You’re kidding right? There’s no way they don’t make the playoffs and it’s doubtful LeBron will be out for very long. They’d have to lose their next 7 games in a row to be in danger of falling out of a playoff spot. I think it’s unlikely LeBron will be out that long and even if he was I don’t think they would lose every game without him while the Warriors win every game. They could probably play .400 ball the rest of the season and wind up with a good seed.

There's no timetable of his return yet but as per report, there was no fracture but only a high sprain ankle, so that means he will be back soon and for sure it will be this season.

LeBron James has been diagnosed with a high right ankle sprain, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
X-rays performed on the ankle Saturday afternoon did not reveal a fracture, but the subsequent MRI did reveal a high-ankle sprain. As a result, James is considered to be out indefinitely per the report. How much time he misses will depend upon the grade of the sprain. A Grade 1 sprain could keep LeBron out for up to two weeks, with the time out increasing with the severity.

The main reason why Lakers became a champion last season, particularly in the Bubble is because of Davis and Lebron James. These two will be missing in action for a while so definitely it's expected that Lakers will struggle, on the other hand, it will also give a chance for the other players to step up their game and try to win games while their 2 superstars are out.

Time to show some of other players what they got but I think Lakers is still competitive without these two and they shouldn't be treated as if they are not a threat. Though we may see they'll struggle I think it will not be that huge feat I think they got some role players out there like KCP, THT (might be the one that got LBJ role), Schroder, Gasol and much more or even Kuzma might take LBJ role.

They are but as I said they will still be a threat and for sure they'll do what they can even just to get that spot in the playoffs.

Man if those guys will get some winning streaks without their 2-star players, that would be huge for both the players and the Lakers. They should know how hard it is without those two especially in the last 2019 season where they didn't get to the playoff when Lebron got hurt and they didn't manage to preserve or get a spot on top 8. Now if they won't gonna get some wins without them, their spot will be taken and that would be hard to get once the playoff is close.

Let's worry about that when they posted a long losing streak.
They gave the strong Suns a good fight until the 3rd quarter. They might still be able to defeat teams in the lower seeds.

That is only a tactic so that the other team would release him pretends to be a burden, once he is hated the team will dispatch him and the nets will sign him, I feel that he cheated on his former team and they don't deserve that because he is being paid, I feel bad for them, I hope he gets the championship because if they don't get it this year I'm pretty sure he will be release after.

I'm impressed with the dunk but not his overall performance because he only scored 2 points and I think that's very uncharacteristic of him. Not sure also if he really cheated his old team but I think he is showing the real him, why would he underperform when he is still looking for a good salary?

It's expected because its the first game without Lebron, eventually they'll adjust and hopefully that would result to a win. The competition in the West is also tough, so they can't just accept loses easily, instead they need to find a way to improve and win some games while Lebron is out.

This team is not a shitty team, they can play and they can win without Lebron.
Next game is against the Pelicans, I think this one is also hard as they will travel to play on the road.

Obviously they really need LBJ in the line up as he is their leader. And Suns take advantage of it, and although Lakers did try their best to get closer and even win the game, it's a tall task for them. As I have laid down their next 4 opponents, in my previous posts, chances are they are going to end up with 1/4 win maybe against Cleveland only.

They lose against the Suns in a big margin, that it not the right definition of competitiveness. We will only know that once they win a game, counting has started 0-1 without James.

Blake griffin was once an exciting player, I followed him when he was still with the Clippers and I remember he won a dunk contest so getting a dunk in a game is just normal for him. he is not getting any younger but hopefully slowly he can get his confidence back and he will start contributing big time to his time now.

The same issue now haunts LeBron as his MVP award is now in jeopardy. It would be a shame if these injuries kept LaMelo from the ROTY and LeBron from the MVP and it looks like they very well may. Both will have to come back healthy before the end of the season and put in some work to get their just rewards.

RIP to Elgin Baylor. He was one of the greats. An NBA legend for sure.

That's for sure that they're weaker without those two. I think it's tolerable if it's only AD that's gone but LBJs influence on the team is bigger than what we can imagine.
