Feeling those zerocoin tremors as the satoshi value creeps up Wonder why its taking so long to incoporate zerocoin implementation into the official wallet release. Been in the testnet for a while now, right? Not the kind of thing to risk having vulnerabilities in Exactly, there is no point in delivering a killer feature without proper testing. The crypto world will be scrutinizing this feature when its released to the world, so better make it perfect.

I've been following this coin for a while now, privacy centric coins are the way forward but I'm still curious to see when they incorporate the zcoin protocol

Hi everyone,
is it worth to stake a very little amount of PIVX (around 210) with my VPS for 24/7?

Hi everyone,
is it worth to stake a very little amount of PIVX (around 210) with my VPS for 24/7?
that gives you about 10 coins in a year if you're not unlucky but it's a high possibility you will be unlucky since the average stake weight is about 2500 coins, so your 210 coins might not get a reward but I just checked the block explorer and it seems to be ok, some inputs <200 got a reward in a very short time (30days or less, that's very lucky). Click the lowest bubbles at stake weight spent, weight = how many coins in a single input in your case should be 210, age = how much time passed since it got a stake reward. http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/PIVX/index.php

So I should purchase a little more to do some staking. Thanks for your reply!

Its already incorporated in the test net and its only a matter of time before they weed out the finer details and release the mainnet.

Quick question. When I install PIVX from git source and run pivx-cli getinfo I get this result:
"staking status" : "Staking Not Active", "errors" : "This is a pre-release test build - use at your own risk - do not use for staking or merchant applications!"
What am I missing? Is this true? How can you stake your coins if the software says it does not implement it. I'm confused.

Ok, what is the plan of expansion of PIVX. There is some map about this? roadmap maybe?
I m very curious to see what this team could make again. The value of pivx is more stable than before. It's was promising. I like stabilization.

The error message just means that you did not run an 'officially' released build provided by the core team but one you build by yourself from the current source. Only official builds are fully tested, so there might be new errors in the current code. That's the 'on your own risk' part, because, well, in the worst case you could lose money. If you want to build yourself the official release, the links to the used source code are normally posted near the releases itself, see https://github.com/PIVX-Project/PIVX/releases

You downloaded the source code from the front page rather than from an official release. The master branch is for development.

I'm new to this and new to GIT. I used to be a software architect about 10 years ago. Right now I'm doing this as fun. Have tons of catching up to do. Just realized GIT has Release sections lol. I want to clone a coin with masternodes, POW, and POS, so I can learn this stuff, but for some reason I can't find one going. Thankx. I should be able to figure out the simple stuff for now. dmanicus, yes, I just learned. Thankx Brother.

How so? I saw it evolve from Darknet coin to PIVx, it has been nothing but growth since then

Where do I find the wallet.dat in the pivx directory. I cant find it. show hidden files is activated.
or is the pivx wallet the only which does not create a wallet.dat automatically when first time used?
Please ask more precisely - which OS are you using? And sure, PivX makes a wallet.dat on first start on every platform Sorry I am using windows 10. I have installed the wallet on another drive. In the PIVX folder is no wallet.dat Checked Appdata too, there is nothing from the PIVX wallet. Look within the Appdata for a subfolder called Roaming, there should Pivx be C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\PIVX folder

To say PIVX is dying is careless statement. People have been working tirelessly, breaking the back to see pivx gain traction and one brainless buddy was saying shit.
