Hi I sent a payment for the crowdsale in December, and I used a single address account on the mycelium Android app. I now need to sign my Iota address with that BTC address and send cfb the signature. Any help would be welcome:)

I guess the steps would be:
 - swipe to the left "Account" window;
 - select the account you will want to sign with;
 - on the menu options, select "Sign Message";
 - enter your pin code;
 - select key for signing;
 - enter the message that you want to sign;
 - sign message
 - and so on...

Thanks for the help!

sounds great...somebody should make a LONG list with all these great ideas. if just 1% could be fullfilled.. it would chance the world :-)

We need ideas first, then we can make long lists.

* let the future tesla buy traffic info so it can navigate around traffic jams

Not sure if this can be monetized, as such services already exist for free without the apparent need of iota.

Makes sense, but the other ideas were good. And this is ok, as we are just brainstorming, right?

Thanks to the two of you, and other that come up with ideas.

The rest of you that got something, lets hear it. Consider each idea money in the bank.

The more brainstorming ideas presented, the more winning ideas we find.

No ideas is stupid when brainstorming. Its purpose is to spark other ideas as well.

Ill keep track and compile them as we go.

What else??

How about an unmoderated forum as a use case? Every user that makes a post has to put in an IOTA 'deposit'. If the post gets flagged as spam by too many people, the deposit doesn't get refunded. If not, the deposit is refunded and since IOTA has zero fees, the poster has no loss. I guess it can be extended to anything that can be spammed.

You see, maybe this is genius. Or, maybe it's just the spark that brings on that brilliant idea that captures the world.

But without the brainstorming, we never would have got there.

Dont stop and wonder if the idea is cool enough, POST IT.

It doesn't have to be groundbreaking at this point, it just has to be a piece that helps keep the conversation going.

a coin at 0 fee can be used for everything , like in a decentralized trading exchange

Idea for a decentralized lending library?

How about if you did not have to return a tool, a bike, or a book to a centralized location, but could simply pass it on to whomever had the appropriate Smartphone app?
Already I can think of some problems with this, but perhaps there are solutions.

One problem I can see: If you have to identify and meet someone who has the thing you want, how do you do it safely? Perhaps this is a place for a trusted "middleman." This could be a role for a person rather than a location.

Now it's already getting complicated. Maybe this isn't the right kind of system for tools, bikes, and books, but could be used for some other kind of thing?

Some good ideas being brainstormed here. What I propose is that you guys setup a channel/team for one or more of these ideas on Ryver and start recruiting people to participate in making it a reality. We'll help out too. We have already been invited to more conferences and IoT events in the upcoming months, so having real use cases that are in development would be a great way for us to show case IOTA as well as free PR for these potential start-ups.

Hey, that's a good idea! You could even proof-of-concept it with digital books, movies or music (!)

Iota has already been selling at a price of about .00001.  A lot of it has sold at that price (or slightly above) on the Nxt Asset exchange. I have also offered a small amount up for that price.

That is the current "normal" price and most likely a fair bit lower than it will open up on exchanges, as most people still have not heard of this coin or even know about the technology - hardware - being developed behind it.

I seriously doubt you will get any below this price. If you are interested in it at the current price I have escrow already set up for you to use.

0.00001 BTC is about x10 from IPO price, right?

Is there a roadmap?

I think we will open considerably higher than current NXT exchange price. There are larger private deals going on around 0.000015-0.000017. I see opening around 0.000025

This is kinda funny. I dont mean to be rude, but if we could buy it at double the IPO price we would be buying it up ourselves too.

If you can find it below .00002 from someone serious with an escrow, or on the AE I would do so if you dont have any abd are trying to get in before it explodes on the exchange

The only reason it is even that cheap now is because tangle hasn't been  proven to work. Once that risk is gone because it has run successfully, the price will rise significantly IMHO
