Congratulations!!  I had the same BOOM feeling when I went to Hero recently.  I have never shot for rank but its fun to watch it just happen as you participate and learn stuff.  I am still over half a year from joining you.  I have plenty of patience.  Mostly I am hoping the coins on my Trezors are all worth over 15K by the time I see the next BOOM here.  That is the ultimate boom watching those crusty coins from long ago turn into my retirement dreams come true.

Isn't it based off your posts and time since member / posts per week? to raise activity then your activity high level 750+ gives legendary

No. Once you reached 775 to 1030 activity, it will be like lottery that's why you will notice there are Hero members that with 900 activity while there are Legendary member with 800+ activity just like the one celebrating above, at 812 he turned Legendary. But one thing is certain, you have to be above 775 plus activity.

I think you should play a lottery or something like that,luck is definitely on your side

In my case still nothing about the new rank and I am crossed 900+ activity,but I know it's just a matter of time-maybe Santa bring something legendary under the tree in next days.

You're almost at 1000 already. I was just thinking I got lucky to be Legendary right before the Merit system was introduced!
Unless people go through your old posts to give points, it'll take quite some time to go from 500 to 1000.

To become legendary now it is so much harder, I hope they decrease merit requirements for those guys that are close.
Maybe I'm wrong, but we will see how it goes.

Lutpin you no longer need merit points
But for me I Have to wait a year tho to collect the raindrops with my cracked hands while I was able to retire in peace in few weeks (or maybe days)

I think it can take many years to raise 500 points of Merit with the new rules. Full Members have only 5 sMerit they can send, lower ranks have almost nothing. Legendary members rejoyce, with just a few exceptions there won't be other Legendary members for a long long time.

Looking very difficult to ever be able to rank up now, oh well.
