They spent so little money that it didn't provide them any iota ?
no, they invested no money at all, they only spent 1 Nxt to tell the devs where to send their zero iotas...

to be fair, maybe they just sent the message from the wrong address, happened to me to in the btc claiming process

The rich kid https://blockchain.info/address/1LfCHYaqZcgoJfFc69aYZpg4NGVgpQQd2u confirmed his iotas.
Probably he was at home today to take a bundle of money before next night clubbing round.

Perfection can't be reached, I can optimize the code indefinitely.

Don't go mad now

some percent of double-spendings can be tolerated if we save a lot of resources by allowing this. Every day new counterfeit dollars appear in the streets but Earth doesn't stop spinning.

1% of your effort will take you 99% of the way to your goal, but completing that final 1% will cost 99% of the total effort.

the world obviously does not care that 2 entities in 1 country who probably have lunch regularly already control over 51% of the bitcoin hash power.  case in point, bitcoin has never died.

who really cares about a few dollars spent twice?

nobody that matters

so, why the hell don't you just save 99% of your time and money, rather than spend it on something that the masses don't care about.

a wokaholic can get 99x more useful work done if he is not a perfectionist

So just because you are imperfect, does not mean that you are unproductive

Case in point:

the world's undisputed most distributed immutable ledger (if it works)

(and another creative genius bound for the funny farm because he craves attaining that final 1%

Very bad philosophy and untrue for stupid lazy people stick it in your ass and gtfo

So, what's the time frame until we can actually go and get our iotas then? Also anyone from iota spoken to poloniex? I know a lot of us have put in a coin request with them but it would be great if they could be contacted officially by you guys too... if the coin is popular and sought after on the markets then it can only be good news in terms of supporting the project with its value Wink.

now that crapsy is down all the volume is polo.

exciting times... looking forward to seeing what this all looks like as it unfolds

Polo and btc38 should both be priorities for listing Iota, it will need to be a community effort to help list.

If you guys want to start trading IOTA on the Nxt decentralized asset exchange, you can.
I just created an asset, more details here :

[ANN] IOTA asset 10966270007977442520

If you don't know how to use Nxt exchange or have any question, please do NOT post in the IOTA crowdsale thread but on this thread created for that purpose.

At step 2, when entering the passphrase, why does it always say "' ' character is invalid, it will be replaced by '9'!" when validating ?

Beta test will show. For now I'm going to create the genesis and publish it for review.

Because you entered a number OTHER than 9 or a non-lower case letter. So that is auto replaced to a 9 so that you have a functioning password/private key.

At step 2, when entering the passphrase, why does it always say "' ' character is invalid, it will be replaced by '9'!" when validating ?

Because that character is invalid. Only '9' and latin letters are allowed.

Hehe... If someone is one of those who does not care to complete that remaining 1%, then I would really prefer him to be lazy!  Grin

Otherwise, if he is productive workaholic, he could create so much shit, world could never handle it!! We are actually already flooded by shit created by such non-perfectionist workaholics (there are hundreds or examples of such shit, take China tablets as one..).

So.. lets hope the non-perfectionists get lazy  Grin

... this space is not for rent ...

Some people are so lazy... https://nxtportal.org/accounts/15144525595203487097

Edit: The guy bought NXT on BTER to send Iota address without sending JINN. Either was too lazy to read ToS or is too lazy to conduct a more sophisticated scam.

The following addresses sent claiming amounts but their Iota addresses are unknown:

1CWohVDhzUvW1ec7Ce8sFWxXJviT765xEg

Their owners should send me these Iota addresses via BitcoinTalk PM or email come-from-beyond@mail.ru.
