Just too bad that Wemby is out in this game, if not then this could be a different ball game. But this is what the Nuggets should do, take advantage of it although it was still a very close game if not for that Murray's dagger.

So going to be a interesting match-up if they will be facing each other in the playoff. But as far as experience goes, it's obvious that the Nuggets have the age. But a young team and very hungry and they have the Alien. And in a 7 game series, maybe the young legs might have the advantage, just saying.

Mathurin and Garland are really good trades for Clippers man... We saw it once again last night. They can both still called young as well. Especially Garland impressed me more with 5 3-PT made.

Kawhi is already a legend in my heart... If he didn't deal with serious injuries I believe he would absolutely be one of MVP candidates for regular season this year. 45 PTS, 6 3-PT and 75% FG!

I am 99% sure that he is going to be in the hall of fame, but he had a risk of being one of the only players who had FMVP and still not be in hall of fame, and he had two of them.

He will be there, he came back and kept playing good but for a while, it looked like after Toronto he would be all gone, like semi-retired, because he seriously missed almost all the games for a very very long time. He is aging now, he is playing good these days and that's good for him, but he has to stay healthy if they want anything with that team.

I agree to that, with Wembey there's another big man who can guard him and give him some difficulty to penetrate, as you mentioned Jokic take that advantage, and same with what I mentioned, they might see each other again in the next round hopefully we'll see both stars playing healthy so we can see decent competition between these two super team who both deserve to push forward.

Castle made a great effort for Spurs. But it was really tough to handle Murray - Jokic duo in this one... This is actually an amazing peformance by Jokic normally.

But he set the bar so high that people don't even find it satisfying enough after seeing him achieve a triple-double with 56 points.

In my opinion, Doncic is one of the most interesting players in the NBA right now. He's incredibly talented, a true superstar, but there's always something missing. He plays like he's 35, giving the impression that he's in his final seasons. He doesn't seem to enjoy All-Star Weekend, he doesn't strive to get in shape, and he doesn't seem very interested in his team winning a championship. He might actually be the most talented player in the NBA right now, but I don't think he's ambitious enough. That's why he'll never be as big a star as LeBron or Kobe.
He needs to do things differently. Still, he puts in incredible performances, and it's a real pleasure to watch him on the court

Some ex NBA player are already involved on match fixing so I will not be surprised for a person that has a record of fraud will commit this again on the newer scheme in the league.

I never understood why they chase quick money when they are not unemployed to a point where they can't make a normal life for themselves. I understand there are situations, most famously people like AI for example, who got broke and did terrible because they overspent all the money they got, and between the agent fees and manager fees and all of that, they end up getting much smaller and then tax hits and it's even smaller, but none of that makes this okay.

If you run out of money, go to some town and be their high school or college basketball coach, make a normal ordinary salary, go get a house that is normal, marry, have few kids, and work until you retire that way. It would be more than enough.

The Thunder didn't really face many difficulties during the regular season, considering they're still in first place in the Western Conference standings. What’s more, they’ve lost only one of their last 10 games.

Jokic is averaging a triple-double again but if the Nuggets finish in 5th place, he has no chance. SGA will win the MVP with the second-highest PPG while his team is leading the West. In my opinion Cunningham deserves it more than SGA after Jokic, but SGA will most likely win it anyway. Wemby is also among the candidates, even though his chances are low. The Spurs are much better when he's on the court and his impact on the team is incredible.

That is wrong if we base it on what happened in the past.

Remember the prime years of Russell Westbrook when he won the regular season MVP in 2017. Back then Oklahoma City Thunder were only around the 6th seed in the West, but Westbrook still won the MVP because he finished the season averaging a triple-double.

So it could be similar for Nikola Jokić here. Though I also believe SGA will likely win it, Jokic still has a decent chance if we look at past precedent.

Jokic was much better last season but didn't win. In my opinion, he should've received the award last season. Also if we consider their impact on the team, the Nuggets turn into an average team without Jokic, while the Thunder can manage quite well without SGA. Despite that they didn't give the award to Jokic. There's no reason for them to give it to him this season. It's also doubtful that he'll pass the 65-game threshold.

As I said, in my opinion the ranking should be Jokic, Cunningham, SGA, Wemby and if he plays enough games, Doncic could also be part of this discussion.

Dude's not that reliable on defense that's why the management back them get some good defensive players like PJ Washington, Daniel Gafford, Lively II, etc. Well that roster worked for at least a season and they've reached the NBA Finals with that roster - something that I didn't expect. Now with LA, the team is at the bottom when it comes to defense, and part of it is because of Luka, and Lebron as well. Also add the fact that the team doesn't have any defense-first players aside from Marcus Smart. Luka's lack of defense is being covered by stepping up on offense hence, the scoring barrage that he did last game.

On point. He’s not good at defense, that’s it. Not everyone can play defense, and not everyone can play offense. Let’s accept the fact that not everyone can be like Wemby or Kawhi, who are good on both offense and defense. That’s probably all Luka can offer when it comes to defense, and it may not improve much anymore in that area. He’s more of a purely offensive player. It’s not that he doesn’t want to play defense, it’s just that’s all he can offer.
