 It is not lebron that makes it difficult but all other teams fighting hard against lebron will cause a lot of wear and tear for lakers since before this year they were just playing but this year they will not just play but compete as well. Also all the commentators and all critics will see lebron making them great chances and if they do not make it, they lose hope in the player. As a player you are put on spotlight to shine with lebron, if you do not shine with lebron everyone will say you won't shine anywhere.

they were dominated. However, the Lakers have not played in the playoffs a long time ago so it's a great improvement once they will play in the playoffs.

Even though Lebron has not said it publicly that he would bring the Lakers to the Finals this upcoming season but that is what the people expected of him. When he was with the Heat and Cavs the teams always appeared on the Finals with Lebron on it. Maybe that is the reason why Lebron's team mate at the Lakers right now are pressured to play well so that the Lakers will be in the final as to not tarnished or end Lebron's consecutive run to the finals.

I like how Lebron is and will ever be the player that everyone expects the most, hes has so much pressure on him and he knows how to take it. On and off the court hes an outstanding player and role model for kids. Magic has been doing a great job as well, he got some role players already and a young bench that can keep up with the pace of every team they play against.

Lakers is a better team now but reaching the finals, that is a lot of effort to do and luck as well, it means they have to beat the warriors.
Once they are in the finals, it seems like it's a guaranteed win for them because they have already beat the best team in the NBA which is in the west.

Young players will play too but I don't think they will play long. For me, I don't think Lakers will go to NBA Finals for now but in the next years they will I think. Lets just wait for the young players to be an all star caliber players.

I will give 50/50 "for now" for the Lakers that they will reached the finals and 80/20 that they will reached Conference finals.

Expectations might be too high for him as mention above the previous post, transferring to west make it more difficult as the team around are really

Until now, there is no decision yet made by Manu Ginobili if he will still play this season or finally hang his jersey for good.

He still has the moves and aside from that, he still have one year left in his contract.

What's your opinion about these guys? Continue to play or not? For me, as long as he believed he can still play, go play until the contract expired. In the first place, he doesn't need to be on the court the whole time every game. If he feels that it's time now to retire, then up to him.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. The Celtis are the second best team in the NBA right now, and they accomplished a lot of stuff while Uncle Drew and Hayward were injured. They have a pretty nice chance to win the Conference, they just have to beat the Raptors, 76ers still need more experience and Embiid needs to get more playing time, until then, this conference looks looked for a Raptors vs Celtics Conference Finals, which the Celtics should win. I really hope for a Celtics vs Warriors series, its going to be fun watching Kyrie vs Steph one more time. Celtics have an incredible defense and amazing home court advantage, cant wait to see them play.

I wish what Lebron did on the Cavs last season will not happen again in Lakers now that most of the roster are young players. I don't think they can play well with Lebron in the first games but as time goes by, these young players must learn something to him.

Celtics as the second best team in the league ? That is a big stretch, celtics is certainly second best team in east but if you think they are better than rockets or even lakers that is not realistic. They may not be even better than raptors at this point, hayward is coming back but he is a wing player and they had great wings last year with brown and tatum already, hayward is overlapping there, the only player they missed out on is kyrie and with him they are not jumping to second best team all of a sudden.

We still have lakers and rockets on west and even pelicans who thanks to AD outmatches most of these teams and even got a game from warriors because he is the best big in the league and all these teams don't have proper big. So, I say celtics is more like 5th best team, after warriors, rockets, lakers, pelicans, probably even okc and raptors.

NBA expected to pass rule changes for 2018-19 season.

To summarize here are the proposed rules:

a) Resetting the shot clock after an offensive rebound to 14 seconds from 24.
b) Simplifying the clear-path foul rule.
c) Expanding the definition of the "hostile act" to more easily trigger instant replay.

Im quiet agree to this (a) as it was already implemented in FIBA (honestly Im not aware that this rule already applied in FIBA for several years now). NBA players are aware of this rule so I think adjustment will not that difficult to them.

Im still studying the rules under (b) as it was new to my vocabulary and system.

Let's see if these will be passed next month. If approved, it will be implemented at 2018-2019 Season.

If we are talking about the young players of Lakers here,  I hope so that someone from them will be confident to showcase their true skills while playing alongside with LeBron with no pressure and intimidation at all. LeBron needs that kind of teammates.

If talking about the veterans, with the attitude of Rondo and Stephenson I think they will not become a Cavaliers 2.0 teammates wherein they will rely mostly on LeBron in terms of playmaking, ball movement, attacking the paint etc.

I think these young players are excited since chances of playoffs appearance is now within their reached. Not just them but the whole Lakers nation. Their last playoffs appearance was way back 2012-2013 season.

I don't see them adjusting to the plays that they have but Lebron, the King, Adjust for them. Lebron James is a great, an excellent player the reason he is called "the King". A lot of supporters follow him the reason there are a lot of players being boo-ed and being blamed saying that they are not adjusting to the playstyle of Lebron but I think Lebron is adjusting to their styles but just can't keep up the pace.

You guys are missing the point. Playing with lebron is not hard on the court, on the court he tries and manages to make life as easy as possible for you, he does like 99% of the work for you. Playing with lebron makes it harder outside the court. The critics and people online all expect these new young players on lakers to actually come up and do great things.

Look at what happened to previous players lebron played with, all of them are gone now, none of them are big stars, because if you play with lebron you are bound to win and if you fail to give a proper performance everyone will judge you. Kyrie got out just in time and he played amazingly during the 2016 finals and as soon as he saw that it was really unfair to expect him to play like lebron he got out.

Playing with lebron means you have very little window of bad games, if you do couple in a row, people will judge you and tell you you are worthless and a bad player.
