Important Update

Hello everyone, sorry for the late update, but as u9y42 pointed out, I was away most of the day.

As promised I would like to announce that our Tipster Championship is back, and our new sponsor is BetKing.io!

We will try to go live on the 1st August, just in time for the start of the major European Football Leagues, so that you don't miss good betting opportunities, while at the same time get the chance to win some great prizes, making your betting experience much better!

As for the competition format, things are almost all decided, but as usual we listen, so feel free to make suggestions and if we can we will add them. If we can't add them for this first opening edition, we will try to do it on the next one if possible.

We will make an official announcement with all the rules, but right now this is our plan:

- Betting bankroll of $50 (Bitcoin equivalent)
- Valid bets will need to have a stake of at least 1% of current bankroll, and will have a max of 5% (of course tat if they are above 5%, you will still get paid, but wins will only be calculated for the leaderboard as if they were made with a 5% stake)
- We will consider daily ROI% and award competition points based on that value.

We will have 3 different formats, so that everyone can get something out of our competition:

- Daily Challenges: Like the ones we had before. We will give you a Betting Challenge and the winner will get a daily prize based on that.

- Weekly Competition: As said before our daily ROI% will award you points. At the end of the week, the players with more points will get their prizes. Points will reset every week for this weekly format, so that everyone has a chance to win these prizes as well.

- Monthly Competition: Although we will give most of the prizes on our Weekly Format, we still want to reward those that are able to make good bets during the entire month. For the Monthly Format, we will not reset the points, and at the end of the month we will award prizes for a small number of players. Our Tipster Kings for the month!

We want to keep everyone engaged in our new Tipster Championship!!!
So with these three options:
- You will be making your normal bets while winning fast daily prizes!
- If you have a good week, you will get even more rewards. If that week wasn't so good, don't worry, because you will have a chance to start all over again on the next week, since we reset weekly points!
- If you are that good, and keep getting good results week after week, we will be noticing and you will get more prizes at the end of the month!

So no matter what happens, you will always have chances to win prizes while you are doing what you like, that is betting!
I think it's hard to beat this, but as I said before, please make suggestions if you have them.

Prizes for the Side Competition (Phase 2):
- The following prizes will be paid for each of the 4 Mini Leagues, played in the Phase 2 of the Side Competition
- 30 mBTC Casino House Credit (For EVERY Daily Challenge won in each of the 4 Mini Leagues)
- 1st 125 mBTC Casino House Credit
- 2nd 70 mBTC Casino House Credit
- 3rd 40 mBTC Casino House Credit

(Note: All Side competition prizes require a 1,000 loyalty points rollover for each 30mBTC)

Global rules:
- You need to place at least 3 bets on any given day to qualify for points [Very Important]
- Bets will need to settle on that given day, in order to be counted for the minimum bet requirement [Very Important]
(exception to this, is when the reasons for the bet to remain unsettled could not be controlled by the user)
- Each day we will award points based on the ROI% made on that day (points will be awarded each day after 00h UTC)
- (In case of ties Global ROI% will be used to solve the tie)

Bonus point System
- On each day one user can win a daily challenge. The winner will see his points from the normal point system doubled (if he scores 0, he will be awarded 1 point)
- Users can only double points for 3 Daily Challenges wins during Phase 1, and 1 Daily Challenge win for each of the 4 Mini Leagues
- Everyone will be competing in the daily challenges by default, unless a participant explicitly asks us not to do so on a given day / for a given challenge (this is important because like we said users can only double points 3 times)

Daily challenges Schedule:
Monday: Winning bet at the highest odds (minimum odds @1.2)
Tuesday: Highest number of wins during the day (minimum odds @1.2)
Wednesday: Parlay won with the highest number of selections (minimum odds @1.8)


Phase 1 Rules
- One League will be created with all participants
- We will pass the top 24 participants to the Mini Leagues phase
(Note we will decide the amount of points to award, after registration closes)

Mini Leagues Phase Rules
- Mini Leagues will be played.
- Each Mini League will have the duration of 3 betting days
- At the end of each Mini League, Top4 will be awarded prizes
- We will reset points at the end of every Mini League

Glad to see that we are having a more balanced competition regarding the bankrolls.
On our top 7 we have 3 normal bankrolls and 4 "high-rollers".

I guess the adjustments in the rules are helping the competition.

Hello guys a small clarification about the 13% bonus ROI rule, since we had some doubts about this on the main thread.

Here is the rule:

2. A bonus of 13% of each bet stake will be added to the leaderboard, no matter if you win or lose the bet (for the purpose of determining the winner only and not in the form of real money).

This means that:

- On a 1% winning bet he gets plus 0.13% to his Bankroll as profit (for the purpose of the competition)
- On a losing 1% bet he loses 1% and get 0.13% to his Bankroll (so he just loses 0.87%, but it is still negative ROI)

This bonus simulates a VIP reward system, which is normal in many sports betting sites, that's why we have it. Yes it does help in the long run, but it's not this feature that will determine the winner.

When you place a bet below the 1% minimum, it will be listed in your list of bets but it will not be counted in the leaderboard.

Notice that the number of bets stated in the leaderboard (currently 76) is one less than the number of bets listed in your list of bets (currently 77).

The difference is because of that one bet that did not count for the competition as it was too small.

To do so you must donate a small tip to the tipping address that will be collected by the winner of the competition.

Maybee not the winner, but if you have a look at the last competition, well it helps a lot, at least in order to be on the Top 7 as it happended in the last championship.
Have a look at GrandeMar's page, He made around 500 1.01 bets, and he is +55%, tomorrow be +63% and so on.
Out 100 1.01 bets he has lost more than One, He has won only 4 parlays (odds 1.17 to 1.40) out 530 bets.

I have tried it and made around 6-7-8% in few hours.

Okay in this case you think it's necessary to set minimum odds right? Because it's seems like not a tipster when you bet @1.01.
If the case like that i would agree to set the minimum odds like @1.3 or higher.
