I don't think that Pau Gasol will be the big three in Spurs. It will be Leonard, Aldridge and Irving. Pau duty their will be a backup for LaMarcus in the center position. It's a good move though for Pau to stay with the Spurs to win another ring if ever Kyrie will moved there. As long as San Antonio remains healthy, I'm sure they will be a contender in the West with or without Irving. But Irving moving will give them a good chance to compete with Golden State for supremacy in the West, but we don't know if Kyrie could be the one that will bring San Antonio another ring next season. This remains to be seen. Can he blend with Leonard in similar fashion as Lebron? Or will he try to be the franchise player of San Antonio that he is hoping he can get? Can he stay healthy? There are still a lot of questions here that can only be answered once he finalized the deal and see him in black jersey with the Spurs. I am sure he can because it is not him who will decide how he will play but it was the coach who is a well respected coach and players are too discipline under him. Kyrie loves to play one on one because he believe he has the talent and I think it will be helpful in the playoffs to compete with other talent but let us not forget that spurs loves to play like a team and they did well when parker was healthy and they could have make it to the finals by beating the warriors if both Parket and Leonard were healthy.

Pau Gasol will sign a three-year, $48 million contract with the San Antonio Spurs. The third year is partially garanteed. The news was reported by Adrian Wojnarowski
Good for pau and hopefully the spurs can resurrect their glory days and compete well next season as it's becoming one way finals for the past few seasons. We need a change and the spurs can build a strong team capable of competing in the finals next season. That great. But based on his performance last season. He is not that impressive. Maybe because he is just too old and competing with stronger and younger talents. Spurs needs a good back up center who's younger and has potential. Coach Pov is the best when it comes to creating a good player. And maybe they should pick some more younger talents because the players are not getting any younger. Kawhi needs a partner. Kyrie is perfect, but i think he is going to Minnesota.

Any insider news on where Kyrie is heading?
Well it seems that kyrie's really on his way out as the cavs are right on signing drose probably to fill the void at least with irving's departure. I'm also curious as to how this will play out. It's said that kyrie would prefer the spurs though i don't see anyone in the spurs' lineup that would be a good exchange.

There's no turning back for Kyrie or the Cavs here so it's safe to say he's as good as gone. I think he will go to the Wolves, a strange destination sure but he and Butler are best friends and Kyrie almost demanded a trade to Chicago predraft. Butler also was in talks about joining the Cavs before being traded to Minnesota so I think they will make the impossible to land Kyrie. The only thing I'm a little skeptical about is that the Wolves won't have any assets to offer. The Spurs on the other hand are eager to unload Aldridge...

Well it is good to see those two play together, but can they bring the Wolves to the next level? I think Irving is better if he goes to San Antonio. Top coach and a good team. I really like him to go to San Antonio so that they can really compete with the powerhouse Golden State in the West.

Parker is old and should be retiring soon and kyrie is a good replacement for him.

I would guess the Cavs would include Shumpert or someone on that level. Honestly as a Cavs fan I love Irving and I'll be forever grateful for his part on the championship but after seeing the last season it appears the "experiment" of this Big 3 is not really compatible. Lebron and Kyrie forced too many shots, too many isolation plays and while Kevin Love looked better this last season, he's lost out there. Plus you already have two liabilities in defense with Kyrie and Love. I thing the team needs a change, if they manage to get a couple of decent assets in exchange the Cavs could be stronger. That's not to say that Irving would be a great addition to other team of course.

I see it's a bad deal for San Antonio Spurs. Only Cleveland Cavaliers will benefit of that trade. Why? Aldridge and Mills both showing good performance and improvement last season and in playoffs. If based on performance level, I will pick Aldridge over Shumpert or anyone around that position on CAVS. About Kyrie, his gameplay is not suitable on how Kawhi Leonard is playing. Kyrie is more on isolation plays, very much different from Patty Mills. We know Popo's system that ball must be rotate all the times if possible which is not the usual system of Irving on the CAVS. Unless this Hall of Famer coach can contained Irving to follow his system.

And I think giving up Aldridge will not be a good idea as well because he is one of the main core of the team. If Kyrie is going to move to San Antonio, he shouldn't be just a one man show and lessen his one of one plays. He needs to pass and rotate the ball. And I doubt that Kyrie would ever change his style of playing so its would be very difficult for coach Pop to really fit him in the system.

The Wizards have signed Potter for 4 year making a $106.5 million max contract making him.the highest paid player next season at $24.8 million for the Wizards all i can say after this move is RIP Wizards honestly i have no idea why teams constantly are willing to pay guys who barely move the needle.
That's a big contract for Potter. I don't know why there are teams that are paying big if they can get some rookies who are playing good. Well we can't interfere with their decisions. It's their money. There's big difference about Rookies and big contract old players. The rookies are under observeation if their performance will click with the season. Because other rookies were beast in their collegiate league but suffering in adoptation in the world of NBA. If the team wants to win the season they have to pay with it. Its their passion every players continuing improve themselves as their dream to bwcime a star. Look on how much Derrick Rose' contract supposed to be in Cavs.. only $3.5 M if I'm not mistaken. But well this is how the NBA management gives contract to the rookies, it's bigger than the older ones. Because they are more powerful and has still strength to play better. Because Derick Rose is not the same anymore. Post injury shows that he's explosiveness is somewhat not the same and plus he is injury prone. Last season he didn't complete the full 83 games if I'm not mistaken and miss a lot of (crucial?)games. If he is the same Rose that we knew when he once burst into the NBA, then he will surely get max contract and still with the Bulls. If he can proved after 1 season with Cavs then surely they will re-sign him with bigger contract. Update: I've read on a reliable page on facebook that today Derrick Rose is about to meet the Cleveland Cavaliers. And as we expect, he's about to sign his contract. It's final I guess. Wow, that's quite big, I hope those injured point guard like D will and D rose will make this team even better. Rose needs to prove if that is true because he is playing with the king. yeah this move is not be SO bad as they will get Kyrie replacement and if they get a good return for Kyrie. I mean there's a really good chance that they will be in a bad situation next offseason, but at least this coming season could be entertaining. News says that the player had his medical at cleveland today so it is more likely to be officialy announced very soon while the Cavs are looking to slavage Irving trade buy getting futurBlue Chip Young Player As Centerpiece In his Trade just like Phoenix Suns did with Goran Dragic. Yes, Derrick Rose is officially a new cleveland cavaliers player. He can revive his career and may be the great surprise this season. I hope he will be able to prove his talent after the unlucky injuries.

There is still no certain team on where Kyrie is moving. But it seems that he prefer to go with Spurs or it's just a crowd suggestion. But if that will be the final move, Spurs will be empowered with him. And there's another player in addition with the strength of Spurs and that is Pau Gasol that recently signed a contract with them.

The idea of Kyrie landing a spot for the spurs is really great since TP is relatively passed his prime already. Kyrie would be a good substitute for him. Though, Kyrie's playing style will surely be change. But, trading LA and Mills. I think it's really bad for spurs, like what have been said. LA and Mills did really have a good season. Both are fit for Pop's style. I think this would really be a bad trade if that will happen for the spurs.

D Rose moving to Cleveland finally is a nail to the coffin that Irving will moved away from Cavs. I hope D Rose can revived his career with the Cavs and help them at least go to the Finals again. I still believed that D Rose has still has it, although he lost a step or two, but definitely can contribute and score if needed. Let's wait and see where Irving goes and then we can discuss if he is a perfect fit to the team he is choosing.
