It sure does. Iguodala's manager/agent knows how to leverage his client's past achievements. He is also well rested now and his championship experience could help his new team come playoff time but I still think the Miami Heat is taking a huge gamble also here IMO. But hey, who knows if they can be able to knock off one of the East's favorites (Celtics, Bucks, 76ers, Toronto).

Heat is actually in good position now at the 4th spot.
The addition of Butler and rookies stepping up made it happen.
Now this, Iguodala might boost the confidence of this young players and will have a better knowledge on how a playoffs game should be.

 There is an issue with why Blazers are playing so good right now and all of that is thanks to Damian Lillard. He is not playing againts scrubs neither, dude is playing all-stars and still doing amazing stuff, he is shooting from the logo, he is looking like Curry of 2017, wouldn't be shocked if he beats the 3 point record neither. However there is a problem arising with a player playing that good when a team wins. If a player plays that well and you win, you never know if you will win without him playing that good as well. So if Spurs holds Damian to a low point number or makes him miss a lot of shots, than maybe they could win an easy game? Dejounte was a all-nba defense player before his injury, he hasn't been that good since he returned but at the same time we can't really say he is not capable of doing such a thing neither.

 This game will be decided based on how Damian plays, if spurs can shut him down than spurs can win, if he is not shut down and scores a lot , blazers will win.

I don't get the Winslow one there, I mean I get that Miami wants to attract Iggy and they are willing to pay him more than he deserves at this age, however that doesn't change the fact that they gave away Winslow for him. I understand he has been injured and all that but dude is very very young right now and would had a great potential if he stayed there.

I doubt it is "do or die" season for Miami to make this kind of trade, as long as they can keep Butler on the team, they have great rookies under great rookie contracts so they could just let the team fly for another few season and grow together, this Iggy trade is a lot like a team who wants to win it all now and I am 99% sure they can't even make it to finals of East let alone win the ring so this trade will be one of the "did it for no reason" trades in the future.

I know that Justise Winslow stat-wise is better than Iggy but if we are talking about him being able to suit up in any game then you know Winslow isn't one of the sturdiest players in the NBA. So far he only played 8 games this season and when he played his first game coming back from his injury last month he didn't do well and the worst thing about it is he re-injured himself. Other than that his last two seasons are also plagued with both long and short term injuries related to his back and knees. If we are talking about their usability here in the upcoming playoffs I don't think a talented players that is injured could ever help a team win some games.

I think denver beats both of them.  Barring any major injuries I think denver is the team to beat.  Call me crazy but they have the grit to win those 7 game series.  Last year they had a good year but disappointing loss in the playoffs.  My guess would be denver vs the bucks in the finals.

I know that this deal would happen especially when in the long run they can't have two point guards running the show, Russell was really meant to be traded by the Warriors after they signed him and I think Minnesota have ruined GSW's chance of getting a better deal out of it. Now Towns will be playing on the same uniform with one of his best friends, this was really a good trade done by the management especially when Towns got saddened by the Covington trade.

Now Towns will be playing on the same uniform with one of his best friends, this was really a good trade done by the management especially when Towns got saddened by the Covington trade.

I believed too that Russell was bound to trade during the early phase of the season but the way he performed and now catching up on the Warriors way of playing, I think that plan now changed.

Who's the winner of this trade? For now, in my own view, it's the Timberwolves. But for the next season, it will be on Warriors. That 2021 1st round pick is so important and Warriors surely take chances there. Next season Curry and Thompson will surely come back and I think Wiggins will be placed again on the market.

I'm now getting more interest for that future pick that Warriors will get. They are preparing for a big return!

We will be able to see how the Rockets would play now, tomorrow they'll be playing against the Lakers on the road, so we can tell if they are really effective with their short center. Westbrook is still questionable but hopefully he will play and it seems like Davis are also the same status as Westbrook but it's nice to witness if all these players are available in this game, Lakers should dominate the paint area here.

Seeing on how the composition of Rockets are mainly forwards against a team composed of giants, I guess Rockets will have a difficult time against the lineup of Lakers. Without Westbrook and an effective center position, Lebron and McGee will dominate the paint and at least control the area enforcing more defense on the 3s. Many people have speculated that Lakers could be the champions this year and their hard work and determination prove that they are the main contender for that spot.

I know it possible but for +15 lead, the odds on live betting were just around 8 to 9 and its Nuggets. I will understand if its a low team on the bottom. Saw it on fiat bookies so it's different in crypto sites? I think they just have the same odd provider as a reference or maybe around. Odds 10.31 is really high to me but lucky to those who able to bet on that. They were able to get a big profit.

Dlo at wolves now, hopefully he can change the current situation of the team, they forget to win anymore so with his arrival, maybe he can provide some spark. I can also see that the Clippers will only get stronger now that they have Morris who has been a good inside and out players.

Meanwhile, we are seeing the Rockets now giving some good competition with the Lakers, it seems like they don't have any problem without Capela.

Iguodala's vast experience and reliable defense (but yet to be seen this season) definitely made the Heat trade one of their young guys and that $30M two-year deal. Surely he can be helpful with this young team, I'm just not sure how he and Jimmy will blend together. Maybe I'm just overthinking here.

I still cannot believe how Iggy changed from a high flying offensive guy to a defensive one.
He is definitely a valuable piece for GSW back then.

Not everyone can transition like Iggy. I guess the presence of both Curry and Thompson made it easier for him to just focus on defense while providing offense when needed.
