This unwritten rule thing, why would they stop player from scoring?
Why would you even give up you have been pay to play not give up the game, even if its 20 point lead, the people go there to watch you, if you wan't to win, you have to do your best so that other team won't score on you, if you don't want them to score why give up, for me this rule is useless.
You don't want them to score play defense.

I don’t agree with you. There’s really no reason to rub it in once the game is over. it just shows you don't respect the other team. Plus, starting unnecessary fights and drama only hurts us in the end. It makes people question team's reputation in the league. I think that was totally unprofessional.

It’s customary but not an official rules so we can’t control a situation like that on the game.

If this is a big deal to teams I believe they should just suggest to make this unwritten rules to become official. There’s always a player like to be a jerk whenever they have a chance to do that.

What players will do is based on their own decision making. I don’t like it too but there’s nothing to do to stop it unless it becomes official rules.

I would agree with this have this written as an official rule, no disrespect to others, but i see player disrespecting players not guarding them during regular plays leaving them open, i think its also form of disrespect, but when on the other way around you just give up, on defense because its over, there's still time, do back in defense, winning or losing if there is time its not over, the respect come after the game, shaking hands thanking everyone for the game, that is respect for me, all the bad blood during the game disappear.

The Thunder’s dip in form is real, but let’s be honest… that’s mostly because the San Antonio Spurs somehow have their number. At this point, Spurs vs Thunder feels less like a matchup and more like a glitch in the matrix — OKC sees San Antonio on the schedule and suddenly forgets how to play basketball 😭.

But lately, they haven't just been losing to the Spurs. Overall, the Thunder have six wins and four losses in their last ten games, so you could say that lately they've been playing like an average team. Nevertheless, they still remain in first place in the standings, although their chances of surpassing the Warriors' record have become significantly less.

They won against the Sixers, I wasn't able to watch the game though but it looks like the Thunder is back again as they destroyed and won by 25 points. Maybe as what we have said, the San Antonio is their kryptonite specially with a player like Wemby that Chet can't match.

As for the Alvarado vs Williams, it's just the spurs of the moment, we all know how competitive Alvarado is and doesn't want to be push around. But him swinging means that he could be suspended.

As the 13th seed in the West, they managed to beat the No. 1 seed in the East. The Pistons didn’t even take the lead, not even by 1 point. Kawhi and Harden are both averaging 26 points this season. What do you think could be the reason they’re still the 13th seed? It seems they need another reliable scorer so the offense won’t depend only on them. Just like today’s game, even though they won, looking at the score, more than half of the scoring came from them.

The game between Oklahoma and Philadelphia ended 64–62 at halftime. I thought to myself, “Could this be another loss for Oklahoma?” but Oklahoma took control of the game in the 3rd and 4th quarters and won by a 25-point margin. The final score was 129–104.

The Toronto vs Golden State game went into overtime. Toronto dominated the overtime period and won the game. Golden State scored only 5 points in overtime, which is an incredibly low total.

Los Angeles teams finished the night with wins. The Clippers extended their winning streak to four games and will play the remaining four at home. I thought the Detroit game would be tough, but the Clippers secured a comfortable victory. Their next game is against Sacramento.

The Lakers also easily defeated Sacramento. This victory ended their three-game losing streak. The Lakers will play three more games at home. Detroit could be a tough opponent, but they are likely to comfortably win their games against Memphis.

Giannis really showed his true colors in the final seconds of today's game against Bulls. That time Chicago players had already given up and stopped defending but he chose to drive hard to the rim for an unnecessary dunk. And after that chaos began. after sparking a heated confrontation he simply walked away leaving his teammates to defend him while acting as if he hadn't started the whole thing in the first place. Really shameful.

TBH, I'm kind of in between when it comes to this "unwritten rule" that these players are implementing.

I can't think of any reason as to why these players are still scoring despite the fact that they're winning the game already aside from stat-padding. On the other hand, I also can't think of any reason as to why the opposing team or the losing team will act like that in the dying seconds. Respect? Maybe, but for me, as long as there's still time, the game is still on and any team can still score.

As for the rule being useless, well that might be true, but the "sportsmanship" side must be applied because they knew that they already won the game, and scoring beyond that point is pretty much useless already. Anyway, I'm not siding any of this. I'm not pro or against it, but most of the players doesn't want it for obvious reasons. At the end of the day, we have different opinions when it comes to this "unwritten rule" that these players are imposing.

Even without reaves the team cruise to victory that is good meaning they can still afford now , so that players like him can rest and be ready in the playoffs, they should not force everything , because when they get all injured in the playoffs thats gonna be a problem good to see Hachimura, king and Luka is playing well hope luka will never experience something, i want to see them all healthy in the coming playoffs and see where are they heading, seems the clippers are getting into groove but how long khawi and harden need to push.

Thunder really needed this win after 2 losses in a row which were both against Spurs.    They didn't have much trouble against 76ers who didn't have Embiid as well.

I'm glad to have watched Clippers - Pistons too. Kawhi must have made his best effort so far. 55 points, 11 rebounds! Not only that. 5 steals and 3 blocks shouldn't also be overlooked there.

Especially his performances in last 4 games have been amazing. All of them ended in wins for Clippers. There are even teams like Pistons, Rockets and Lakers among them.

I'm glad to have watched Clippers - Pistons too. Kawhi must have made his best effort so far. 55 points, 11 rebounds! Not only that. 5 steals and 3 blocks shouldn't also be overlooked there.

Kawhi is this productive when he was motivated. The real problem is when he was facing an injury problem. He will not play for a long time and his body needs a lot of game to tune-up and be this monster which cost them a lot during the playoffs.

Clippers will have a chance to redeem themselves with this oldies line-up if Kawhi will be consistent on performing like this since he can motivate his teammates like Harden to step-up and contribute too for the team.

That is one of those days that he might really felt good shooting the ball and hitting it. And after Jokic's historic run as well against the Wolves with 55 points, comes Kawhi as it turning the hands of time and go full mode like in his prime years.

Might felt good for the Clippers to see Kawhi performing after that drama involving him and the owner himself. But it looks like it's a non issue as we haven't heard him and Ballmer talk about the issue in public so it could have been closed already.

To be honest OKC wasn't that dominant. It was head to head in the first half but they lost it in the 3rd. The coach subbed out Maxey and Adem even though the score was tied and they were playing well. He put Drummond in and the lead just exploded. OKC finished it there.

Hmm, Kawhi is 34 years old, with his body I would say he still is in his prime. If it wasn't for the countless injuries he would have had a career high like this a long time ago actually. Still not a fan of his, cause of all the strange stuff he and his team (meaning the guys he surrounds himself with, not the basketball team) pulls. It's a nice little accomplishment for him but I would rather see the Clippers lose.

Such a great player but a career full of serious injuries... Kawhi Leonard got injured for 3 weeks in last November too. At least he didn't this December.

I wish he was younger now. He would still have a chance to start over maybe. He would contribute a lot to Clippers' rise maybe.

But he will still be remembered as a very talented player. Just unlucky with injuries.
