Why would customers use Bitcoins?

I prefer using it just because of money transfer. It is way too cheap for the service fee unlike others. But with buying a thing using it I cannot answer yet, i haveny tried it since I got here. All transactions are just online and never with a store outside or at the mall.

You must take into account that, when dealing with physical merchandise the problem of how to remain anonymous escalates, if you don’t care then that is fine but if you do then remaining anonymous is a lot harder.

They cannot just deal with anonymous transaction because such establishment will not be able to comply with the laws of the country, if a certain store will accept bitcoin they will comply the customers to declare there real information in order to comply with the law.

And that is why I said it will become harder, although taking some measures to try to reach it are not out of the question and that way you can improve your chances of remaining anonymous..

If bitcoin will be banned in a particular country, then buying via this currency is also prohibited. Or is the provision of personal documents may be required. And then anonymity is lost.

Fees are not a problem because that is where miners are getting bitcoins by confirmation different transactions that we are going to do each day.

And customers or we should use bitcoins because this is going to be the future currency of all nation. Because of its convenience and easy to use by the people who are going to adopt it.

Bitcoin is flexible and gives a lot of chance to earn so we should use and support it.

Transaction costs are fast and cheaper than paying via Paypal and other payment processors. Also more and more people are using bitcoin now so why not take bitcoin as a payment gateway fr merchants also? It makes sense not to convert bitcoin in order to use it.

i guess for a fast problems all digital currency have nearly the same speed in the sending of money but for the fee that cannot be matched by any other digital currencies.

Free transactions will become a rare happening more and more as we progress throughout the years. Pools are really picky on transactions nowadays, and this will not change. Especially now fee income from transactions will get more important than even for pools as block rewards get lower and lower.

I agree, only bitcoin can give users a multiple package, currency, stock asset , investment.  Customer can enjoy the security, fast transaction and ease of using bitcoin.  Aside from that, he can also enjoy the trading pairss to BTC and have profit if he is skilled in trading.  Aside from that holding BTC for a long period of time can give him more price value unlike fiat money which depreciate every year.

I'd have to assume spending Bitcoins will be handy when you forget your wallet but hav your phone on you! I know phones have the NFC option now but most people don't know about it/use it and it would be a great way to pay with Bitcoins (if that could somehow be implemented. Maybe a 4 digit PIN + tap is needed and that would be your hot wallet).

but how exactly does this help to answer the question that OP had? when a customer asks why he should pay with bitcoin and not with a credit card, the answer "because they have blue wallets and i like the color blue" is not the right answer.

bitcoins have transaction fees. for every transaction you make and that includes from one of your wallets to another wallet you own, you pay fees to the miners around 07 cent right now.
if you want to exchange bitcoin into fiat, then you pay the transaction fee from your wallet to the exchanges wallet and as exchanges want to earn some money you will have to pay them a fee for exchanging the money. this fee depends on them.

I am pretty sure that people who are not aware of Bitcoin ,will certainly not use bitcoin, But what you said about people who are aware of bitcoin are using it is not true, because I have friend who know bitcoin but do not use it. Obviously what bitcoin only needs is time for it to make people aware that there is an online currency.

I think in that case transaction fees would stay where they are, but they are small so yeah, we can ignore them.

To answer the OP's question " Why would customers use Bitcoins?" - if they don't have Bitcoins, they wouldn't use it. But those who have Bitcoins would for sure chose those stores who are accepting payments with BTC.
