I have downloaded creditbit-qt for linux on ubuntu 16.04. When I tried to run it I realized that it was looking for old version of libraries. I created links to latest versions like this
cd /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu sudo ln -s libminiupnpc.so.10 libminiupnpc.so.8 sudo ldconfig -v
sudo ln -s libboost_thread.so.1.58.0 libboost_thread.so.1.54.0 sudo ldconfig -v
sudo ln -s libboost_program_options.so.1.58.0 libboost_program_options.so.1.54.0 sudo ldconfig -v
sudo ln -s libboost_filesystem.so.1.58.0 libboost_filesystem.so.1.54.0 sudo ldconfig -v
sudo ln -s libboost_system.so.1.58.0 libboost_system.so.1.54.0 sudo ldconfig -v
but when try to run creditbit-qt I get this:
*** Error in `./creditbit-qt': free(): invalid pointer: 0x00007fff2a908f68 *** ======= Backtrace: ========= /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6(+0x777e5)[0x7f4aa9ecf7e5] /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6(+0x7fe0a)[0x7f4aa9ed7e0a] /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6(cfree+0x4c)[0x7f4aa9edb98c] ./creditbit-qt[0x4deaef] ./creditbit-qt[0x4df5f5] ./creditbit-qt[0x43094d] /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6(__libc_start_main+0xf0)[0x7f4aa9e78830] ./creditbit-qt[0x439d5d] ======= Memory map: ========.....
Any suggestion?

Now I have another question if anyone can help: I have a backup of a wallet. I still have some creditbit in that wallet. and would b a pitty to lose them. How to import this backed up wallet back into creditbit-qt? Thank you very much, Ghip Ghip

Replace wallet.dat in the creditbit data folder. It is located under /home/.Creditbit (hidden folder)

Hi Creditbit fans, You can now join our Creditbit 2.0 dedicated slack channel at creditbit2.slack.com. If you wish to join, you can PM us with your email so we can add you. We have also created a new github account -> https://github.com/creditbit-dev
Repositories regarding Creditbit2 will be added here during the development. Here you will be able to track our development. We have also created a mailing list, which is not operational yet. Soon, you will be able to join it. Bi weekly updates will be posted here on bitcointalk and also sent to our new mailinglist. We will host meetups on our slack channel on weeks without updates. Ragarding the project infractructure...for CreditBay and CreditDAO to work, we need to introduce another contract called CreditIdentity. It will connect user identity with Ethereum addresses. This is an optional functionality. Future plan:11.01.2017 - By the end of the day, we will post an idea of what the new CreditBit should/will be like. DONE11.01.2017 - By the end of the week, we will establish channels, where the crypto community will be able to participate in the making process of our new ecosystem. DONE11.01.2017 - In the meantime, we will write down detailed explanation of each of the core entities which we will be posted in the beginning of the next week on this thread. Then you will be able to give us feedback so that we can compile the best version of Credit 2.0 together.

As far as I know you have to restore that wallet to a mobile phone wallet and then send them to your Creditbit-QT wallet... So you made it to stake coins,correct? I still can't get it to sync with the network and already downloaded the whole database... I have downloaded creditbit-qt for linux on ubuntu 16.04. When I tried to run it I realized that it was looking for old version of libraries. I created links to latest versions like this
cd /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu sudo ln -s libminiupnpc.so.10 libminiupnpc.so.8 sudo ldconfig -v

sudo ln -s libboost_program_options.so.1.58.0 libboost_program_options.so.1.54.0 sudo ldconfig -v
sudo ln -s libboost_filesystem.so.1.58.0 libboost_filesystem.so.1.54.0 sudo ldconfig -v
sudo ln -s libboost_system.so.1.58.0 libboost_system.so.1.54.0 sudo ldconfig -v
but when try to run creditbit-qt I get this:
*** Error in `./creditbit-qt': free(): invalid pointer: 0x00007fff2a908f68 *** ======= Backtrace: ========= /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6(+0x777e5)[0x7f4aa9ecf7e5] /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6(+0x7fe0a)[0x7f4aa9ed7e0a] /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6(cfree+0x4c)[0x7f4aa9edb98c] ./creditbit-qt[0x4deaef] ./creditbit-qt[0x4df5f5] ./creditbit-qt[0x43094d] /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6(__libc_start_main+0xf0)[0x7f4aa9e78830] ./creditbit-qt[0x439d5d] ======= Memory map: ========.....

don't be so sad, baghold some when it's cheap, keep an eye on the market price and make a profit on the next pump. or do like the people posting "MOON MOON MOON", keep quit for a while, the make promises and dump on the chumps

If that was the case it should have returned to worthing nothing but the price is stable at 0,13$ for small purchases plus when dumpers have dumped all of their coins (mostly old miners) then he price should rise as there aren't many credit bits out there...
