[...] How do you guys think the Lakers finish this season? Are they a 70-12 team or not?
I do not think they should target that. They are not actually a very young team. They better do load management for their key players when they can. Lebron needs it because of his age and AD because we all know he is prone to injury. Staying healthy and more prepared when April comes is more important than beating GSW record.

I didn't mean literally a 72-10 record. What I meant was can they top the wester conference? though I forgot it's not the best record anymore since the 2015-2016 GSW have done 73-9 record lol. I guess every team is aiming to be on the top seed to compete a weaker team in the first round. Avoiding too much effort just to get passed the first round and avoid being stressed out that might end up into an injury. Load management depends on the player if he will take it or not. AD needs it since he had history of injuries.

Once they are already having a comfortable rank, they can rest their stars and I believe they can afford that as long as either Lebron or Davis will play when one is resting. They might also do some load management like what the Clippers are doing to Leonard, Lakers with the way they show, they will already entert in the playoffs and playoffs time is where it matters most. It will be a great story in the NBA since Lebron missed the last playoffs and now he will be in the playoffs and giving his team a championship.

They can enter in the playoffs, that's easy but winning a championship, I don't think its that easy. First, they will have to eliminate the best teams in the West like the Clippers, Jazz, Denver, and Dallas (let's add that one as they are rolling lately) One they win in the West, they might also face in the NBA finals, either the Bucks or the Sixers, but I think its likely Sixers as they have a lot of combination in the team, I mean a lot of stars.

The last game against Mavs Lebron take the challenge competiting with young Doncic. The focus is between this two superstars and for sure it's pride of both players to show everything that they've got in order to satisfied the fans. But luckily for Lebron the past to Green save him and snatched the game.

Lakers had the momentum, they are in a winning streak so they probably continue that here.
Yup! Especially knowing the fact that they might become farther ahead from the others if they defeated Spurs. From 5-1 to 6-1, that's a huge inspiration to work harder . he also trust his teammates a lot which I think they will again dominate the inside
That is also what I noticed over the years while watching Lebron play. He is now more of working with his teammates rather than doing "I am the King, I can do this on my own" plays. But in all fairness, he still manage to shine despite of competition from his fellow All Star teammates .

Dallas is not really bad but the west is so stacked that there is no way they could ever compete with anyone and that is the trouble with teams who are in the middle like Portland and now Dallas. You know you are not good enough to win a ring, you know you are not bad enough to get a draft pick neither so you are stuck at the middle where you are not getting any better but you are not getting any worse neither just mediocre for years.
Portland has been there for years, for the past 5-6 years or so they have been a first round team, they managed to make it to conference finals but even they didn't believed beating the warriors themselves, so whats the point of being that good? Whats the point for Dallas? If you are not winning the ring then what are you even playing for?

Wow! That is some hardcore analysis. Every team have their chance and they are also building confidence to fight for that ring. Who even thought that Dallas could win against a strong Miami Heat before? I dont think there is that much except for the real Dallas fans or the Lebron haters once again. All of them have chances and now might be the team. Dallas is one of the powerhouse team also but the 2 superstars are still building their chemistry. GSW won their championships because of that "chemistry" before they are even called stars. Curry, Green and Thompson. That is also some hardcore effort and the will to win only.

The thing is, the west is full of major forces of nature. And to include all things up, the arrival of Kawhi and King James made it all spiced up. Probably if you're not winning any ring, you're probably just playing for money and fame. Many players don't speak like this but, some of them are really into money. I forgot that there was a contract on a player in which he can receive $500,000 if he can maintain a certain percentage at the three-point line. So, before the last 4 games, I think he was at 41% 3 point FG, and then those last games, he didn't shot any threes. That's one of the evidence that they are playing for money. If not, for fame.

Did someone watched the game of Detroit Piston against Chicago Bulls yesterday? I mean it's Derrick Rose and it's his hometown. He get's standing ovation from Bulls crowd to chicago return, that feels of how much they love D. Rose and a sign of comeback in chicago continue and end what you've started on us. You should know that Derrick Rose only loves the city of Chicago not the team itself. Remember that they are the ones who lost faith in him that is why he got traded away which has started him to become a journey man in the NBA, his injury ruined his career but the team itself ruined his heart. I doubt that he will return to the team without any kind of organizational changes for the team, remember that when Coach Thibs left the team and went to Minnesota he was quickly recruited in there to play, and he was really the one who he is chasing. Without him or any kind of familiar face in the Bulls I don't think he will be wearing their uniform any time soon, maybe in his retirement or so. Yeah it was a perfect fit. Rose was absolutely unstoppable before the knee injury. Its a shame really, when he came into the nba his style of play was as blue collar as chicago itself. I know it's a business but was surprised how quickly the bulls moved on from rose.

It's easier to say and criticize than to be in the actual situation though. That might be one of the lapses from the coaching staff.
I'm rooting for Mavericks on that game but not blaming anyone especially the coaching staff. Of course, we as a viewer can think of a good way out of that crucial situation however we aren't pressured compare to those people who are actually on the court. These guys are professional but sometimes there are really times that they can't make a quick decision, not because they didn't think of it but actually they have another thing in mind. That will be seen in the tape afterwards. So let us not give all the bad thought about their coach.
Yes it will surely be addressed and they will charged it to experienced. Second thing: It's very clear on the replay that Howard grabbed Curry, a clear offensive foul that wasn't called. What's the use of replay by the way, Los Angeles Cheaters!?

And signing with the very popular nemesis of bulls can also be a sign of big frustration from the team he once gave everything that he had. DRose love's the fans but I can agree that the management didn't extend their faith for him, with so many advance methods of therapy they can easily rebuild his basketball skills, those injuries are being workout and with how he's conditions showing its simply bringing the old DRose in shape.

It's too early to say this. Every team can be at their worst and at their best. I wouldn't analyze them unless it's the near end of the season but now, they're still starting out and there are more games to win for them. I'm not a Dallas fan but each team struggles since every team is upgrading.

That's not impossible, they only have 1 loss so far, and they are getting better and better after their first loss. Eventually that chemistry and bond within the team will improve and that will help them comfortable of their individual role. Lebron James is leading the team now, he already tally a 2nd straight triple double and he both won with that. We know its still too early, but my judgement is just based on the signs I see. Hard to judge though, but I wouldn't be surprise if they put numbers like that. If they continue to improved and then really blend well as a team then they can chase perhaps the best record in the NBA. But we have to look at other angles though, teams are getting stack up as well, so possible but difficult, in my opinion.

It's a matter of experience bro, of course when these teams reach the conference finals or even the playoffs, their young players cannot coup up with the pressure and choke. We've seen it many times. But does winning championship only the benefit a team want? Of course not, there are huge revenues from fans if they reach the playoffs and that alone is a huge success for their respective states.

Then they need to improved, and continue to play, one secret is to surround the team with high level athlete and the some role players. Portland has been there for years, for the past 5-6 years or so they have been a first round team, they managed to make it to conference finals but even they didn't believed beating the warriors themselves, so whats the point of being that good? Tell that to GSW, they have Mullin, Richmond and Hardaway in the 80's but the management/team wasn't deter that time, and waited till Curry, Green and Thompson to give them a NBA rings in 2014-2015 to build a dynasty.

What we are seeing right now is completely a different Lakers compared to last season, but this also proves as well that Lebron can't bring this team without the help of another superstar, but anyway, regardless, as long as they will win this season, it will make the fans happy. No warriors in the Finals, not even in playoffs, so they have a chance.

The Golden State Warriors is suffering this season with the absence of klay Thompson and Steph Curry and the bad performance of other players, from 6 games played they just won 1 game! And tonight they will face Portland Trail Blazers and I think it will be another defeat for the Warriors, I will bet for Portland To win this game.

Good luck, Portland Trail Blazers is the betting favorites here so they will likely win against the Warriors at a decent number. Warriors are going to play desperately to please the fans because they haven't won at least one game yet at home, and this is their new arena, I don't like to think that this new arena is unlucky.
