And that's it. Golden State Warriors now the 2017 NBA champion via 129-120.
There is no announcement for finals MVP yet as of Im typing this but Im sure it will be Kevin Durant. Lebron James on the other hand shows great performance. Just need some adjustments from his teammates. They allows lots of free shots especially at the paint.
Again Congrats for Golden State Warriors fans!

Congratulations to the golden state warriors. The cavaliers did what they do but still lose in the end, Lebron is pushing every game but its not enough, Kyrie with his body is hurting all over again and some unlucky shots to all of the cavaliers players. Like Lebron said, GS is one of the most firepower team he faced in his entire career so I guess lets all wait for the next season. This is one of the hottest thread in this forum maybe because everyone love the game so much. And just like the NBA players did, lets be all professional and always had the sportsmanship among our selves. AGAIN congratulations to all of the fans out there. This is NBA, where amazing happens.

Congrats Golden State Warriors Nba champion 2017. They have a record of 16-1 now in playoffs! Best record so far of a team in a NBA Playoffs. Also congrats to Kevin Durant who won a championship in his 10 year nba career. He is the main man in the GSW lineup scoring 39 points tonight! Hats off to James and Cleveland Cavaliers for playing a good series.
Your finals MVP is Kevin Durant!

Congratulations to the Warriors, and to Kevin Durant for his first championship. The Warriors are built to be good for the next few years while the Cavs will face a lot of uncertainty, and might really need another upgrade if they want to stay in title contention next season. So many things are going to happen this off season, but right now the Warriors deserve all the spotlight, even the old role players like David West and Javale McGee deserve this one. Time to party for the Dubs fans.

That was a great series eventhough it's obvious that GSW will win the Championship. Still Cavs never give up and gave them a tough game(not a Cavs fan). Starters and bench points. All was contributing in offense for GSW.
And for those who said KD is coward, oh c'mon LJ did it first. Congrats to GSW and KD for having his first title.

At the end of the day, Cleveland Cavaliers was not able to match the firepower of the Golden State Warriors. The tandem of Kevin Durant and Steph Curry is simply unstoppable. Credits to Lebron James for giving out his A Game in all 5 games in the finals. He scored 41 points in game 5 but its not enough to stop Golden State Warriors from taking the championship trophy.

Not the best series for the fans, but surely the Warriors are going to take it anyway. Kevin Durant is now among the NBA greats who won't retire without a championship. Some would say that there's an asterisk (for KD) to this championship because he had to switch to a stronger team, but this seems to be the trend now with the player movement in the NBA. Big 3s (and even 4) are the norm and you must have a super team for you to even have a decent chance of winning the title. It also helped that Steph Curry's "cheap" contract allowed them to sign KD.

Congratulations Golden State Warriors for winning the Championship. Bringing KD to Golden State was a good move for them but bad for the league. For the Cavs fans, dont worry you'll be up against GSW in the next years finals. Better luck next year.

I think the warriors will win more championships if Durant will still stay, it is his first season and he already won a championship unlike in Lebron's situation when he joined wade in miami. The cavaliers already had the best player in the planet but they need to acquire 1 superstar and build a super team like the warriors, they need something who are aggressive and can drive the floor, I hope they will consider westbrook if given a chance.

And the last game of this season is the game played yesterday, Golden State delivered a stellar game like they did in game 1 and 2. when Cleveland didn't play very awfully, but the made a great shooting show, This is another +130 pts game for them this series.

In my viewpoint when the NBA starts, in the end of the finals the Cleveland Caveliers and the Golden State Warrior is the team that would fight all through out in play offs. When the GSW are lead in 3 and the Cavs was 1 I must say it's the time of GSW but Cavs fight for it but in game 5 it's in favor of GSW. Good game well played Cleveland!

No one brought Kevin Durant to Golden State Warriors if I'm not mistaken he voluntarily offered himself to play and join the Warriors. But it's a good decision to him and he proved that he is a big fish to the Dub nation. Nba league is just like politics so I don't think it's bad for the league, everyone is free to decide for himself. Congrats GSW!

I think this series and the whole playoffs, even the regular seasons shown 1 thing: this is the age of 3pts. Everyone can see that the defining stat became 3 pt shooting compared to points in the paint and the new effective defense is the 3pt defense... in this age, GSW is dominating singlehandedly with their 3's, Houston and clippers are close but the usual body-contact 2's are getting older and older.

Congratulations Golden State Warriors and its avid fans. Kudos to Cleveland and its fans. Sa mga bitter, better luck next time. KD joining GSW is not bad for the league and every super teams are following the rules. Kung di ito maganda then it's not the teams fault but the league's salary cap rules.

And that's it. One amazing season comes to an end. This season will stay remembered for many reasons: personal records, finals records, domination of one team in playoff... We will remember Westbrook's records in most triple doubles accomplished in one regular season, rivality between Washinghton Wizards and Boston Celtics, domination of Warriors in playoffs, many interesting matches, buzzer beaters and other personal records... On the end, we must say that Warriors won well deserved title and Durant won MVP of the Finals award, his first.

3's are bigger on 2's , obviously players on this era are not tall compared on the past nba player like larry bird, chamberlaine, kareem and so on. That's way it is easy for them to drive or dunk. Unlike now. Players are small like steph curry and chris paul which is not compatible for driving inside court.

Well the game has definitely evolved. We're now seeing guys who used to be post-players in physique shooting the lights out from three. This is perhaps because of the influx of european players and the evolution of current players as well. Great series for this two teams though it's evident that the warriors are completely outplaying the cavs from game 1

Small players are typically have a good flexibility and agility unlike big players which is very slow to react or move. Most of the star on NBA now are good 3's which is the best weapon for a small size player. Curry and Irving is the most incredible player in dribbling that are currently playing on nba. I will miss manu ginobili dribbling tricks and ball passing.
