Just stop being greedy. Greed overruns your natural rational self and that is what causes you to gamble in my opinion. What you need to do is to stop thinking of gambling as a way to earn money, but a way to guarantee losing.
This is exactly what I am thinking about. Being too greedy will make you lose all your money and you will gain nothing from gambling. In my opinion, gambling is a fun and exciting activity which make you happy and excited after an exhausting day. |

Yeah greediness is one of the reason why we are losing a lot in gambling so if you control your greediness you can control also your money to lose in gambling so just think that you are just playing for fun not for making profit.. |

Yeah actually... Someone should not take gambling as a way of earning money or getting profits all the time but they should just consider it a way of having some fun and that would be the way of staying away from gambling... because if you are just gambling for fun then you wont think of doing it again and again but you will only do it once in a while for just having some fun.... |

Like me instead of gambling i focused myself playing mobile apps and if i get bored again then i try to program mobile apps.

you're right, the focus is a very important factor to stay away from gambling, other than that you need a strong determination and great to get away from it, because if your determination is weak, it will be very easy for you to go back to gamble again, even you really can hooked on gambling, so focused and determined  |

that is true but what if you are a sports fan and in my experience as long as you are a sports fan you will be tempted to wage atleast a small amount of bet |

You must admit that you are an addicted gambler and if you are able to accept your mistake that being an addicted gambler will not help you. Then you will realize that you really must quit gambling already. If that is not doing good to you, then you must find something else that will going to help you on how you are going to get good profit. |

It is true, if you want to be healed in every addiction the first step is you need to accept the fact that you are addicted and you want it to change, then slowly change your gambling habit, the most influence thing is the environment, so you need to stop hanging around with your friend that had gambling habit and stay away from activity that can remind you of gambling |

let's married friend  my friend is gambler, also he is a heavy drinker, but after he married, and he have a little son, now he stop to gambling and use the money to buy household. Something very right thing to do. But I see that things are not necessarily going to work to those who are yet to eliminate thoughts about gambling. All those who managed to get out of gambling is already removing their thoughts on how to play gambling and not minded to re do it Getting married is not planed at all unless you and your fiance have a plan already but this is not easy to do, it will come to you when time comes , and for me, being in love with someone will definitely make you a different man in the future because most of the time when people got their child, they will become business minded. |

That won't be easy for an addicted gambler, because even if you are going to invest all of that money into bank account as long as your hands are itchy for gambling. Then you will just going to cash it out and you will finally get some way and to gamble again. I think that this is not a good idea, it is better if you are going to convert your money into other investments. |

That won't be easy for an addicted gambler, because even if you are going to invest all of that money into bank account as long as your hands are itchy for gambling. Then you will just going to cash it out and you will finally get some way and to gamble again. I think that this is not a good idea, it is better if you are going to convert your money into other investments. Put it in a time deposit where there's a definite time before you can withdraw the money, that is the only way I see you will not be able to access your funds and you will be tempted to gamble again. Actually when you are addicted there are ways you can do to gamble again and you need to fully change your lifestyle as well so you will be successful in quitting. |

i think greediness is in the nature of humanity and that cannot be stop, i think we should try to convince our self up to certain limit and only then we can control our self. if you thing that still you have no control on you then you should try to engage your self in such kind of activities where you can make good money and you can every not find some extra to visit a casino and only then you can stop your self from gambling. |

i think greediness is in the nature of humanity and that cannot be stop, i think we should try to convince our self up to certain limit and only then we can control our self. if you thing that still you have no control on you then you should try to engage your self in such kind of activities where you can make good money and you can every not find some extra to visit a casino and only then you can stop your self from gambling. Yep. Creating a limit is somewhat helpful as well, seeing that it is much better than not having a limit at all and wasting all your time and money on gambling. Also creating a distraction for yourself I guess? That way you don't need to think about gambling all the time. |

This does not work because a gambling addict is like a drug addict they will do anything to get their fix, they will sell stuff they will borrow money that they cannot hope to repay, they will steal, etc. without self will and medical help i think its really harder for the addict to move away, so helping them to create more and more activity to get involved will allowed them to make some new decision so better to start helping your self to move away. |

Leaving an addiction is not that easy... We surely just say that think about its badness and you will not use it again.. but the ones who are addicted of it they don't see it in that way.. but they think it can earn them good profits and that is the reason why they keep doing it everytime after losing their money... |
