for the few places that do accept bitcoin, do you currently spend the coins you hold at any of them?I know places like www.takeaway.com accept bitcoin and i even heard CEX.co.uk accept bitcoin in stores now too, but does anyone spend the bitcoins they have or do most just onto hold them? (Or gamble them lol) I wonder if there will ever be any retailers that only accept bitcoin. well yes, and since i love games, and now when steam accepts bitcoins, i actually spend them even more often now than before, sometimes i spend more than 100$ in month for steam only and of course with sites like purse.io or openbazaar, well i like to spend my bitcoins there too, if we wouldn't spend any bitcoins at all it wouldn't be good for bitcoin |

I used to spend bitcoin quite a lot and the fee is very low. But the traffic is quite congested, I will have to spend higher fees. |

Yeah but at a moment I think spending is not the right thing to do, just hold it till the halving and spend when bitcoin price crosses $1k mark. |

Yes i actively spend my bitcoins, paying bills, top up mobile loads, buying website with BTC, encashing them to finance my small business start up, playing Dice and many more. Spenders as, That is true, because of the spenders bitcoins community grow, it is not really the investors and traders who made and help the bitcoins grow. If we continue to support by using bitcoins in our regular online transactions that is already a big help for the community and I myself I have already contributed mine as I am a gambler who regularly play with bitcoins.

I see that price nowdays is $700 and i don't really want to spend something, better to wait a bit more to get maximum from this halving , but need to be very carefull.

Yeah need to be careful mate, as we don't know whether price will increase or decrease at the time of halving so we need to play smart and grab each and every opportunity to earn profits. |

Yeah me either, I stopped spending actively, because we have all one goals, is to get profit from halving, and because more people are stopping to spend their bitcoins, it is one now of the things that make the bitcoins price increase. Low supply of bitcoin now is happening, so the demand is high and make the price increase. |

I actively spend my bitcoins on investments of any kind like mining, hyip gambling but most of it converted to cash to provide my family needs. Bitcoin for me is a secondary source of funds. I want to save my funds but i want to spend it to earn more bitcoins thats business.

Well you gotta be put some limitations in active spending of your bitcoins with gambling, yes it is very convenient but the thing is it might run out your bitcoins because of being an active spender to it. No problem if you are going to spend it on other things that you need. But for gambling, I say put some limitations. |

Well you gotta be put some limitations in active spending of your bitcoins with gambling, yes it is very convenient but the thing is it might run out your bitcoins because of being an active spender to it. No problem if you are going to spend it on other things that you need. But for gambling, I say put some limitations. Totally gambling is not a good way to spend your money because it would only let you do things that will cause you trouble in the future if you cannot control yourself. Maybe buy and sell business online would be good but if you want a a more simple way. Investment is the best way to do it. |

I have not been spending my bitcoins the past few days, in anticipation of another surge coming. One can't be blamed for just holding, because the way the price moves, it is the wisest thing to do at the moment. With the increasing demand from the Chinese market, we might see the price go up further and that is another reason for me to just hold and buy when I have the budget to do so.

Definitely, that is a good idea, we should save and keep our bitcoins now as we have a good market movement with the price going up to the moon again. If you can at least control your self for a while you will rip a good profit in the near future, right after the halving. |
