Its all dependable on the person itself if you ask me because I can easily stop with something if I want it, even with gambling.
Another way can be by just doing other fun things like watching movies with friends or go hanging out with them.
There are a lot of methods to clear your mind and stay away from it.

it's easy for you but not for everyone, that's why they need help and ask for help. lots of gamblers can't even decide whether they really want to stop gambling or not. |

I was once an addict in gambling but I managed to change that. Its really hard to stop especially if you are used to it in your everyday routine. I kept myself busy doing something like go out with my friends and explore different places.

If you are an addict, you have to stay away from control any amount of money, so you can not find money to gamble or bet.
agree I've listened to a seminar if you do not want wasteful and spend money you should not be holding cash in your wallet. This seems to be done to avoid gambling and addiction cure Well i think there's the other way that you can stay away from addiction why dont you bring first your self in psychiatrist and ask if what is the best method to stay away from gambling addiction.. Maybe psychiatrists will say same thing  also they want really huge amount of money for a meeting. |

It's pretty hard to stop with gambling if you are addicted to it. If you want to try and stop gambling you have to find a other hobby or something.
This way your mind is not focusing on gambling and you don't have the time.

it depends upon the reason on why you are making your self addicted to gambling, if you are into profit, then better find a job in real life, if it is for fun, better find a hobby or get your self a pet to take care of... |

Most people gamble because of instant money they can get in gambling but if a hobby can give them money definitely that is good because that is the time they will realized a safe method in earning money. |

Staying away from gambling is not so easy as the most people say of course because its the addiction that makes it even harder if you ask me right ?
I think social control can help you in the first place, let someone say that you need to stop and talk about it with someone, if this is not helping you should search for serious help in my opinion.

hi i am getting addicted to gambling.And i am loosing a lot of money.I am loosing what i can't afford to lose.its sad that when you start loosing its just busted me again and again.at last i gamble for fun but now when i am getting addicted i am loosing too much. Yes their instant money always attract people a lot but if you make gambling become your hobby that is not a good thing as I can say because that thing is a dangerous hobby and you should not make that thing become your hobby. And btw there is no safe method to earn in gambling because everything you do have a risk, if you can outcome the risk you will sure earn some profit |

I say its more of financial literacy. If the person has hobby to blow money then learn how to really know the basics of a profit, then they should just focus on that. Theres no need to blow money away.. |
