’s not really injury-prone either, and I think they’d improve right away. They just need to surround those two with reliable shooters and the offense would look way more dangerous.

Sure, he can be a defensive liability, that comes with the size. But if he can consistently produce, say around 20 points a game, that’s already a big help. Pair that with Giannis Antetokounmpo, who can give you 30+ on most nights, and on paper at least, that combo should work.

Houston's loss to Sacramento struck me as odd. Houston has lost three games in a row. It's surprising that Houston lost to a team like Sacramento, which has lost seven games in a row. Alperen played in this game and contributed 19 points, but he couldn't prevent the loss. Houston started the game well, but their poor shooting in the final quarter made defeat inevitable. Now Houston has a five-game home series and will face some very tough teams. I'm especially curious to see what they'll do against Oklahoma and San Antonio.

In two of those games Sengun did not play, and in the last one he was coming back from injury but wasn't ready. Why am I saying this? Because the team has to play a certain way and when you ruin that certain way, they get worse, it is not about Sengun, you can remove KD and they would get bad you can remove Sheppard and they would get back.

If a team has a way of playing and you change it, they become bad. I am sure they will get better, their shooting looked horrible, I am sure they won't have that many terrible shooting nights all the time anyhow.

I think Indiana is in a recovery phase. Their win against Boston tonight gave me that impression, but they really need to build a good winning streak. Boston started the game better, but Indiana didn't show the same fragility as in previous games. They played very well in the third quarter and secured the win in that quarter.

In the game currently underway, the Clippers are leading Charlotte 108-100, and the Clippers are in good form lately.

Denver beat Milwaukee 108–104 despite the absence of Jokic and Murray.
I think it was a very important win, especially considering they were missing their two star players.
Milwaukee still has a chance to make the playoffs, but if they continue like this, it will be difficult.

Houston lost again tonight. They haven’t won for three games in a row.
Because of these losses, they have dropped in the league standings.
I really don’t understand what’s going on with this team lately for now, it’s best to stay away from Houston if you’re planning to place bets.

It didn't work because of injuries, when dame is healthy Giannis is injured when Giannis is healthy dame is injured, if they can't play a full season it wont work, its seldom to see players who click right away in a games, they need to adjust sadly dame is already in Portland, again misfortune for dame, when traded again injured, while the team is racking wins, but i think when he returns the team will have to adjust to him or he needs to because its working for them, let see what will happen.

Obviously he is since Ja is pure highlights and more fragile, while Lillard is known for his efficiency on scoring and leadership.

For Giannis much better for him to explore other teams which he think can able to help him to win another championship if he aims that. Since looks like Bucks cannot give it to him, knowing their current situation now. But if Giannis just want stability maybe he could stay more years on Bucks.

That's the third winning streak. They are trying to climb back up the ladder, and I think they can do it. Kawhi Leonard is a monster, and so is James Harden. I even thought Leonard would not play because his status is questionable. I am just glad he played, and my bet for them won without any problem.

They are now in the 11th spot. They just need more wins, and I think the teams above them should be ready because they ain't stopping. It's not really that far to even claim a safe spot for the playoffs. The Suns have 24 wins at the 6th spot, and the Clippers have 16. There are still lots of games to come.

James Harden and Kawhi Leonard continue to carry the Los Angeles Clippers. Together they scored 67 points in today's 117-109 victory over Charlotte. If their form continues, the Clippers will reach the Play-in. Even better, they could make the playoffs. It will require a significant effort, as they are 8 wins behind sixth-placed Phoenix.

There are still many games to be played, but closing this gap won't be easy. For now, reaching the Play-in seems like the most sensible option.

But they're tanking and they have to admit it, they'll never get to playoffs or even a spot to play-in, so I guess they need to really work for Tyrese and Obi's recovery coz they really need that one. In terms of a pick for the next draft I guess they need more than Huff at this point, he might be good at the moment but I don't think he's capable of what Turner have done especially in the last playoff run they have, they need a consistent big that can shoot as it complements Tyrese IQ awareness.
