Timberwolves got a nice win over Cavaliers last night. They actually had a lead by 20 points earlier but Cavailers managed to drop it to single digits.

Still not enough for them. Donovan Mitchell is having an amazing season though. He scored 30 points in this one too. He is one of the players who deserve All-Star undoubtedly.

It’s a 13-game losing streak. They almost got beaten if not for Siakam, and if TJ hadn’t stolen the inbound pass. They’ve fallen so far compared to last year, from being a Finals contender to the 15th seed this season. They lost Turner and Haliburton, but they still have Siakam, who was already their main offensive guy even last year. But if we look at the Celtics, even without Tatum, they’re still doing well and didn’t fall the way the Pacers did.

This is really a sad downfall by Pacers. From playing in the NBA Finals and losing by 4-3 to Thunder to the last position in their conference this season... Haliburton really needs to recover for them to start rising again.

Speaking of Cavaliers, they for me are one of the most disappointing teams this regular season. I mean imagine from being at the top seed on the East last season to now a play-in team. There's not that much of a change that happened on their roster. The undermanned Celtics are even better than them this season. Sorry for those Cavalier fans out there, but I'm disappointed on how they're playing this season... or at least that's not what I expect from them in terms of performance.

As for the Pacers, losing Hali and Turner, their main 2 teams is a big hit for them, but it's for the betterment of the team especially with Turner leaving. They can't sign a player where he can't carry the team and knowing that Haliburton might be out for the whole season, for the Pacers' management, it's not worth it that's why Turner left the team and went to Milwaukee for the sake of... money. On the other hand, let's just accept that the Pacers aren't a playoff contender this season, but when Hali comes back, they'll try to get a reliable big around him and will compete yet again.

Lakers lost at the end of the game to the Bucks. Close one though. LeBron led the team and had a great game. Probably the first time I’ve seen him outplay Luka, who had a bad shooting night. Rough for Bron down the stretch though. Giannis got two stops on him to win the game.

Crazy to see a ref get a no contact injury in the Magic 76ers game. He was wheeled off in a wheelchair.

I didn't understand what the Hawks are trying to do. They might want to trade Trae Young and rebuild, but they could've gotten much better pieces in return. McCollum is a good player, but he's already 35. Kispert is just an average player. Even if it's not on the level of the Luka trade, this deal felt strange to me.

Trae Young could provide leadership to the Wizards' young players, but I don't think they'll become strong enough to achieve real success. On the other hand, the Hawks will continue to go down to the bottom of the league.

I think this is a really great trade for Washington. They got an All Star player for almost nothing. And he is still enough young only 27 years old. He doesn't have any big injury problems. His only weakness is defense but he is a really very good playmaker and good scorer.

Alperen deserves it imo. It's wild how much Houston's offense has tanked without Alperen. Houston is struggling to reach 100 points now, while even the worst teams in the league average way more. I thought having KD and Amen, plus getting Tari and DFS back from injury, would keep Houston steady but honestly they look like a total lottery team.

Considering the team has been terrible since he got injured, it's clear that he is all-star level without a doubt. Would I put him at starters level? Absolutely not, he is not there yet, he is not top 5 west player at the moment, but is he deserving a bench role? %100, I can name so many who doesn't deserve it more than him, dude is a beast.

There are some who got more votes than him but not deserve to be there, so I am glad that votes are not the only thing that decides the all star selection. Not that all-star is cared that much anymore, because of the lack of defense, we had a period where all-star games got as much views as first round playoff games, NBA really losing views. Recently it got a bit better, but not that much, lets see if it will be better this year or not.

Rockets lost once again last night. they lost 3 of their last 4 games. They can't build good plays on the court. Because Alperen doesn't have enough gravity to pull defenders the team can't find open three pointers. They are shooting 8 more threes than their average but with the lowest percentage of the season. Amen Thompson, Jabari Smith, and Reed Sheppard were terrible in crunch time. They made too many turnovers and shot airballs when the game was close.

Man Luka was really bad in this game honestly. Don't get carried away with his being close to a triple-double. 8/25 (32%) is quite bad work. I can easily say he was one of the players who dragged Lakers down in this game...

His 3-point shooting was good this time but for the general of the season I can't say the same. Even though he is 32.3% on three pointers he still insists on going for it a lot of times in a game. This isn't healthy for his team at all.

Yes, it's a great trade for Washington as they needed a All Star player like Trae who can lead them. And as we can see, when he is in the bench with street clothes as Trae is still nursing some injury, he still manage to give some pointers to the young Wizards team. As for the lost of the Rockets, you can see the frustration on Durant as they are in a losing streak. I guess there are still a lot to improved with them specially in defense as this is one reason their coach gives after the game. He was really disappointed on how his team are playing defense and then couple it with bad shooting night. It was recipe for disaster and not even KD can carry the team.

Every players has their bad game even Luka has a lot of this games when he was on Mavs. He can easily make an adjustment based on his bad game and that’s what makes him a good player.

Lebron is doing a good job to cover for Luka but not enough. They didn’t have Reavis and Hachimura so it’s normal that they will have a bad game since Lakers have few options with their offense while defense can heavily focus to Luka.

Olympiakos-Fenerbahçe game was postponed due to water leaking from the arena roof, but this is the first time I've heard of a game being postponed due to condensation. I don't recall anything like this happening in the NBA before.

The postponement was made because it was thought the floor would become slippery due to condensation. I think it was a good decision. Serious injuries could have occurred.

Yeah, this is the first time I am hearing about something like this ever too. I have been watching NBA for nearly 30 years now, and I do not remember a game getting postponed due to "moisture", that seems like the most unlikely thing to ever happen. And even the worst part is that the game got postponed literally just before the game, so the teams were there, the fans were there, the crews were there, media was there, like everyone was at the game when this was postponed. That's sad considering the value lost.

There is an early match today to start in 10 minutes between Timberwolves and Cavaliers at Rocket Arena.



Cavaliers are favoured for the win at home @1.70. They have played against each other once already which was on January 9 in my timezone. Timberwolves won that one by 9 points.

Edwards and Randle were questionable for the game at first but it looks like they are playing. I think Timberwolves can still win as an underdog also.

Lakers are 4-6 in the last 10 games, which goes to show you how bad they are doing. To be fair, even OKC lost 4 in the last 10 but they are doing a fine job overall because of how they were before that streak. In the end, Lakers needs to do a better job, because if they do not recover, they are going to end up with even worse results.

OKC can do a bit worse and they will be still fine, they are far better, but Lakers do not have that. One luck Lakers has is that Rockets lost Sengun, their best player (with Durant) and that is why rockets lost games too, if not, Lakers would have been sixth by now and getting closer to play-in tournament. And they are not too far away neither, just couple games, so they need to be careful.

We watched a good game on Prime night. I hadn't watched Timberwolves and Cavaliers games for a long time, it happened to line up today.
The Timberwolves struggle when Edwards isn't on the floor. Randle and Reid try to bring some energy, but there aren't many offensive options. Honestly, I was surprised to see them in 4th place in the West, because I didn't see a level of play that deserves that spot.
The Cavaliers played a game where they got balanced contributions from their starting 5. According to the commentators, this is a rare occurrence. Jaylon Tyson also provided a meaningful contribution off the bench. The Cavs had missing players and this roster doesn't look very deep. They can't compete with the heavyweights of the East.

Not saying that this is an excuse for the Lakers, but something there is this break of the game that are not going in their way. And as what we have seen, games right now are very close and you can't really blink watching them as there are no lead that are safe now but this makes the games very interesting. So the Lakers will have to go back to the drawing boards again and see what went wrong. But I think Luka is competitive and will not allow this kind of bad nights affect him in the next game so for sure the Lakers will be back.

That was also the first time they lost a clutch game. They were 13-0 before that. I was so stoked in placing a bet for a Laker comeback, but with a bit of hesitation since Luka was having an off-night. Luckily, I didn't lol.

The ending could've been different if the refs called that LeBron drive to the basket with 30+ seconds on the game clock, where Turner and Giannis contested it. Though that was a clean block from behind by Giannis, but Turner reached LeBron's wrist (that was 1st of the 2 stops Giannis did to LeBron). That could've been easily a 2 FT. And then a 3-point questionable foul by Luka on the other end, with no more challenges left.

That got me thinking, coaches should always reserve their remaining challenges in the final minute, especially when the game is very close.

T.Wolves is playing good recently that’s why they are on 4th place in the west. They are just against a hard counter team to them which is Cavs that has a lot offensive players to match them.

Edwards is their main guy and makes a huge contribution in their offense while Randle is very slow compared to Cavs line-up so they are struggling on this game without Edwards that can match Cavs fast phase game.

Ayton was brought to the team not for scoring but for defense and scoring is just a second option, the lakers already have fire power to be honest, and putting Ayton there inside is to be able to stop other teams scoring under and rebounding, but Ayton move slow like he is caring those he has 4 pounds each, Redick already criticized him, but Ayton take it personally and never realized what is purpose and role, its like getting a flashback in the suns when he is called by his coach, he said he did not talk to his coach like for a month if not mistaken or more, and with that there is no problem with injuries the problem is someone is not doing his role as of the moment and acting like they are taking shots on him, not on his performance.

Didn't imagine the Clippers would be that competitive this season, obviously having a healthy and in form Kawhi helps a lot with that. If you look at their recent results it's actually crazy what they did recently. They started the season 6 :21 and now they are standing at 15 :23 , basically reverse OKC right now.
