The main reason I bought Bitcoin is it is a good investment IMO. Other than that, I use it to purchase goods from online store/websites and getting good discounts from it. I rarely use it to buy altcoins and speculate with BTC price.
Yeah buying altcoins is risk as there is no guarantee that it will survive in long term, but we are sure that bitcoin will not disappear easily so its worth to put our money into it to get better results in future. |

I do even now since I see it as a great investment and an opportunity to earn a decent return IMO just with holding the coins and even without any additional investing.. and the btc value remains the same though.

How can you earn a descent amount if value remains the same? You will get profits by holding only if price goes higher in future but its good to buy some at this point as price is still affordable. |

Yeah I am buying it on monthly basis, as soon as I get salary I put some part of it in bitcoins at whatever price its holding, as I believe in holding it for long term and price will definitely rise in long term.

i have been doing exactly the same at the time the price was sitting below the $400 level. i had plenty enough time to buy myself as many coins as possible each month. as soon as the price reached $400 i stopped doing so as i was very happy with the number of coins that i managed to collect. i personally was buying at least $100 worth of coins each month, with peaks up to $200-$300 at the time the price was tanking heavily. |

In several occasions my paypal account has got blocked and funds locked so i have started holding bitcoin or buying them with all fiat i have to save it in secure place and bitcoin is the only option available right now.

For me price is high now, so I have kept buying on hold and not buying at current price and I am waiting for the price drop and if that happens then I will definitely buy some bitcoins.

We are buying Bitcoins because we want to make some profit later and than we will have some more money later and that will be good.
I hope later that more people will use Bitcoins and also have some later profit, that will be great.

I buy my bitcoins when I want to make a payment with them.
There is no big time between the moment when I buy the coins and the moment I make the payment using them.
Of course the amount of bitcoins I buy is always a little bit more than the amount I need.
The difference goes to my savings wich I keep in case a big price increase comes.

When the price is stable for a while and I can afford it, I buy some. I hope the prices will go up in the long term and I can make
some money. Leaving the money in a bank account doesn't yield any interest anymore

I do not experience buying bitcoin because i save my income here and i do roll it in trading so i do not buy bitcoin. I save my income here in forum also in trading.
Because i would like to get profit if bitcoin price become higher.
Exactly. You just pull the word out of my mouth. Bitcoin is the best payment option in the world right now and I do not think there is going to be replacement for it though there still people with brilliant ideas to come up with something better. |

For now I'm not buying bitcoin but I'm doing earning bitcoin through joining in the signature campaign, trading in the exchange, joining in the giveaways and sometime doing also faucets. |

my reason to buy bitcoins is to trade the altcoins and invest what i can afford to loose hoping that it will grow a lot rather than spending some money on gadgets.
YOur reason is good as well but if you are going to take it as your income source then you are going to lose every thing in trading to must save atleast and don't just too harsh on ivnesting and trading afford what you can loose. |

talking is always easy, but you have to be a dedicated holder in order to make profits in the long term. just make sure you don't get tempted to sell your coins as soon as the price goes up a few percent. i always wait till i gain at least 30% before i secure profits. otherwise it's not worth it for me. |

we are all waiting for a price drop always. but while you wait you should also make some assessment on your own of the situation and see if this drop going to happen or not! in the current market i am doubtful about any drop at all. i am not buying anything because i have already bough so many bitcoins when price was stable and low and when everybody was depressed over it |

Well as you said, everyone know about it and also doing it, also including me, I always buy the bitcoin in a cheap price and sell it on a high price, because it is a safe sound way and no need on hard working on it. Otherwise if someone buy the bitcoin in a high price than how can he make a profit from it, because bitcoin's price is a main thing which give us profit |
