Boy that Binance bounce was for real but unsustainable. No problem. Keep staking!

PIVX is in the coin vote list for Legolas! Legolas is an upcoming premium exchange focused on institutional investors, so that means high volume! Participate in the public ICO, starting on the 1st of February 12:00 PM GMT, at https://legolas.exchange and cast your vote!

Votes are easy to manipulate, as we have seen on other exchanges.

If an "upcoming premium exchange" isn't able to select the most important coins of 2018 then they should consider not to launch at all.

Not listing PIVX is your loss, not ours.

Hello There,

To let your coins grow a bit faster, just join a staking pool.
Since a few weeks i'am using stakeunited, at first i was a bit sketchy but it works out pretty good.

You can stake multiple coins over there like PIVX, OPcoin, KB, Interstellar and so on.

Also the are adding MasterNodes, which might be very interesting for the future.

So have a look at www.stakeunited.com
If you like what you see, you can add me as referral: RossieRoston

Best Regards,
RossieRoston

If you use a pool, your coins will NOT grow 'a bit faster'. Averaged across time, you will receive the same rewards staking by yourself as in a pool. You might even receive less in a pool, depending on the fees it charges.

Pools are potentially useful if you have only a very small number of coins, as they will give you more frequent but much smaller payouts. So, for example, if you have 50 PIV, you might have to stake for months to receive a single payout of 2.16 PIV, whereas if you put those same 50 PIV into a pool you would receive small fractions much more frequently, plus you'd save the electricity cost of running a staking computer. On the negative side, you would be trusting someone else with your coins, which is always a risk--notwithstanding all the ringing endorsements from newbie accounts on the internet.

When deciding whether to stake yourself or as part of a pool, make sure you understand the risks and benefits (or lack thereof) before trusting your coins to someone else (and I am talking about all staking pools, not just StakeUnited).

People be warned, don't ever leave your coins on a third party website to "stake".

Always stake in your own wallet.

And beware of the hidden referral links of those "scamunited" spammers.

Good advice as most exchanges will not give you the interest earned from your staked coins, whatever the coin is. Some exchanges do, like Binance, give the interest earned on coins like NEO but I don't think they do it for Pivx.

Exchanges are a place to trade, not a place to keep your coins.

If you don't hold the private keys, you don't own the coins.

What is going on on this thread these days? So much spam.

It's great that people are interested in PIVX, but finasko.com is NOT an official source for PIVX information, and some of the material in those links is incomplete, out of date, or confusingly expressed. Please check out pivx.org, or the official Discord or Reddit channels, for official PIVX information.

The Power Of Cryptocurrency
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L90tCXwa4h4

Today we cover something really fun. We cover some of the awesome kinds of things that Cryptocurrencies can do besides just replace money. While revolutionizing the financial industry is a major goal in the Cryptosphere, there is far more beyond just that. In the coming years, you are likely to see Cryptocurrency and Blockchain technology reshaping industries you thought unshakable.

Thank you to the PIVX community for your ongoing support.
Special thanks to Veramis for his script editing work and to Hanna for leading the translation efforts. You both rock!

PIVX is a very good coin. Pos with zero protocol sometimes can argue someone as big holders can stake anonymously big amounts, but pivx staff transparency is really appreciated.

The entire market is down right now , but I did notice that WGR (Wagerr) is moving to PIVX for the private instant verified transactions.  I think that might help with the value once everything rebounds.

In the begging where going to be almost 125M IIRC, but MN's owners decide to decrease the block reward after some time. Correct me if I'm wrong
