To be fair, he flops a lot that’s why basketball view already assume that everything he is showing is just a drama. It’s like the story of the boy that keeps on lying until no one believes him already even though what he’s telling is the reality.

Bron build his career with lots of flops same with SGA which they both capitalized since refs do some bias calls with them.

I don’t expect much about him on his current age but I do acknowledge his skills during his prime as a Spurs fan which he is the biggest hurdle on championship way back when he is on Heat.

I agree with you, leBron and SGA flops a lot to the point that it's just being an petty attempt to get a free throw to get points and it removes the competitiveness in the game that instead of doing real work to score, you'll just flop to get some easy points, I think they are really utilizing it since it works a lot and it's being part of strategy. But he's a great player in general and he even surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most field goals in this match so, it's actually a history.

Though it's not pleasing to some but as long as they are getting what they've need then those known stars will continue to bring that playing style, I also remember Harden before he's also great in fishing those kinds of fouls but refs is no longer buying it so Harden needs to adjust, but with LeBron and SGA they still getting good calls from the refs and convert it to an easy basket.

Is LeBron still getting the same treatment from the refs? It doesn’t really look like it when you check his stats now. I mean LeBron is getting older, maybe he still gets some respect calls, but his efficiency isn’t the same anymore. Before, most of his points were coming from attacking the inside, constantly driving to the rim. Now he’s not as aggressive as he used to be, and his outside shooting hasn’t really improved enough to compensate for that change.

Right now it feels like SGA is the one who benefits the most from that style of officiating. I don’t really see many other players getting the same kind of calls consistently. Maybe it just takes time for the refs to adjust again, similar to what happened before with James Harden when the league started changing how they called those fouls.

it’s hard to understand people who claim the Lakers were better without Lebron. But there are a lot of people saying this nowadays.
Lebron missed 18 games and played in 43. without him, their record was 11-7 (61%). with him it was 26-17 (60%).
And in most of those losses, they were missing key starters, most notably Austin Reaves.
And Lakers is currently 6th in the West trailing just 1 or 2 games behind the Nuggets, Wolves, and Rockets. of course a championship will be tough but if they get the right matchup, why not...

I too, will have to agree that the Lakers should be better off without him. I mean, he can still contribute offensively, but not much on the other end. With Luka, Reaves, and LeBron on the same floor, they're weak defensively. Without Marcus Smart's defensive presence, they would be much weaker than they are currently defensively. The main reason why they're at the safe playoff spot is that they have a very good offensive firepower. There were several occasions where Luka kept complaining and did not get back to defense, and that will surely put them in a bad 4-5 situation. Most of the time, the opponent scored.
At this point, I don't think Luka, Bron, and Reaves big 3 will work. They struggle against teams above .500.  I'm still not convinced they're gonna beat any Western teams in the top 5 in a 7-game series.

i don’t think the issue is whether the team is better off without Lebron or not. Without LeBron, they lost against the Spurs, Warriors, Thunder, Celtics and even against the likes of the Hawks and Blazers.
The real issue that bothers people is the reliance on a 41 year old man to save the day. Even if that man is LeBron James Los Angeles Lakers can’t make any real progress this way.

It’s kind of a shame that some players treat flopping like part of their strategy.
Two of the most obvious ones to me are LeBron James and Marcus Smart. Now that they’re on the same team, you’d expect they might get even more calls if the refs start favoring them.

That’s also one reason I can’t give LeBron my full respect, even though he’s already a legend of the game. Sometimes he does things that you normally wouldn’t expect from a superstar. For me he’ll never be close to Michael Jordan, but that’s just my opinion. LeBron fans don’t get mad at me for saying that.

Dillon Brooks got arrested for DUI this morning in Scottsdale. Hopefully this means he’ll be out of games for a while as I don’t like watching him play. I’m glad nobody was hurt, but it’s crazy to have that much money and be driving yourself around drunk in the middle of the night.

That is a very horrible thing to do, drinking and driving would obviously endanger the lives of others, especially when he is drunk and driving in a high speed, I’m very disappointed with Dillon Brooks because he is a very good player and I was expecting to see him play, now the Phoenix Suns have to play without him.

Sometimes I feel very awful with the attitude of this big sports players when they are driving themselves drunk, when they can have someone drive them when they are drunk, that is a bad thing to do and now he will have to face the consequences of his actions.

Yeah that win by the warriors was kind of unexpected. They’ve been losing games at home lately, then suddenly they go on the road and beat the Houston Rockets. I think it really comes down to the mentality of that team. A lot of those guys have been through the Finals before, especially Draymond Green, so they don’t easily give up even when things are not going their way.

Also their best player wasn’t even available, which makes the win more surprising. Lucky for those who took the Warriors side, because I’m pretty sure most bettors were backing the home team in that game.

Thought he was still out for the season, so it’s good to see the news that he’s coming back.

Timing is still good though. If he can stay healthy and avoid another injury, the Boston Celtics could be fully intact again. But we still have to see how it affects the team chemistry. He played 27 minutes and scored 15 points and I think that is good enough for a comeback game. He had one stretch wherein he had a three and then one bucket and there was no sign of his worst injury. As far as players getting back from this injury, yeah, Kobe did take more days to comeback, but I think in the case of Tatum, it's more of the advancement of sports science that why he took less day and seems really 100% healthy.

Kevin, Alperen, and Amen Thompson once again played a major role in the victory. Amen Thompson has been particularly contributing to the score in recent games.

For me, the surprise of the night was Denver's heavy defeat against New York. Jokic contributed well to the score again, but his teammates weren't productive in terms of scoring, resulting in a heavy defeat for Denver. 103-142

I didn’t expect that in his first game back he would get heavy minutes right away. Maybe they really prepared him well so that once he returned he was already close to 100%.

There’s also less pressure on him since the Boston Celtics have still been winning games even without him. Now that Jayson Tatum is back, it’s already a big boost for the team.

Honestly I like seeing that kind of production from him. Not being too focused on scoring actually helps the team more, since Tatum can do a lot of things on the floor, especially with rebounding and playmaking. Hopefully that’s the style he continues with moving forward.
