Blake Griffin just signed a one year deal with the Celtics. Seems like the Celtics are the team for veterans to try and win a chip with now. I’m not so sure they’re the team to beat in the east. I think the 76ers, Bucks, & Nets all have better teams, but with Nash being strict on the old guys maybe the Celtics are the only place willing to take the old ring chasers. Hope Blake has a good season. Last year was a bit embarrassing.

Young and talented players plus a player who isn't in his post-prime years yet (he is only 33 years old) and with Gallinari getting injured, I guess the Celtics found a replacement in Griffin.

With Coach Udoka out this season, many have doubts with the Celtics already. Will they repeat their previous run? Will they repeat what they did last season, but now with a different head coach. Questions that will be answered during the Regular season.

Right now, I think the 76ers are the better team to win right now in the East. I believe that Harden, Embiid and Maxey will be a good trio and add Tucker who is a great role player and defender. I also have doubts with the Nets as well. Will the chemistry as a team there after the drama that Kyrie and KD did? Will Simmons play the whole season and is there any changes in his playstyle? Let's just see during the regular season but I'm predicting the 76ers to win the East. Too early .

I am doubtful about the Celtics as well. With coach Ime Udoka not being there, I think it will take a huge toll on their performance.

The Philadelphia 76ers team looks really good. The quality of the team is better. So, I am expecting a good performance from them. Almost all the other teams seemed to have some kind of problems between themselves and the Nets players had a lot of drama going on with the team. All these things suggest that Philadelphia 76ers should be the best performer going into this season.

Yes, it's at least expected that the Celtics will play blindly without coach Udoka's guidance, they are expected and forecasted to be hungry and more stronger this season but their situation has changed suddenly because of the predicament they are now on. We'll see if this new head coach will lift the team, I've heard that he doesn't have enough experience when he's still acting as an assistant coach.

For the Sixers, I bet they'll bounce back strong this time and take advantage of the situation while the other teams in the league are also struggling. Embiid, Harden and Maxey is a trio that can't be easily bullied.

Milwaukee Bucks VS Memphis Grizzlies SCORE 102 - 107

Even though it was a close match both star players from both teams didn't play Giannis Antetokounmpo, for the Bucks and Jo Morant for the Grizzlies, although Brook Lopez and Jrue Holiday played for the Bucks they really don't to much but still, I think this has pushed them to win the preseason game, but as I have said preseason games isn't really that important it doesn't matter what has happen to the game, but I love small details even if its just the preseason,

The game is not that interested when the superstars aren't playing because we can't really feel the intensity if the lead players aren't there. But these pre-season games are also good because the other players in the roster can establish their skills to the public and it's a good warm-up for both teams before the season will start, formally.

Also, just like what you've said, pre-season games don't really matter so it's not really embarrassing if Bucks or Grizzlies will get defeated. But speaking of embarrassment this pre-season games, it's hard not to mention the Phoenix Suns because they got defeated and bullied by a non-NBA team named Adelaide 36ers especially when the trio of the Suns was there playing. Can't really imagine what the Point God, CP3 felt after the game.

Teams performance for the NBA season entirely depends on their pre-season practice games inother to suit themselves and getting ready for the big games ahead. Teams like gaining winning points in games, Phoenix suns one of my favorite team and I believe that they will go far this season, afterall they have always put in their best and they're one of the leading teams in the league. Phoenix have good set of quality players like Booker, Ayton and Paul, they're good trio and amazing pairing for the team.

Looking forward to seeing Ben Simmons make his debut with the Nets tonight for their first preseason game. I don’t know how many minutes he’ll get with KD and Kyrie, if they play at all. I have not heard of any new players joining the Lakers who are young and have great potential. LeBron James is getting old and it is obvious that his age is taking a toll on his performance. Looking at the Lakers team right now, we will see good experience and good players who have been around before. Anthony Davis is probably the only player who is reliable but I don't know if he is someone whom you can build a team around. Russell Westbrook and LeBron James are just too old right now. The Lakers are obviously going to have big changes in the future but till then it will be interesting to see how they can perform.

Yes, Anthony Davis is a player whom they can build a team around. Maybe Lakers will keep him for long even after Lebron James retires. It's not easy to find a big man like him who can shoot outside, has good freethrow percentage, and can-do post up plays perfectly.
It could because of what happened before when they have Lonzo, Randle, Kuzma, DLo in their roster, it failed, and it traumatized them to repeat that kind of mistake again. That's why they are not recruiting young guns.

No doubt he can be effective, probably one of the best centers now, however, if he gets injured most of the time, that would make the Lakers struggle especially in the playoffs because it was very evident that without Davis they cannot win against good teams in the NBA.

Hopefully this season to come he will be able to play more games, especially in the playoffs where he is needed the most.

It is likely that he will be the most important player for the Lakers if he can stay healthy. The only problem is that he is quite prone to injuries. The only reason I said that he is not someone reliable around whom a team can be built is because he is quite injury-prone. There is no doubt that the Lakers need him this season because without him I believe that the Lakers are going to be a failure in the playoffs this year. Furthermore, he is not an old man either. As a result, he will be able to provide his services to the team for a longer period of time. It is at least a long period of time compared to LeBron James and Russell.

Well, guess what? The season haven't started yet but Anthony Davis is already probable to play because of back problems and together with the 2 players from the bench namely Walker and Brown, the Lakers released an injury report for their pre-season game against the Sacramento Kings. If Davis will be like the most of the times, they need to start in forgetting Davis and find another reliable big man because they can't put all that load on Lebron's shoulders. His talent is very useful for the Lakers but what will that talent do if he's always on the sidelines because of his never ending injuries.

Agree with that, they are a team that can afford to sign superstars, so why would they start with the young guns? They were able to do that with Kobe, he got O'neil, and when O'neil left the team, they got Gasol and Odom. Now that they have Lebron James, they'll make sure that he will be surrounded by great star players and they won't mess up again this season for sure.

Lakers are a big business organization, so they are capable of hiring and signing players and every piece that they are needed
to be there and be a good, competitive team.

Like both of you, we already did it before and they can redo things if they need to do it. We will see if how they will perform
this season if they will come up with good chemistries and good bond together.

Well, actually 39ers played with good teamwork compared to the Sun, so they deserved that win, but then again, it's just preseason, not a serious game.

I am pretty sure that most of the players in Suns probably were out drinking and having fun instead of care about a preseason game after all. This is friendly like we have in football and we all know how unimportant they are as well, so I am not really expecting Suns to play with serious win desire, they just wanted to go around and have fun and take selfies with the fans and maybe more.

That's why they lost, it was just for entertainment purposes and there were no incentives to win it and they had fun and came back. When the season starts again, we will see how good they are again and they will be fighting for each win, when it matters.

I don't think that they are done though with the experiment, it's that after Gasol left or those part of their winner team, they haven't seen the perfect fit. There's so much expectation with Howard join, but we all know what happened, they break up. Until Kobe retires and they were able to just get so-so players. Lebron and AD comes, find the perfect pieces, win a ring. Then they let most of their support cast for reason, try to rebuild last year but it was a failure. Now they added new faces they years so let's see if this is a success or another failure.

They traded Kuzma and KCP to get Westbrook and went for a 3-superstar lineup without supporting roles and they got punished by that move. They even let go of Caruso who was phenomenal in their championship run. He was good in offense and defense but the lakers tried a cheap offer on him and he walked away. That were 3 good players the Lakers let go that could have meant another championship for them.

That's the trade that LeBron wanted to make, so they appeased him.  He now wanted to dump Westbrook for Kyrie but it seemed like the Lakers organization wasn't willing to pay the tax/fees involved to make it happen.  They said no to LeBron, which I think is probably the second time that's happened to him in his career.  I wonder if that will be enough to send him searching for another team again...  The irony is that the Lakers wanted to get DeRozan instead of Westbrook, but LeBron and AD wanted Russ.  Then DeRozan goes on to have the best year of his career as an MVP candidate while Westbrook spends the end of games on the bench. 

No way the bets were going for that anyway.  They know they are a good team with Durant and kyrie on the floor together.  Will that happen a ton this season, who knows.  But I don't buy all the news that Nets would have dived into that trade.  Durant and russ back together, all they would need would be Harden back lol.

Yeah, this is pure exhibition game so everyone is just having fun from the side so we shouldn't take the lost for the Suns very seriously. Actually for true fans of the game, we understand it. But the social media though, they turn it into something very bid and make fun of the whole Phoenix teams.

Adelaide 36ers Vs Phoenix Suns

Adelaide 36ers had a really enjoyable game. Both passing and shooting in this game were really entertaining. The movement on and off the ball was great from the players of Adelaide 36ers.

The Adelaide 36ers have shocked the Phoenix Suns, many are really criticizing what just happened and thinking the Adelaide 36ers are a new team in the NBA so why did the Suns lose, or commenting that he is ordering a jersey from Adelaide 36ers, Or the Phoenix Suns just underestimated the Adelaide 36ers, and they are not serious about the game, Craig Randall II and Robert Franks both got their 30 plus score for the game while Devin Booker and Chris Paul had terrible points or they are because it is just Preseason they are not performing their best, but we can not push this up so much like this is a big deal this is preseason game and I think the Phoenix Suns might be holding up, but adding this up my boy Kai Sotto only 20 years old is having a great time there making 11 points for this Preseason game against the Suns,

Philadelphia 76ers vs Brooklyn Nets

I think it is going to be quite an interesting game. The Philadelphia 76ers feel like the most complete team heading into the upcoming season. Nets, with some of the recent moves they have made, do not convince me that they are positioned to be a very effective team moving into the upcoming season. But obviously, this is going to be a pre-season match. So, I don't think that the teams are going to be overly concerned about this one. But it will be interesting to see Simmons' debut.

I will not think so much about this matchup because this is a preseason game and this is the time their benched players have a chance to got to show their skills and talent for the game,  and Ben Simmons is now on the Brooklyn Nets team and will be playing against his former team the    Philadelphia 76ers and right now James Harden will be playing as well against Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving but I do not expect much action and for both teams to be using that much their Ace players, for this preseason games this is likely going to be a Bench player starting game, then a small percentage of their key players just to see their chemistry with each other,

Yup! I really don't think much about the Preseason game for the NBA and It really doesn't matter for them to lose the game aswell but showing their bench players their ability for the team and putting up teams up that the team also isn't using much and seeing their chemistry as well,

I guess that's the big difference with his previous team, he now have reliable teammates offensive wise. Durant and Kyrie already have enough fire power to overwhelm their opponents. His role will focus mainly on facilitating, slashing, and defending. That is a great relief on his side that there is no pressure for him to hit it outside.

But for personal and career development, he should develop that part of his game. It will be useful later in his career when his athleticism starts to decline. 3 points and perimeter shots will give so much value in his game. He will not be a 1 dimensional player and opponents will have a harder time defending him. He would be less predictable.

Defending Andre Ayon in a low post is already a big experience for Kai Sotto even if it's just an exhibition match.

That kid really got that damn improved for years. I do remember him when he was still soft as a tissue. He really stays focused and disregards his critics during the time he was still new to the international game.

I hope he will get his NBA dream.

Simmons showing he is no longer allergic playing basketball and start playing that he can hoop again. Lets just wait if the pressure wont get to him in the regular season because the Sixers fans still hate him they were booing him when he did free throws "missed both".

Well, some might still think that they might be a championship contender even after what happened last season to them but what about Ayton?
Do you think that Ayton is still happy after what happened last season? Watch his interview with journalists regarding him being asked if how and Coach Monty's relationship right now. You can see in his face that he isn't happy, and he only says, "I'm Ok" or "It's Ok" etc. etc.

I believe that Ayton's relationship with the Coach might have an aftereffect on his performance though the effect of it is minimal, I guess. Paul is 36 already. He might past his prime, but I think this might be his last chance to win a title or his performance and efficiency might decline in the next years.

Brooklyn Nets starting to look like a fun team to watch again.
The first five are Irving, Durant, Claxton, Simmons, and Harris. I am just glad to see them all back and healthy again. Harris is feeling it who made 2 threes in 15 minutes.
Simmons defensive help can be seen and Irving being a playmaker will be a game changer for them.
The 2nd team looks solid too with Patty Mills, Edwards, Morris, Royce O'Neale, and Sumner. Seth Curry didn't play yet.
A win for the 76ers without Harden and Embiid. Their roleplayers are pretty solid too.
