Check the genesis, please:

Unclaimed Iotas Fund (50+ entities) 101 193 117.999999999

What will be done with/of the unclaimed IOTAS?

Hopefully they will be returned to their rightful owners as IOTA now will get more exposure again through launch, media and events. But if some of them end up not collected within the next 60 days, they will be used to boost IOTA. We'll decide in conjunction with the IOTA community on how to best spend them, whether through bounties, faucet or whatever.

Make a new crowdsale to sell them again with the same rate

I would be shocked if there is any more than the equivalent of 1BTC in Iota that goes unclaimed.  Participants have another 60 days to collect, so I wouldn't focus on what's going to happen to those Iota.  I would focus on how to improve adoption of Iota at this point.

Hm, wait. It's just an example, not the limit. No need to redo the genesis.

Edit: Anyone speaking native English here to review?

Yes, the 5% was just an example stating what you would get for your participation in crowdsale.  It's not a limit and there was no limit on how much someone could send during the crowdsale.

Edit: what David just posted above  Smiley

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1262688.msg13066395#msg13066395 proved that "E.G." was there from the very beginning, so there was no 5% cap.

Note for self: Use fewer latin abbreviations...

NXT related question for my knowledge: Anyone can be so kind and could tell me what was the top peak ROI of NXT?

I think at one point Nxt peaked at $100mil marketcap, so each Nxt was worth 10 cents.  1BTC in Nxt crowdsale got you 50Mil Nxt and 1BTC was worth about $260 at the start of the crowdsale, but BTC had a quick uptrend to about $800 when Nxt was launched.   Sooooo, theoretically a $260 (1BTC) investment was worth $5mil at the peak.  It was a perfect storm combination that we probably will never see again.

No problem.  I think the extreme Nxt ROI resulted in a lot of people calling it a "scam" because there were so few participants in the crowdsale.  You can almost draw a direct correlation between ROI and scam accusations.  It's called the "missed boat syndrome"  Smiley

I feel quite lucky to be here at all.

I literally read about this at 10pm on the closing day and have never participated in a crowdsale before. I felt nervous sending more than 1btc with no time to do research and being a noob to most of this... glad I did send 1 at 11:15pm that night lol, but man I wish I'd been told a few hours earlier (or better months earlier so I could have gotten early bird %). I should have invested 10+ btc in support of this project really Sad.

Ah well... maybe halving and rebound from hearngate will give us another perfect storm potential ;p

How can I calculate it based in my BTC payment and 15% bonus?

Thanks

Multiply it by 860134.

I sent 10btc with 15% bonus
here is my address on genesis list You provided

WHETNNNGMKYRBISDAUTOSD9VED9RAYYXDAGSASEGZROASWAQVGJZXGPHLLGFGNM9D9QSQEOPYFMLDPE IP   8 599 212

10*1,15/1337*1000000000 = 8 601 346

It's because 1337 is the rounded number. Use 1337.33 to get a more precise result.

What was the total BTC value of the ICO (BTC + given JINN token value) BEFORE any bonuses?

A Personal Quote on BTT from 2011:
"I'd be willing to make a moderate "investment" if the value of the BTC went below $2.00.  Otherwise I'll just have to live with my 5 BTC and be happy. :/"  ...sigh.  If only I knew.

It's not the HTML code that was issue, it was the JS and CSS animation. We elected to go for a beautiful and professional interface instead of just rough and dry. First impression is very important. Then while doing this we realized some optimizations could be made to the core tech, so then we did that.

Ok great, so that puts an initial, total funded price at 1191.1335 BTC (after adding in the value of the JINN tokens.)

So, each IOTA was purchased for .00000119 @ ICO, disregarding bonuses.

- for those, who want not only to buy, but also to trade their IOTAs, I've created the IOTA Gateway at the Nxt decentralized Asset Exchange (AE).

IOTA Gateway address: WZRQXFMSWCXEMIFYJTFLPC9KEQBITRMGHVUWNFHWLCJABDZEFDXWYLQAJIHZMALZLMQDNXQYAANDNAX ME

Asset Name: 1000IOTAs

Asset ID: 6142450902338776418

Each one asset represents 1000 (one thousand) IOTA coins.

Thanks and nice effort, but the orderbook is empty. Huh
