It's the system that gives each players that same chances to showcase their talents, lucky for Alperen that he's being sorrounded by players who can work with the system and a coach who really knows how to execute their design plays, I agree with you he's a superstar in the making, just need to take care of his health and hopefully not to suffer to any major injury, there are many opportunities if he continue to play harder.
This team is not expected to play like how they played this season. I think they'll improve more in the seasons to come. They are still young with an experience coach who promotes better team play than individual game, I would no be surprise if next season or the next, this team will become a playoff contender. They have a good PG, and this guy Brooks brings a lot of energy to the team, if they keep themselves healthy, they'll be able to help this team to grow.

What a comeback by the Cavs against the league best Celtics!!! Down 22 points in the final quarter and then going from 71:93 to 103:99, that's actually insane!
At betfair or some site where you can get super high odds I think odds of 500:1 or even more must have been sold, at least a bit.
Well, never give up is kinda fitting here. Just WOW.
Yeah! crazy turnaround and the rally was led by someone who's everyone is not expecting, Dean Wade turned into D-Wade as the NBA announcer described it lol. It took him a lot of confidence shooting those 3s in the 4th and lucky he was feeling it, that's what Dean Wade told the media in the post game interview. Well, I hope nothing but for him to be consistent and earn more minutes. The Cavs might gonna use his ability on the coming games moving forward. With that kind of odds, there might be a lot of people who put a bet on the Cavs since this team isn't a bad team this season sitting at the 3rd spot in the East, and these people might be overwhelmed by the outcome today. No words to express how lucky these people are, but WOW! Yes, announcer is calling hi D-Wade, but it looks more of a Kevin Love like performance, hitting those outside shots, even contested, and maybe the Celtics didn't expect that they will make that great comeback. Unfortunately, I'm not one of those who do the live betting, I thought that the Celtics is going to win because there is no Donovan Mitchell and he is reduce to a mere cheering player in the sideline. But don't understand the Cavs as shown in this game as they are capable of fighting back even if they are down 20+ points in the last 9 minutes of the 4th quarter.

They still have the chance of getting a spot in the play-in at least. I have high hopes for the Rockets in the next seasons as well. They should be able to at least secure a clear spot in the playoffs next season. Great coach and Sengun has superstar potential in him. Dillon Brooks is also a good fit and is boosting their confidence. Hopefully, former top 2 pick, Jalen Green steps up as well. I thought he becomes a star because he has the potential. He's also a high-flyer but it seems like he is having a hard time adjusting in the NBA.

Alperen Sengun! I love how that guy plays. He ain't selfish and he can make impossible plays too. Just watching his highlights will make one think he is an All-Star caliber. Well, he will be someday. They just need to polish all their skills as a team and I bet they will be fearsome in the future. Anyway, what a game in Denver earlier. I thought the Nuggets could win that one because they came back from a 22-point lead deficit. The Suns, especially Kevin Durant was so hot in the first half that I thought it would be over in a blowout but the Nuggets pushed hard in both ends of the floor to take the lead. But KD made a three that put the game in overtime and that's where it ended even though they are Nurkic-less after fouling out in the 4th quarter. Still, that's one heck of a comeback from the Nuggets, could've been better if they won the game.

The winner of the match against the Lakers vs. Warriors will play the loser in the Mavs vs. Kings. The crazy thing is that the standings of these teams are just close to each other. One loss and one win can affect their fate in the upcoming playoffs. We include the Suns in here too, as they are just two wins ahead of the 7th seed. With a few games left in the season, every game counts for these teams.
What do you think will be the final spot for these teams?

Houston Rockets is a blooming team, they may not join this playoff season but who knows what they can do in the future. They still have a chance though if they can win in the play-in tournament. That's why the Rockets gave him a good contract despite the bad publicity about him... And the Rockets are getting what they paid for, he might not be able to provide the offense consistently to the team but the kind of defense he is making and the energy he is bringing, it's enough to make this young team a tough team to play with. Alperen Sengun! I love how that guy plays. He ain't selfish and he can make impossible plays too. Just watching his highlights will make one think he is an All-Star caliber. Well, he will be someday. They just need to polish all their skills as a team and I bet they will be fearsome in the future. He is still young, all he needs to do is to deliver his skills and stay healthy. Time will come, he will become as the star player of the team, and of course he'll get a max contract. The rockets are not paying much on their players, I think the player with the biggest paycheck on the team was VanVleet, so maybe the salary cap is still not at max. Alperen is making over $3 million this season. Big increase if it will happen. https://www.spotrac.com/nba/houston-rockets/cap/Anyway, what a game in Denver earlier. I thought the Nuggets could win that one because they came back from a 22-point lead deficit. Still, that's one heck of a comeback from the Nuggets, could've been better if they won the game. That game is very unpredictable, Nuggets were down big, they were able to comeback and even lead but the game went to OT. During OT, I was thinking they'll continue their momentum but turns out they ended losing in double figures.

To be fair Alperen was in discussion for being an All-Star this season, he failed to participate by thin margins but he was definitely voted for it by the fans. Which means that Wemby played against an almost all-star player and he was in foul trouble as well. If he wasn't in foul trouble, he wouldn't let Alperen score this much, and he would have scored more himself.
This isn't a post to defend Wemby or anything, Alperen really showed him how weak he is, and just bodying him up was good enough for that. I just meant the difference would have been a bit smaller, like instead of 45-10, it could have been 30-15 for example, that would be realistic approach. Alperen is seriously the future of Rockets if they can keep him, dude is a beast.

Ya, if the play-in started today it would be one hell of a tournament. Those are all teams I follow and enjoy watching, not to mention they’re all very close to my market. Toss the Suns and the Clippers in there and it’s basically every NBA team surrounding me. I’m sure it’ll change over the next 21 games though.

I agree, it's really hard to predict the games, Lakers and Warriors are former champions and they have a lot of battles in the finals. Lebron and Curry still wanting and hungry for another time. This might go on a 7 game down the wire and as if this is the NBA finals that we are watching. Homecourt advantage will be big here. Same with the Kings vs Mavs. Luka putting incredible numbers, but the Kings have the deep bench, with Fox, Sabonis and Monk, anyone of them can explode anytime and negate Luka's triple double and same with the Lakers vs Warriors, will go on 7 games. But I will go with the Kings here as they have more offensive weapon as compare to Mavs who rely more on Luka and Kyrie.

The west does seem like more the wildcard at this point. The east seems like it's relegated to either Boston or the Bucks. I really can't see anyone else truly challenging. Sixers are interesting because embid can straight dominate but injuries. But 1-10 in the west it feels like such a coin toss. Gonna be a good playoffs out west this year.

True. Teams that are currently in the play-in can take out any team that's in the top 6. I think Nuggets is the most balanced team and will come out on top of the dangerous group. They also have enough experience unlike the Wolves and Thunder. The east seems like it's relegated to either Boston or the Bucks. I really can't see anyone else truly challenging. Sixers are interesting because embid can straight dominate but injuries. I still would not count out the Heat. They've been the dark horse and they've eliminated those three teams on a number of occasions now.

Sure, the Celtics and Bucks literally dominate the regular season. However, I agree with you that we shouldn't dismiss the Heat and other Eastern Conference teams. It's worth keeping in mind that great results in the regular season don't guarantee any success in the playoffs. So even teams like the Cavs and Magic could surprise us in the playoffs.

There are a lot of indiscipline star players that have not lasted their career in the NBA, but LeBron, you'll never hear news that he came partying and making some noise on social media. Instead, he focuses on helping people, building gyms and schools for the kids, so that alone shows how matured he is and kind in thinking of a way to give back to the community.
LeBron may not become a GOAT in the NBA as he always has a lot of haters, but we can't argue that he'll always be remembered as one of the greats once he retires. You see, LeBron is already 39 years old, but if you look at his last 10 seasons in the NBA, his PPG average has never dropped to 25 below.
We can all agree to that, We don't see Lebron James do such suspicious things in his life because he is not showing it publicly if you are a well-known person, and 1 negative trait that the media would tell about him will surely ruin that, and even though he has done some charity works in his life and even if he seems so matured in his entire career that doesn't mean that he will gain the Goat status and even though he got a tons of Haters because it will be determine on his achievements in the sports that he loves, But I agree that he will be remembered as one of the legends in the sports with that many records in his reputation but the all-time greats still belong to his airness Michael Jordan. In my defense I said what “may” be the western conference finals matchup. I’d agree that the Timberwolves have just as good or better of a shot to make it. Definitely not OKC though, they’re a first round exit. Check out this highlight from the Jazz vs Wizards game yesterday. Probably the best play of the year so far. https://x.com/thepettiestla/status/1764848403920597142I understand why you are saying such things but we can surely be biased with the teams that we like I have a couple of teams that I like right now and the players that I like aswell, and I truly understand what you meant and I really think it is OK, but there are tons of fans hear that will surely get frustrated when talking about the finals for the NBA, as this is a heated topic right now, and as the Suns won against the Defending champion without Devin Booker.

Who would forget the Heat? This team is proven to be a great team in the playoffs, so Bucks and Celtics should fear them as it's a different kind of game in the playoffs and they might be upset again. Well, there's this Magic and Cavs but they aren't proven yet, they need to make it to the playoffs yet and see if they could pass the first round. I'm sure Heat are not going to end with a good standing, so most probably in the first round they'll be the underdog and I'm excited what team they'll play and will cry.

Big win by the Warriors against the Bucks. After losing 50 points at Boston, they had their own version of dominant win as well by beating Giannis team. A 35 point win at home, they are now back and let the winning streak start, this should bring a lot of confidence to them.
On the other game, we also have the Lakers who have a strong start but have collapse in the 2nd quarter only allowing the Kings to scored them 44-20..Lakers have really struggled, I don't know if they can still make it to the playoffs with this kind of inconsistency.

I admit Dillon Brooks really brings energy to the team if he brings a positive vibe to the team he brings negativity to their opponents I really think that is what he is doing, a buff for both teams and their opponents, well this is Dillon Brooks after all and we are aware of his antics and I don't think that he will change in his way for sure, but I really think he is doing great in the Houston Rockets.
The West and the East both have their ups and downs so you can not say that the team in the top will make it up to the finals or win the championship this season as last season was really a Roller Coster of a ride for the NBA and the teams like the Miami Heat that was almost under the last seed still gets into the Finals of that season we can say that we can not say something until we are sure if a team would get into the play-offs or the finals, but yeah those teams on the top surely is doing well and they are sure to get into the play-offs. mostly I really like the Denver Nuggets to win again in the finals this season.

I trusted Alperen Sengun to help with my same game multi-player props and it won. Nice! Yummy! If only I added more stats for him. That is one heck of a night for the big guy. Another triple-double for Sengun too. They may have lost that game against the LA Clippers but they sure did give them a hard time to claim that win. Sengun was all over the floor and scoring in the paint was way easy with his fantastic moves and soft touch. Another player who helped out and stepped up his game is Cam Whitmore. That dude made some good highlights today. Still, they really lack the firepower while the Clippers have so much option for their offense.
How about the Golden State Warriors? That's a big win for them and Steph Curry and the crew showcased how good their chemistry is. But the highlight of the game was Trayce Jackson-Davis. From defensive plays to offensive. He blocked Giannis twice below the rim and then sprinted on the other end to receive a lob from Steph. They are really playing well in their last few games when they are complete. The teams above them should be careful because they might steal their spot if the Warriors keep on winning.

^^ Congrats mate, that's juicy win for you. Yeah, been seeing that highlights, that timing when he block Giannis twice and then running on the floor for the huge dunk to push the lead of the Warriors. And I think that was the story in tonight's win by the dubs, they forget about their huge lost against the Celtics, comes home played Giannis who bet the Clippers come from behind style. But the dubs didn't let that huge lost be in their minds. And with the Lakers losing to Sacramento, they push themselves in the 9th spot and now chasing the Mavs for 8th. Gonna be interesting ending in the West for the last playoff spot and then teams going for play-in.

They have a good PG, and this guy Brooks brings a lot of energy to the team, if they keep themselves healthy, they'll be able to help this team to grow. Yes, not bad for the Rockets so far. They choke against the Clippers though. They have a big lead in the first half, 20 points in the first quarter alone. And whenever the Clippers will comeback, Sengun and others will have answers to the Clippers. But their lead was slowly eaten by the LA in the 4th quarter. Kahwi and PG find their range and the Rockets can't answer this time. I think they have a bright future, organizations seems to be great, it's just this is the first time that they have to play with Brooks and VanFleet so chemistry will have to be work on and maybe next season will be different for them. Their coach as well is very good so let them have this experience for this season first and then we will see improvement later.

Yes, if only Joel didn't get injured, it will be a good competition as well in the West, Boston, the Bucks and the Sixers trying to fight for the top spot. But it seems that Boston is taking it already, they are ahead by big margin and the Bucks losing tonight against the Warriors to also snap their winning streak after the all star break. And with that huge win by the Warriors, they are still in the playoff fight or at least play-in. But it's not that big difference in total wins in the West as everything can change in a month as who will make it straight right in the playoffs.
