For Dallas Mavericks fans: (What do you think? Competitive now? Smiley ) Hope they reached playoffs again even at 8th spot. Cheesy

PG: Dennis Smith Jr.
SG: Luka Doncic
SF: Harrison Barnes
PF: Dirk Nowitzki (if re-signs) (announcement just made last April but no signing as of now)
C: DeAndre Jordan

Bench: Seth Curry, Wesley Matthews, JJ Barea, Nerlens Noel, Dwight Powell, Yogi Ferrell.
I think they are a competitive team with this line up but to reach the playoffs, I don't think so. There are no All star player and some of their players are underrated and too young. I think if they can reach the playoffs, they will be in 7th or 8th but lets see in the next season. Happy they got Jordan for a 1 year deal already. Wish they find a good ball handler too. Better than Dennis Smith Jr.
Still the same team I guess, I am not seeing a star player who can consistently score.
Dirk is not in his prime anymore, I hope he'll resign, we have seen a lot from him and enjoyed when he was still playing exceptional.
If Leonard will join them, maybe I can say that they have a chance.

With the current acquisition and roster of the western teams today, its so clear that no one could beat the GSW. The team is so stacked, I dont know why these superstars today wants to have an easy way to get a ring. The competetiveness in the league is dead. Everyone wants to jump in the championship team smh.
The Rockets almost beat the Warriors but the injury of CP3 give them the advantage and they won on against the Rockets.

Now that Lebron is on the West already, we will see a good matches in the playoffs for the Western Conference. I think the Rockets can beat the Warriors for me with their current roster even they got Boogie.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

East is filled with good teams but I don't know how they will play against west ones. Cleveland did beat boston but I think boston, sixers and toronto have great chance in the finals. No matter which one comes out is still in trouble against warriors tho. The only enemy of warriors is themselves, they looked like they were bored this season, they didn't look like they were giving their %100.

So if warriors plays unwillingly and drag their foot during playoffs, houston has a great chance. I know iggy was missing but houston was missing cp3 at a very crucial time. They could have beat the warriors, at least come close to as much as anyone.

Put that dallas team in the eastern conference and probably they have a chance for go a little deeper in the playoffs. But in the west? Nah. With boogie adding to the gsw lineup, a threepeat is a very high possibility right now. Rockets won't have the same chance this year, that's for sure

As a Kings fan I was happy when I read this:

"The Sacramento Kings signed Chicago Bulls restricted free agent guard Zach LaVine to a four-year, $78 million offer sheet, sources told The Undefeated's Marc Spears. The Bulls have two days to match it if they want to retain him."

But, then...
"The Bulls have decided to match Sacramento's $78 million offer sheet to Zach LaVine, league sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski."
 Huh

Oohhh that was tasty. LaVine in the peak of his career. Dont know what the Bulls is thinking but they are letting go a lot of good players for many times. Bad management. Keep the kids and let them get experiences until they get to the Finals.

East is filled with good teams but I don't know how they will play against west ones. Cleveland did beat boston but I think boston, sixers and toronto have great chance in the finals. No matter which one comes out is still in trouble against warriors tho. It is just an equal fight.
Remember, what if Iguodala was there at the start of the fight against Houston? Could have finished it early.
Same with CP3. If he was not injured then they might have took the Finals from GSW. That is why I am always trying to say here. They have to stay healthy. So there will no rumors lurking around like this and no more what if's that will happen again.

With this team they can't reach Playoffs that's for sure. They don't have any superstars, and Jordan can't play alone. We all know that he doesn't make points alone that he needs good Playmaker to play with.
We can't rely on rookies to bring Mavs into Playoffs...
If Mavs stay unchanged and don't bring any new players, I predict them like 10th or 11th place on West.

Carmelo Anthony part ways with Thunder. Good move though. Melo style isn't fit in OKC as simple as that.

Meanwhile, Tony Parker sign with Hornets, also a big loss. He's a good playmaker and scorer. I won't be surprised few years from now this team will have the same faith as Lakers that can't enter the playoffs.

That is an end of an one era. With Tim Duncan retired, Tony Parker going to Hornets and Manu Ginobili most likely retiring this season, Spurs are going into full rebuilding...

Good move as well for OKC as they will save a lot of money. After playing for so many years under coach Pop, Parker finally decided to leave them. He will left a big void on the Spurs, I guess its time to rebuild the team in the next following years. Just wondering what Charlotte can bring to him. I only read that he wanted the play under the management of his idol MJ. It was also reported that Devin Booker signed a max contract with the Suns valued at $158m.

It is a good decision for the Thunder to remove Anthony in their roster because he doesn't give any help with the team. They need another scorer that will help Ninja Turtle (Westbrook) and PG13. I hope they will get a good player.

Parker era has come to an end already when Tim Duncan retired his jersey. He doesn't played too much last season. Maybe he can help the Hornets with Walker with his experience as a veteran but to do some plays, I don't think so.

I agree with that, Parker is injured most of this last season I guess so he is not a big deal anymore.
He is not getting any younger, I think he should resign and forget about that money, I would still want him to resign at the San Antonio spurs.
They are the big 3, Duncan, Mano, and him.

Maybe he still wants to play and have some good money before leaving the game, as we knew that they don't have that luxury when they still
the big three, Parker can still play and contribute even at his age, though it's still good retiring with your former team but players have its own
reason for leaving and playing with other teams.

Tim Duncan doesn't get enough credit for what he was able to do with the Spurs.  He's not a flashy player so he tends to get overlooked.   I would put Duncan in the top 5 greatest NBA players of all time.

Thank God for that Melo decision of the Thunder. They cannot slice the ball on half to give it to Melo and Westbrook.  Grin

I have seen about the Tony Parker signing the Hornets. It is not a loss. Have you seen just how many games Parker played and how bad it is when he is in game? They made that decision for that reason.
He is old and he is still in NBA just for retirement money by now. This could be his last year. Respect for the though for giving the Spurs championships.

Tony Parker's departure from the Spurs is not a big deal anymore so even he left, it's not much of a loss right now. He is closed to retirement and he already gave what he can do for the Spurs. Just feel regret for other fans because it's way better to see him retire as a Spurs.

Time to move on though. As for me, I can't imagined him wearing another NBA team's jersey.

Right. I'm sure that he have gone and think that over and over on his head whether to get out of. San Antonio or not. I'm sure once he retire, he can go back behind the scene at San Antonio's office just like others who remained very close to the team they play at their whole NBA career. Its going to be emotional, but as you have said, he has given the city a championship and even has a dynasty in early to mid 2000 together with Tim and Manu. So I don't expect hostility when he goes back and play at the arena next season with different uniforms.

Ive remembered those days when he do play against miami heat and i can say im amazed on what he do contribute into the entire team. I cant say hes not a big deal or loss of Spurs team once a player moves which do have big or contribute well on team plays would definitely be changed up and just been said its sad to see parker wearing up other teams jersey.
Its much better for him to stay and end up on retirement on the team he got used to be but well its his decision.

Is this has something to do with the Kawhi Leonard trade?

I just got to think of that.
Is this release of Parker got something to do with Kawhi?
Will they keep Kawhi now?
Why Parker?

A lot of rumors now. It could that it is Parker and Kawhi that are having problems within the team. If I am mistaken then they might let Kawhi go also and look for a fresh team.

But I doubt Pops want Kawhi out. They still want a stronger team with younger ones.

Parker's departure is pretty much on the same level as paul pierce leaving boston. They've done everything already and their jersey's will be retired by their long time teams anyway. Not sure about the kawhi drama though. It's taken a long time now and is likely far from a conclusion.

The trade of Parker to another team doesn't impact much now as he isn't playing that much this season and yet they clinched in the playoffs. I wish when his contract with Hornets is over, he and Manu will retire.

For me, its better for Kawhi to be in another team rather than the Spurs. If he will stay there, it will be like Cavs last year and he will be doing all for the team.
