I see it's a bad deal for San Antonio Spurs. Only Cleveland Cavaliers will benefit of that trade. Why? Aldridge and Mills both showing good performance and improvement last season and in playoffs. If based on performance level, I will pick Aldridge over Shumpert or anyone around that position on CAVS. About Kyrie, his gameplay is not suitable on how Kawhi Leonard is playing. Kyrie is more on isolation plays, very much different from Patty Mills.
We know Popo's system that ball must be rotate all the times if possible which is not the usual system of Irving on the CAVS. Unless this Hall of Famer coach can contained Irving to follow his system.
Good point made. I think Kyrie would have to make a lot of adjustment just to fit on the San Antonio game style. And I think giving up Aldridge will not be a good idea as well because he is one of the main core of the team. If Kyrie is going to move to San Antonio, he shouldn't be just a one man show and lessen his one of one plays. He needs to pass and rotate the ball. And I doubt that Kyrie would ever change his style of playing so its would be very difficult for coach Pop to really fit him in the system. Kyrie is not the star in the Spurs and if Leonard is following his coach then why can't he, when joining a team it's you who will have to adjust and not the team. There will be a lot of changes when he will be playing in the spurs and I think it will be for the success of the team, he is really needed because ever since Parker is not that as healthy or younger than before, their chances to get into the finals are always compromise. The idea of Kyrie landing a spot for the spurs is really great since TP is relatively passed his prime already. Kyrie would be a good substitute for him. Though, Kyrie's playing style will surely be change. But, trading LA and Mills. I think it's really bad for spurs, like what have been said. LA and Mills did really have a good season. Both are fit for Pop's style. I think this would really be a bad trade if that will happen for the spurs. Yes someone got my point. If Im a Spurs I will not give up Mills and Aldridge. Kyrie will just fill the position that Parket will left but what about others that will got affected? Kyrie's goal is to lead the team and I think he will disregard any system here. On the other hand, like I mentioned, Cavaliers will benefit to that trade and the reason is obvious. Most likely, Pau Gasol would probably replace LA's place. Then they sign a replacement center somehow. Mills position will be replaced by TP for sure. That I think will happen, if this trade gonna pursue.

As a Phoenix Suns fan, I want to join Kyrie Irving in my team Phoenix Suns for Eric Bledsoe and 2018-19 Draft Pick. My team line-up will be D. Booker, K. Irving, J. Jackson, M. Chriss ( Center Tyson Chandler). This will a playoff team for the Western Conference! Mark my post. Quote this post!
Kyrie Irving for PHX Suns!
I don't think so, they are all talented players but they do not have the talent to be considered as superstar. Also, what is important is not the players only but the coaching as well, the warriors for example will not be a championship team if steve kerr did not take over the team. Phoenix Suns was part of the Cleveland Cavaliers' "best possible trade packages for Kyrie Irving". So why not? This is worth reading and might give you some fearless forecast about where Kyrie should land. http://www.cleveland.com/cavs/index.ssf/2017/07/cleveland_cavaliers_best_possi.htmlBrandon Knight got injured so I think this will play and may accelerate the trade if all parties are still interested. The one I read (Bledsoe and Carmelo Anthony) to the Cavs was not very enticing in my opinion, I think the Cavs should get more than that for Irving, I would especially prefer some deal with the Spurs (Aldridge, Green, Mills, etc). Carmelo and making a three way trade with the Knicks is still on the table but I just don't think Melo has that kind of value, similar to Derrick Rose, yes, that would be a great addition for the Cavs, but giving up Irving for "only" Melo and Bledsoe doesn't cut it. Either way, if the Cavs could get I don't know...Aldridge and Mills, or Aldridge and Bledsoe for Irving (and maybe another role Cavs player like Shumpert) we can argue that Cleveland could even be a better team without Irving this year... For Cavaliers, like I mentioned earlier, will benefit for the Kyrie Irving trade if the SAS players mentioned above are really those who will involved in the trade. About Melo saga, I don't see he will be a fit to the Cavs BUT if the 3 team blockbuster trade will happened involving the NYK then Cavs should grab the opportunity (of course with still concern with the salary cap). Here's my bet: (based on the site I shared above) Cleveland gets: Eric Bledsoe, Josh Jackson and 2018 first-round pick Phoenix gets: Kyrie Irving Cleveland gets: Eric Bledsoe and Carmelo Anthony Phoenix gets: Kyrie Irving New York gets: Iman Shumpert, Channing Frye, Marquese Chriss and 2018 first-rounder Remember that NBA has many surprises. Sometimes the team that doesn't on the choices is the one who will involved in the trade. Bledsoe is not good for the cavaliers, he cannot finish a season as he is prone to injury. Well, if Melo will land to the cavaliers I think it would be alright to not used Bledsoe since Rose is their to take it's place. Is bledsoe as point guard like rose? If so, then we are full of injured PG there.

Looks like cavs Institution is on trouble since Kyrie is the big missing link to their squad right now and seems they will get struggle to get the crown for this season for this case.

The Cavs ain't gonna rebuild for as long as Lebron is playing for them. They are surely going to maximize whatever they can get out of the Kyrie Irving trade request. Many suitors are lining up and laying down their proposal and it might only be a matter of days before a deal is consummated between Cleveland and whoever they choose as dance partners. All this time I thought it was Kevin Love who'd be the first to go among the Big 3. Turns out he might stay longer in Cleveland than Kyrie, or even Lebron.

They don't have to rebuild but they need to adjust with their new roster together with Derrick Rose. Rose isn't good as the old times, they need to take the time for having the chemistry with Lebron. This is everyone has been waiting for to look for an adjustment and change in roster regarding their hopes to hit again another championship.

You have a great analysis on a certain thing sir! This is true the cavs cannot rebuild the team itself with LeBron in it. They need some backups, not all star, JUST BACK UP. LeBron does not need some best player in the league, he needs good supports on his monstrous offensive plays.

Just like T-Mac. T-mac is a monster back then. But the injury destroys him. But i hope D Rose will back to his play like he was on his prime. He is unstoppable at his prime. Even Lebron and D Wade can't stop him. The problem with D Rose was the injuries. As i saw him playing after he was injured. It's not the same as he was before. I hope we see a healthy D Rose this coming season. I miss his moves and his hang time moves. Man, his hang time moves are sick.

Above all of the discussion here about Kyrie Irving trade rumors, one thing must take placed, CAVS must trade Kyrie after all this drama. Hte only thing that CAVS need to do is to play well with the offer and package they will got.
Kyrie is a big contributor to the CAVS we all know that but in return on trading this guy, CAVS can gained much more contributor because Kyrie surely will received big offers from other team offering their multiple players. It's now up to Koby to play the game on the market and he must bring big returns in releasing Kyrie.

Exactly right, the Cavs won't start the rebuilding process now, that will only happen if Lebron goes to another team (maybe next year but not this one). So in most of the rumored trades, while I think it would be wise to acquire some up and coming talent for this eventual situation I don't think they are aiming to getting either Josh Jackson or the guy from NY. Now, I think like I said in earlier messages that they should aim for getting something more than Bledsoe and Melo for Irving.

I agree with you mate, there is no need of rebuilding of team but the idea they should follow good descipline in order to stay focus in the future and include good trainings on them as well. Teamwork is the key for their success in the future so that they will again hit for promising championship ever. No need for those rosters, the team should regain their strong holds without competitions so that the team will become successful winners.

Any insider news on where Kyrie is heading?
There is still no certain team on where Kyrie is moving. But it seems that he prefer to go with Spurs or it's just a crowd suggestion. But if that will be the final move, Spurs will be empowered with him. And there's another player in addition with the strength of Spurs and that is Pau Gasol that recently signed a contract with them. paul renew for another 3 years right? so it will be a good combo just if kyrie decide to land to spurs, gasol, lennard, irving , parker, green, ginobli if he still wants to play this season super team against the super teams, heard that drose also will transfer this time to cavs in replace maybe for the power of kyrie lets see what would be the final decision coming from those players. DRose already transfererred to Cleveland Cavaliers. Super teams against super teams? But that's not going to be a problem to team as well, Kyrie gave them anyway and traded already so expect the news that is about to make Kyrie as the headline. I'm now focusing with other teams that are not given some attentions like Milwaukee Bucks.

Durant was a good addition but they were so good even without durant and now that they find their chemistry very well it will be hard to beat this team especially in big stage like the Finals.

Cheaper contract $ I guess is what the Cavs is wanted to happen. And I don't think that Rose can play better than before, he's getting older and with the mentioned injury that will make a big difference today. It's like they are adding names in the roster but let's see on how it will give a big contribution to their gameplay this season.
