It's also missing some of the previous proposals it once listed as well. Those proposals are expired/finished so that's expected I believe. I only see 1 proposal via the wallet also as below. 08:28:35 mnbudget show 08:28:36  { "Github-Repo-Fees" : { "Name" : "Github-Repo-Fees", "URL" : "bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1262920.msg15244032#msg15244032", "Hash" : "f356a03d1b98a6b08ebd863141802db243924dd319c6ecb029892077da97ac55", "FeeHash" : "504200df2939c10f0240a7e58aef144c3878dba81257428e3f0a2ccc8667d524", "BlockStart" : 216000, "BlockEnd" : 1792800, "TotalPaymentCount" : 36, "RemainingPaymentCount" : 35, "PaymentAddress" : "DJikTFX6fXmi9wbsxJ7tg23Hs6RuLYXDNp", "Ratio" : 0.99005964, "Yeas" : 385, "Nays" : 5, "Abstains" : 0, "TotalPayment" : 180000.00000000, "MonthlyPayment" : 5000.00000000, "IsEstablished" : true, "IsValid" : true, "IsValidReason" : "", "fValid" : true } }
The list showed expired ones before though. I liked that history available on one page. Nice little rally on Trex right now also. Happy HODLings.

So umm is this coin still kicking in its current state or what ? Has it switched over to PoS or not yet ?
Are the majority of users MasterNode mining rewards instead of Regular Power Mining ?

It's still kicking in PoW. It will switch over to PoS in approx 21 days. (approx. August 6th) I did mine with a single card for few days but I'm on the masternode band wagon now.

Market cap doubled in past month or so but still sub-$200K. Ranked 147 on coinmarketcap.com now. I foresee it going within top 100 in the short term. Meaning $450K market cap. e.g. approx. 2000 sat.

We past 200k market cap an hour ago. Yeah. But I go by solid buy orders and not high buy spikes. Anyways, it's getting harder every day to buy DNET cheap!

The next major project after PoS is Completed, is to work on the Anon Transaction. If it's unique, hope you guys write up a whitepaper along with it. Technical explanation is always beneficial as you know. As for the PoS with dynamic balancing of MN & Stake rewards, it is unique also isn't it? If so, that would also benefit from a detailed technical explanation about how it works.

Hi everyone,
When the PoS phase finally kicks in, will it be mandatory to have masternodes working in order to obtain coins or just having coins in your wallet will be enough? (I'm not sure if I understood the coinspecs right)
And, if staking without a masternode is enough, is there any advantage for the users with masternodes comparing to those users just staking. I tried to set up a masternode but my router just dislikes the idea. For me it's faster just to buy the coin at bittrex.
Thank you in advance and keep up the good dev work!

Once POS kicks in my understanding is that you only need to keep your wallet open with coins in it. You could earn by running a masternode too once its POS.

Thanks for your answer, .Cryptic, Then, it will work the same as other minting/staking coins and you'll also have the option of setting up masternodes to earn more coins than simply staking coins.

Is rebranding an option?
I think it was asked before and it is an option. If you have masternodes, you can create a proposal with your idea. If the idea is sound and can be executed well, vote will pass and devs will implement/support the voted proposal.

I mean sooner or later hosting masternodes will be a bit risky if you know what I mean Dash had to avoid it to become what it is today. Hosting nodes with this coin name will be not very safe.

Sorry for my little knowledge in this but, what a rebranding would consist of and what would be the reason for it in this case? Thx

If you google "Darknet". you'll never find this coin. Also, there is another coin called Darknetcoin so it's very confusing to those unware. So a new name / branding may be better. Something more unique and searchable / recognizable.

However, I wonder, in case it would be rebranded, would everything else be the same with the coin? would it mean to lose any coins for its users, lose coin value, would the wallets still be usable, etc.? In sum, would rebranding have more disadvantages than advantages?

In sum, would rebranding have more disadvantages than advantages? I would think rebranding would be more advantageous if done early on while it's still in its infancy. But it would also require good reasons for the change with a clear direction & marketing strategy. Devs hasn't yet explained how unique or advanced DNET will become. Only the devs knows that at present. Upcoming PoS switchover is something unique for a DASH clone AFAIK. So that's a good start at least. Anyways, I believe we will get a new wallet real soon? Devs, when are we going to get the mandatory wallet update? I thought it was before PoS switchover? (which is in less than 3 weeks)
