Not a Celtics fan but I have to disagree that Tatum or Brown is hype, I would agree that they are the best duo and Luka and Kyrie is late into the picture. But the later exploded this playoff so I think their names deserves to be in the same sentence with Tatum and Brown.

I'm saying that they are not overhype because they were able to bring the Celtics into the finals already, but the experience and the championship DNA of the Warriors that time was too much for them. Now, they are the one with the experience, but still with Luka, this series is unpredictable.

But I am against it. I like hearing the voice of Redick on sports news and his being a coach means he won't get that freedom of speech anymore as a basketball sports analyst and media. Also, I think he is too young and he might not get the respect that he wanted if he starts being a coach.

All coaches are starting as an inexperienced one.
Steve Kerr also started his coaching career on the Warriors and immediately made an impact with the team winning 4 titles in his whole stint. Ime Udoka lead his Celtics to the NBA Finals in his first year alone. While there are some coaches who ended up being a good coach in their own teams, there are some who really coaches who many people don't like like Darvin Ham with the Lakers, and Steve Nash when he was the coach of the Nets.

As for JJ Redick, he can try to be a head coach for a team like the Lakers and the interaction between him and Lebron on his podcast himself increases the chances of him getting hired. TBH, I don't see any coaches that is fit with the Lakers aside from him. If you will add a coach that might get hired as the new coach of the Lakers, who would it be? I mean it's just your opinion. As for Coach Thibs' contract extension, he deserves it because of how he lead his Knicks team in this playoffs. I just don't want the fact that he uses his players the whole game, and will not let him rest like what happened to Josh Hart where there are times where he played every single minute of the game.

The journey to the NBA Finals might be very easy for the Celtics because the all-star of their opponents are injured, but we know for the fact that the Celtics are one of the best teams even before the season even starts. For years, they have been at the top 5 teams to win the title. As for the Mavericks, I agree with what you said that we don't need to underestimate them because we already saw how the duo of Luka and Kyrie dominated their opponents especially Doncic. The question right now is, how will Holiday and White lessen his performance in every game.

Also I want Dallas to win since their backstory is more good that Celtics since this will create a lot of stories and will stay up for long. Brings me back memories when Kobe says that jobs not done and they really still have to work even though they just won the won, that's mamba mentality. You mean Dallas have only Luka and Irving, but still that combo is potent, in their closing out games against the Wolves, both score 30++.

But for sure Dallas cores will work together as we see how they perfectly work together as a team. Also I want Dallas to win since their backstory is more good that Celtics since this will create a lot of stories and will stay up for long. Luka deserve to get his first championship and Kyrie also deserve to get another championship since there's so many challenges he pass through before he get into their current position.

Still boils down on how Luka will carry the team. He is still their franchise player and Kyrie their second best man. And so with that Luka need to shoot a high percentage and then involved his team mates with his unselfish play. Maybe we can see him putting triple double or double double performance here.

I really can relate to this, waiting for the NBA finals to start. Since Mavericks versus Boston Celtics is an exciting match for this finals.
I believe there will be some sleepless nights for some countries as the times of the games are different for some countries.

I can relate. I switched my focus to other sports and played Bingo while waiting for this series to happen. It will be more boring when Game 1 ends as there will be 3 days of rest before Game 2.
I was also confused, if I remember correctly they said it would happen June 5 Eastern time but I guess it's either I saw it wrong or they moved it one day.
Anyway, 2 more days of exhausting wait and we will see how these two strong backcourt teams will collide. 3 more nights for the NBA fans in the Philippines.
