Legendary one day?

There had been a bug in the past too where a member can already have an avatar, it would be great to have such account.

Avatars were banned for a long time because of the possibility of injecting dodginess via images somehow. Accounts that already had them could keep them which made them attractive to some.

I praise the lord that this site doesn't allow gifs and images in signatures and avatars. So many forums are unbearable because of them.

But some people do have gifs - look at Phinnaeus Gage/aka bruno's account (Sorry no link handy on mobile).

No doubt it's been suggested before that you need to include the number of posts a user has made.

I'd say there's a modifying ratio of the higher the number of posts over the number of Activity that's occurred.  The OP should reflect that by showing both values.  There might be some other factors such as fortnights where there was no activity could put a dent in the score.

I estimate I'll tick over to Legendary around the 22nd/23rd of November 2016 - even if I only post once a fortnight between now and then.

I was lucky. Got my legendary at 856 or something.

  what about me? I got my legendary rank at 784  .

That is indeed lucky. I am almost at 900 mark and still waiting. Hope, I will get lucky at the next update.

If I'm right with my theory, you should become Legendary before me as you joined months after I did, have posted nearly twice as often as I have done and you are at the same Activity level ( 896 ) that I am at.

If I'm right with my theory, you should become Legendary before me as you joined months after I did, have posted nearly twice as often as I have done and you are at the same Activity level ( 896 ) that I am at.

And so i guess the number of posts counts very much for the random to be a HERO later on. Due to joining a signature campaign i now have about 2K. Maybe before i get to have 4k i may be a Legendary too. is it possible to have just about 600 in activity to be one?

no, you are guaranteed to become Legendary somewhere between 775 and 1030 activity, not early,
more post than the required minimums, does not an advantage to get the higher  rank.

A Hero and yet with just one post, must be a bug. i wonder why he deleted all his posts. I don't think a campaign manager would accept him if he applies as a participant but yes its cool.

I think in the beginning, avatars were allowed for all users. I just saw a few (old) newbie accounts with them in an old thread last night, but I can't recall where.

Not only in the beginning but also recently ( I think this year ) there was a bug on the forum where any rank could have an avatar and theymos confirmed and fixed it.

It has been stated in several threads already, at the moment you register an account on this forum, the activity number in which you become legendary member at, is already set. Nothing can and will change that.

If my theory is correct, you've posted about half as many posts as myself, so you should be after me and I feel I will become legendary around the end of November (22nd/23rd perhaps).

Your posts dwindling from Sep 2015 to June 2016 to around one or two posts per fortnight may help you over the line.

Hero or Legendary, there is not too much of a difference.
Most signature campaigns treat you the same as well.
